Exactly or how maybe people approximately give or take who are 17 to 28 years old may act or think I definitely don't see a massive hate of black people for each other or towards Africans. Better than the Brazilian real and I've traveled and lived in are the countries. For years at a time. Have lived in Cleveland Ohio my hometown, Denver Colorado, and Atlanta Georgia. There are in my opinion small pockets of the behavior and mindset that Auston is speaking of. The overwhelming majority of blacks in the USA collectively do not have that mindset. Especially when you throw in the demographics of age group, education levels, upbringing, economic status, religion/ religious values, their environment a person lives in. I do not question what he has experienced that makes him feel that way growing up in Ft Worth Dallas and being in his age group. But it's a very limited sampling. Geographics plays a roll in ones outlook too. I mean I'm sure in Chicago is a different temperament than say Sumpter South Carolina. Same for Baltimore and Las Vegas NV , Memphis Tn and Covington Ky

I don’t think it’s right to point the finger in one direction. But I can speak from my experience, us AFRICAN AMERICAN’s watch too much TV. We take on character traits from elders who didn’t even love themselves or each other. They attempted to teach us to dislike Africans. Myself personally since I’ve been 7yrs old knew Africa is where I came from. Like a lion born in a Florida zoo, my traits scream African. I love seeing them back home in their element and doing big things. I wholeheartedly believe I will go back home one day.
Actually it’s a lot of people some black folks too are in the plot but mostly it’s historical . It’s to prevent big black organisation that could over throw them back in the day. Nowadays the goal is reached we are way below them so if we unit now and make more money business and technology they would not stop us for at least three generation because we are not a threat to their supremacy . We are way below even the Russian who were talk bad are actually bad at doing war . But black people with correct coaching we can be the best at basketball nfl soccer ( french team with mostly African descent ) speed ( Usain Bolt ) and even intellectual stuffs so that’s why they fear us. They know that if given the chance we will sit on top in everything and it will be mad annoying for them. So the prevent and break the mind of black people in the past strong. So they can have a good life free from competition. I think it will not last forever at some point we will be back it might take two generations. Three four or 9 generations but at some point we will come back at the top in every areas. And when this will happen that’s when we will see their true face . The real face of the people who are against black people worldwide . Lol 😂 it will be mad funny I will laught from my tomb

IDK why people are posting to make themselves look good when we all know the systems in place to divide us all. When he saying "taught" he is only acknowledging a system that is absolutely present to divide. I can say for myself I don't hate anyone but I can also say that how some of the other cultures that looks like me have behaved towards me in a way that may influence me to distance a little from folks from that culture. The type of interactions that you know you haven't contributed to that would leave you to question "what is it that you came into this interaction believing about me"? I've encountered this from a few other cultures. If we acknowledge that it is present, then we can move in a way that we purposefully counter that and love one another. I digress
So-called Africans vs so-called African Americans. You can't just use general terms like that. Africa is made up of 54 countries and more than 3000 tribes. I remember growing up in Benin, I never once heard any disparaging statement against so-called African Americans over there, be at school or in the mainstream media.
@@AustonHolleman Yes I am. I'm talking about what transpires in Benin specifically (mainstream media or at school). The average citizen does not have the time, the energy or the willingness to hate on any so-called African American.

As a white person growing up, I was a very small minority in my environment and because I primarily had black and Mexican friends growing up that's translated to the majority of my adult friends being much the same... I've never witnessed nor been told from any of my peoples about African Americans being taught to hate Africans but I've directly been told from the overwhelming majority of male African immigrants I've conversed with that they inherently, culturely dislike African Americans on the whole with the reasoning being different and dependant on where in Africa they're from. The only exception being those individuals from North Africa, aka the southern Mediterranean region of peoples. Now I've had African American friends state to me that they dislike African males because of this prejudice and malice that they get on the large from those types but that's simply them giving back the energies that they themselves are given in the first place to which I can totally understand where they're coming from when it comes from that and honestly thats not really a prejudice towards only Africans because that's a phenomenon that could and is applied to anyone in their daily life's encounters.... but that's just what I've learned and understood in my life's experiences for what that's worth.... idk, I'm just a poor, white, nonbiasd observer in this particular instance soooooo I'd say dude in the clip is only half cappin on this occasion
To simply it, most African immigrants who come to western countries think of black people as what is portrayed in rap videos or “hood movies” … In their minds , they payed thousands of dollars to get to America or Europe only to find Black Americans not take advantage of the things they didn’t have in Africa… Not to mention , the cultural barriers… I’m not saying African immigrants are right in their generalizations or prejudices, they simply don’t invest any interest to understanding black history or struggle in America…
@Logistics_Sandar I can sympathize with that. The culture of Americans in general has turned very toxic in a lot of ways but there are opportunities still so I get where you're coming from.
Although it's true, maybe it's time to let this narrative go. Jus how most people thinks Whites are racist&Whites do their damndest to not live up to the stereotype. Maybe all the Africans&Black's claiming this isn't true will do their best to not live up to this very true stereotype.

