It is really funny for me to hear the calm, calculated voice of DSP, going "Kill this guy, kill that guy. Make sure to get your ashes of wolves..." Haha, legit as always Nilaus.
In the cata ombs at the beginning, you can attack the statues shooting fire, and they will go down into the ground and stop shooting
you can ride them too by getting close to it and jumping on. youll touch the pillar when you jump on, raising it.
@@adamwittrup6556 didnt know this.... thats nifty trick to cheese enemies if ranged.

@@jamesrea7629 yea. I've jumped on top of a few and got to second levels. Can also go down under some of the elevators after activating them
You guys forgot the Highroad Cave. It also has a boss. Can be found north of Saintsbridge.
This is extremely helpful man thanks. I’ve had trouble finding only half of these dungeons and the walkthrough of them makes it so much easier, you’re the best!
Little tip, follow every cliff face and you'll probably find caves, Some are marked as a dark spot on the world map too

THANK YOU! was looking for a showcase of West Limgrave specifically because I didn't want to miss anything before moving on to the other half of Limgrave. I completely overlooked the last three dungeons in this video.
do note, there's actually a deathrite bird that spawns just a bit east of the warmasters shack, a bell bearing hunter in the warmaster shack, and a nights cavalry on the bridge close to limgrave tunnels (all of which appear at night, however the hunter has a specific spawn time at night so you'll have to wait a bit)
didn't see any of these on your map at the beginning so i thought i'd point them out :^)
This is focused on dungeons. Also didn't mention the giant dragon😉
Great video man. This actually helped me find a video I had missed as well. Would love if you did this for the other areas. Especially the mining dungeon with that but headed bull boss to the east.
This is a great walkthrough! I'd finished most but not all of these dungeons so it's good to get an explanation of where the remainders are.
One great attack for enemies like rats is the backstep-attack, perfect for those encounters where a guard counter isn't working. Stay effective!
How does the backstep attack work? I can get the dodge cancel attack on the heavy attacks with curved swords, but I can never get the backstep attack
There is a lantern item you can buy from a merchant I think in the swamp/water area north of stormveil castle. This gives you a light source as an item you can wear on your waist and doesn’t take up any equipment slots. Let’s you use shield in dark areas.
Really helpful and entertaining videos. One thing that might help: You can buy a lantern to wear on your belt so you don't have to hold the torch in those dark regions!

In storm foot catacombs you can hit the fire towers to close them off so you won’t have to constantly dodge the flames

1. Use a blunt weapon in Limgrave tunnels. They are really weak to that.
2. The boss in Limgrave is really weak to fire attack.
3. You can get an attachable lantern from a vendor for 1800 in the far west in the peninsula. That way you dont have to deal with torches.
4. Blunt is good against skeletons too.
*Make sure you have a blunt before starting game.

I would be neat to see a guide featuring different weapons and maybe even builds. Maybe that is too much to ask for early on, because often different builds require different new stats, but just a showoff of some different aspects would be appreciated. I'm watching these as someone who plays all the From Soft games a few years after they come out, so I want to see all the things that make this one special and different.
right, someone run a hero with no shield or dual dagger using bandit. every video i see is the same old sword and board character.
so at 2:07 instead of running when the flames go away. you can shoot the flame tower with a bow, magic or a knife to it goes down and whabam no more worries :)

If I remember correctly the somber smithing stones are for unique weapons like the tree sentinels halberd
Or the First Bosses Weapon, Grafted Scion
I used it on my crystal sword it required somber stones
Shoot the flame cannon things with a arrow and it stops or wack it with your sword
Show the map locations on a unlocked map would be nice

Strike damage wrecks the miners and the boss in that area as does any magic
Try to get the Lantern from the merchant in SW of the Weeping Peninsula
I missed like 3 of those by the time i killed godrick so when i came back to them i was kinda op . couldnt spare patches cuz of a blood prock xd
Patches has given me way too much trauma in the other games for me to spare him

you forgot one mini boss... is right side of Deathtouched Catacomb.. in the Highroad Cave... is a giant golem :)
Highroad I consider part of the other zone since you have to cross the bridge to get there. It will be in the next one, hopefully today
@@Nilaus yeah man, i find another boss, just below Deathtouched cave, and right up from groveside cave.. deathbird is a mini boss
I always struggle killing canid creatures in video games. The sounds they make break my heart.
If you hit the flame traps with a weapon they retract into the floor.
Do a tutorial on belt placement.
Please friend can you make all the other dungeons ? Like the other places in the map
Tip, hit the statues they stop shooting fire
Is there a way to see if you have completed the encounter/boss yet? Sometimes I get to it, activate the sight, but don’t complete the boss. Other times I complete it all the way. But I don’t see a way of know if I have done it yet without going to the place and making my way all the way to the boss
73 hours into this game and I completely missed the Stormfoot catacombs

I wish you'd show where they are on the map. I'm trying to figure out where all the dungeons are. Map images are a pretty basic and universal aspect of video game guides like this, after all.

The miners with coal on there back will explode with fire damage

If you use a torch on those miners they fucking blow up. Great for a low level run
If you roll against the fire-spitting pillars they will go down and the fire bullshit will stop

i’m playing on hard mode rn i just started. how do i get my map. i’m lost just runnin and dying to crabs and stuff
SO how do people even find these dungeons? Is there a hint or something in the game or the map or do I have to pay more attention? I've been riding my horse around limgrave and the stormy area (stormveil?) and have found like 2 dungeons max. I want to level up before Margit!

I've had the same trouble. I'm persistent enough. I'll find these things. Until than I'll keep killing the scrubs in the open fields until I find them
Whenever I go into the boss room, there are 4/5 ‘minions’ as well as the boss. Any reason for this?

Use Holy on your weapons and it will kill the skeletons and they will not respawn
