You guys did a very good job setting in the Mail up and it looks like a beautiful meal and I enjoyed watching so keep up the good work and I will keep watching God bless
That is some beautiful wood! 🪵 Makes a nice paneling, I think. The new sawmill is a beast! Excellent job on getting it put together and up and running Tony! John did excellent as well! And of course big shout out to Tanja for the awesome camera angles. 📷 Thanks for sharing, my friend!
I know u didn’t you go brother that’s a bad saw right there I got the 27 I’m like u I got the electric start I wasn’t trying to snatch on that dude Ms Tonya keep Tony straight God bless u guys 💪🙏❤️
A bit late to this one Tony. Looks like a great mill. You gonna have to invest in some board and log handling equipment the size of produce it turns out.
Nice video Tony. I enjoy watching for tips I can use on my saw mill a Woodmizer. I do have a question on your blade coolant. What do you use, just water? Sawing with Sandy cuts a lot of pine like I do and he gets a lot of pitch build up on his blade. He normally uses water and dish soap but recently experimented with ATF which seemed to help some. Do you cut any pine and what do you do about the pitch?
I don't do very much pine. When I did try pine I use Pine-Sol mixed in with the water. During the winter I use RV antifreeze with pinesol. Seem to help some. I cut mostly oak, hickory and tulip poplar.
That thing is a beast. I'm so impressed. Would that engine mount on the OS27...output shaft the same height? That mill will get Frontier into the slabbing market. I think I read 30 inch wide cut? Great tips on the setting up. That boot doesn't look like a work boot. Be careful brother. Cheers from West Michigan.
The engine on the OS 35 is roughly the same engine as the 22 horsepower predator from Harbor Freight. You can download one of their manuals and get the height of the crankshaft.
I'm waiting for my OS31 to arrive. Do you need to secure the track assy to the timbers you have it sitting on to keep it from moving when placing logs on it?

I know you are right! I am going to have to get creative with the bigger stuff.

Very nice, I'm looking at buying this sawmill next week, so you still like it? Thanks for sharing, stay safe, and God bless
Absolutely. My track extension will be delivered today. I can't wait!
Very nice mill Tony. And, yes Tanja is right. Red Oak is smelly hardwood. Kinda smells like cat pee. Man thats a heckuva sawmill bud.
Thank you my friend. We are having a blast
To my nose red oak and white oak produces a very pleasing odor - black oak on the other hand smells like horse excrement and or urine

Yes, in the videos, I show it being screwed to the timbers.
Do you ever run a metal detector over your logs? I'd cry if I set up the saw, and hit a spike someone drove into tree.
I bought a new metal detector. Never used it once. LOL!
