Hi Chef Geoffrey my name is Jaylen and I'm 12 year old. I enjoy watching your cooking shows. Today I made your babyback ribs. They turned out pretty good. Thank you for sharing your recipe.
Wow that’s awesome to hear. Your just like me. I started cooking at a young age. Keep up the good work. Practice makes perfect
That's what's up 💜💜💜💜 Inspiring Youth
Just cooked some baby back ribs and followed this recipe just like you said. OMG AMAZING! 💯😎 Thank you 🙏
Awesome
Tried this method. Forget the low n slow. This is how I'll do it from now on. Wowza! I never would have believed cooking at those temps would yield this result.
I just made these ribs. VERY good method. I was skeptical given the cooking time but they turned out great. Juicy and full of flavor. Two things: the two different cooking times is a game changer AND the recommendation for a thick sauce is crucial. I also think that draining the pan is also solid advice. Thank you for this recipe!
Great to hear!
Just had to stop by and say hi, and this is my go to rib recipe. I'm in here at 10pm in this kitchen making these ribs for our cookout tomorrow. This is the 4th or 5th time I have made these. Everyone loves them. They are so delicious and easy to make. I watch this video every time I make them even tho I know the recipe by heart. Just makes it more fun to watch an make them at the same time.
I LOVE this recipe. I finally know how to make ribs right! These are delicious. Thank you Chef for teaching me how to cook Old School Soul food style!
Stumbling across your channel is a blessing. Your cooking reminds me of my grandma’s. God bless you.
I can't get over how beautiful these ribs are with a gorgeous chard back ♥️💯 straight out of the oven! Thank you so very much ♥️💯
I just made these today and they are falling off of the bone and delicious. They are a little different flavor than being on a charcoal grill, but since we are going into winter I decided to try it and you get an A+ . Next time I will try some liquid smoke, but this definitely is a winner. Thank you!
I made the ribs today they were delicious I really enjoyed them
As a Puerto Rican man from New York with a southern soul, I feel blessed to have come across your channel good sir. Looking forward to trying out your recipes which I have no doubt will be delicious 🙏🏽
Thanks 🙏
Just made these Ribs again for the second time but this time I followed step by step what you did & used, and once more... THESE WERE SO DELICIOUS.
Old school my man I put sauce on from the beginning at 450 then added more at 350 covered then again more sauce like you do at 450 again uncovered and even more Carmelisation was even added to it I love this recipe and changing things up a bit this is just the bomb thank you! ;) 🇺🇸
I am so impressed with your cleanliness! That is very important to me when I cook.
Seasoned in the sink ?
Do you have a dirty sink at your house?
I don’t
You are cooking those ribs, thank you for showing me how, I love to watch you cook!
Bless you! I cannot say enough about your channel. I can now have ribs in the winter months. To say the least I am a happy camper.
I made these tonight. I was skeptical because everyone always talks about low and slow. I chose this version becauase it was going to be 1.5 hours. They came out perfect and tasted great. I like when you can clean the rib off the bone easily but the meat doesn't all fall off when you pick up the rib. I'll continue to use this method. Thank you.
Made these again tonight for the 2nd time....turned out perfect again.
I'm not a pork eating person however your ribs looks so good. Make me want to start eating ribs again. Gosh, it looks so tempting. Umm, umm good.
I made these for Easter Sunday. They are bussing!!!! Thanks for the know how.
Bravo Jaylen..years old is great start to your future as a chef. Congratulations! Chef Jeffrey is a terrific teacher!
YUM! Only thing I do different is season them in the pan I'll cook them in. Just prevents loss if any seasoning. Truly next best thing to outdoor grilling.
Im Greek, and as soon as I saw Cavenders in your spice set up I knew this is the recipe I would use.
Thx for sharing Chef
I’ve baked my ribs plenty of times but your recipe is by far more delicious. The different cooking temperatures made all of the difference. Thank you so much!
Great to hear!
Love how you use your oven to cook those ribs and how while you season them.
CHEF.....ok i made your ribs yesterday &let me just say OMG! I rubbed a little mustard on my ribs to help my rib rub stick better &i used the salt lick's rib rub.I poured just a little apple juice at the bottom of my tray while they were cooking the first 30 minutes.Drained well &then left them go uncovered like u said using to glaze my ribs with Dickey's bbq sauce....THESE WERE FIRE BRO!!!!! AMAZING FALL OFF THE BONE,SO TENDER,JUICY&FINGER LICKING GOOD. From texas i must say this is the best Rib recipe yet on youtube...Thank You for the awesome recipe&GOD BLESS YOU
Awesome. Thanks. I may try your method also

Hello Chef Jeffery, thank you so much for this recipe. I don’t usually like pork because of its gamey flavour, but my husband came home with pork ribs from the grocery store and I’m so glad I found your video. I don’t have a grill so followed your oven roasting technique and it came out amazing! I was really surprised to find a pork dish that I genuinely enjoy! Best wishes from Canada 🇨🇦

No I didn’t
@@OLDSCHOOLSOULFOOD Thank you. This will be a very easy recipe.
Hey Chef Geoffrey! I have a question regarding the first step when putting the ribs in the oven at 450f. To achieve a good initial coloring, should I use the top oven rack or still be gentle and use the lowest rack? Thank you! My brother and I love old school soul food and you are the top tier!
