- HI all and welcome back. On this one, i assemble the tracks for the Frontier OS27 and try to follow the instructions as best as possible. But as always, the instructions are not always easy to follow.
The next hardest bit is getting the tracks level and all in the correct positions ready for the saw head. Hopefully it will fit !!!
Great stuff Nick. Looking good.
Thank you buddy, getting there slowly. Work doesn't help though 🤣
Here in NZ we have pine plantation every where we use to have saw mills every where as well now they are all shut down
and we pay these out rages price for timber all our trees go to China
looks like your having fun good luck mate
Hi buddy, so all the pine trees that could be processed in house now goes to another country. I am having fun bud, just can't wait to get logs milled on it. Thank you for commenting 😊
Best of luck my friend! Write hated the manual (which was black and white photocopies), other than that it wasn't to bad assembling. The longest process for us was just leveling and squaring the bed.
The throttle cable comes loose on ours every couple of cuts to which another connection must be made to hold the cable better, the fastening point on ours just doesn't work. Otherwise that is and are the only problems we have had. Best of Luck Nick!
*since we assembled ours we have had terrible weather also, heavy wind or heavy rain! I believe you will really enjoy using the mill for sure, I will be very handy for you especially!

@@CornucopiaFarmstead Hi Rick and thank you for your support. Yes the manual isn't the greatest and I think some revisions should be made for sure. Even some of the pictures refer to Norwood Mills machines and not Frontier 😆
I'll keep a close eye on that throttle cable then.
I got mine assembled and on the track and since then I've been very busy with work. It's always the case isn't it.
I hope the weather gets better for you so you can get back to milling.
Thank you for your support bud. I really can't wait to get to milling like.