Well I’m 49 and my parents are from Sierra Leone. He ain’t lying at all. All you have to do is go on social media and you can see what he is saying is accurate. They say they are Native American and not African American. Many of these folks hate Africans who come to the US and call the children and descendants of these African immigrants tethers. The Hebrew Israelites are pretty tough with their anti-African rhetoric as well.
There is the *coward* on here eliminating legitimate, non-vulgar, respectful opinions. We are way below even the Russian who were talk bad are actually bad at doing war . I digress

In their minds , they payed thousands of dollars to get to America or Europe only to find Black Americans not take advantage of the things they didn’t have in Africa…
Not to mention , the cultural barriers…
I’m not saying African immigrants are right in their generalizations or prejudices, they simply don’t invest any interest to understanding black history or struggle in America…

I was never taught to hate Africans or African Americans or Any Other Race Because I was raised the right way, So maybe Auston Holleman is speaking from his own experience.

it's baffling how many people in these comments are projecting their silo'd/isolated experiences with the overall black American experience. just by default of being in this comment section, you probably don't fit the generic Black American mold... so you probably 1) aren't as privy to the US propagandistic machine or 2) avoided falling for the tricks so you have a rare experience outside of the masses
if you've ever lived in a major metropolitan (and were outside, not working/school all the time) then you know what Auston is saying is true. This man was a barber, he's used to interacting with diverse groups of people, not just your college/corporate crowd
Thanks man this is spot on
Auston being a barber should be even more exposed to black men who get along with one another. The black barbershop is literally a meeting ground and clubhouse for black men. I’d say we get along best in the barbershop! Most Black people, unfortunately are poor, and poor people generally have issues of hating, jealousy, etc. However, Auston is speaking as if Black people run the other way when they see another one coming. This just isn’t true. We can’t lead gang culture be projected as overall black American culture, because it’s not.
@@troyelam8978but it is though. If you didn't want gang culture and black culture mixing then you might want to go out and actually let that be known because it isn't. Idk if you're just making yourself blind on purpose but i see the black community degrade themselves more and more. You're white washed if you're educated and not spekaing in slang and made fun of for actually learning. You can actually see this reflected in state by state stats on black youth 's grade levels. If i were you i would be more involved in your child's day to day and actually give them attention and they wouldn't be so emotional and mentally lost.
Yeah ur wrong don’t get me wrong niggas do be violent and hella ignorant but black folk also get along, your sound like you don’t go out because there is plenty of black events that black peoples of all types go to, both gangbangers and corporate.

If you're a black man who doesn't act like a thug, or call other black folks the "n" word, then you're a square or lame. The aggression is palpable. And white people hate constructive Black men.

Auston needs to stop generalizing Black Americans, because most Black Americans are hardworking people who just live their life. I've been to most states in the US and everywhere I've been black folks treated me like family.
Black Americans also love their brothers and sisters of the Diaspora. Black Americans share all the resources that we fought for with our brothers and sisters from other countries who come here and we get nothing back.
I've traveled to 10 African countries and they show us love in their countries.
Only problem is in the countries I've been to, they will serve white people over black people in restaurants.
This comment is so off topic
@AustonHolleman Don't even entertain it Auston, I am reading comments and seeing folks that can't understand a simple video
It’s true to some extend of course painting with one brush is for a message on one channel. It the current main thread in the culture in the black world in the US turn very toxic recently. Of course a lot of black people just do their life and are fine people who are not stupid and know all of that
They rush to serve white ppl first coz according to them..white equates to money/wealthy and usually they get better tips from them...

Black American men we love the women from Africa. But we don’t really hang with the men from there
Lies. BA men love women from Africa? Nope. All lies. Most will be quick to demean African women's facial features and skin color. If not directly, through body language. Some truly despise us. Stop lying
As a Nigerian and well travelled as well I get you...we might be of same race but we're different mentally and culturally.. what you said is of both sides especially from us Nigerians..it easier for a Nigerian guy dating African American women than hanging with African American men..

Ethiopians like other Ethiopians and they do so more than any other African nationality likes their own people. West African people are very distrustful in financial matters of other West African people. Black South African people are very similar to American descendants of slaves in how they feel about their own people.
If that's true,Eritrea loved to be Ethiopian so bad, they broke away to become a sovereign country. And has the Tigray region been in a fierce fight with government forces out of love for country or voicing of a grievance?
I've met the Oromos in the diaspora with grudge stories to fill a book. Your claim of Ethiopians loving each other so much than other Africans towards their fellow country folk needs a little bit more evidence. Ethiopia like the rest of Africa or my native Kenya has work to do. Let's just be honest.
