I mean some people argue what a ‘cozy’ game even is. There’s the cozy aestetic and games people ‘find cozy’ and those things sometimes fall into argument territory. 🥺
My Time at Sandrock is in like my top 3 favorite games of all time! The graphics are deceptively rough and cutesy for how deep the lore of the world/main story is, but the gameplay is so fun! I never finished the main story in the first installment of the My Time series, but I think the developers definitely found their footing w Sandrock. Also, the third installment is currently raising money via kickstarter! They’ve surpassed their set goal so I’m excited to see what’s next
Haven’t played TS4 since 2020 when I found Stardew ❤ now I’m playing my time at Portia. I don’t think I could ever go back with the way the sims is fundamentally at the moment.
I’ve been calling Tiny Glade an art medium! It’s so much fun to get all the details in with extra windows and colours of everything (including window light colours!!!!) and right now I’m making a castle town that’s filling the entire map from edge to edge. It’s been so fun to see how full I can get everything and I cannot WAIT for them to drop more clutter and textures.
I'm obsessed with CL! I'm in the discord server and the devs gives updates on what they are working and what they are fixing. Right now they have two big updates that they are working on.
Oh my goodness. I am old and I still remember playing all the Monkey Island games with my sons many years ago. The puzzles were challenging and I sometimes resorted to getting a walk-through for the game in order for us to finish it. These games are very witty and a lot of fun.
I'm old too! so I vividley remember the Monkey Island games and the cheat walk-throughs. Some of the puzzles just didn't make sense but I think they were great to do together with the kids because they learnt how to think "out of the box" compaired with a lot of kids now. No shade there if your a kid and reading this by the way! 😄
My Time at Sandrock is like my most favorite game of the decade. ❤😊 already spent more than 500 hours playing it. I'm so happy you mentioned it here and also their upcoming sequel My Time at Evershine (the Kickstarter will end in 2-3 weeks or so). Would love to see you make videos about it if you're getting tired of the sims! As well as other cozy games. We don't have enough youtubers covering the my time games in the fandom.
I've been having a hard time finding a game I can chill too. I have adhd, and I enjoy going into depth with things. It can't be too simple or I'm bored but also not overwhelming and confusing. I do enjoy coral island but I did hit a point of boredom. The dungeons/mines are fun and going into the water, but it's taking forever to get to know the peoples. I really hope the new year brings some enjoyable PC games. I have a range of games I play but I always hit that boredom moment and it's like 50/50 chance I'll never play or finish it again.
I HIGHLY recommend Tiny Glade to those who feel stuck. In any aspect. Because my bf is extremely anxious all the time, even games make him anxious. But Tiny Glade is soooooo relaxing and chill and absolutely fun... My bfs moods has significantly improved and his creativity is bursting.. if you feel stuck - creatively or whatever - I cannot recommend this game enough. It's so freeing to play
I love when you do these cozy game reviews for when I get frustrated with the Sims. I'd love to see more cozy games on your channel, but I understand UA-cam's algorithms :(
Fastest I've ever spotted a satch video upload I don't know if that's something to be proud or ashamed of lmao edit: Monkey Island mentioned??! SatchOnSimsOn-MYspecial interest??¿¿ no way 💀🐒🏝
OH MY! I wasn't expecting to see Guybrush Threepwood on here lol! Pleases me lots! Being in my late forties, I played the old Monkey Island games. It was so fun! Thanks for the throwback :)
Everyone should definitely check out Fields of Misteria! It's similar to Stardew Valley but has a cute 80s anime artstyle and magic fantasy. Really cute and cozy!
I am so happy you made this video. I love your videos but I don't play sims anymore. So it's nice to see you branch out. I just can't with sims anymore. I try to play but I get bored within an hour. I love the My Time series. I am very interested in Fabledon. Haven't played it but looked fun!
Tiny Glade is awesome! you can either just doodle around for a bit or build some crazy ass castle for hours. and it has only been released like a week ago so I am hoping for some updates and new content in the future :)
I love the My time series and Fabledom is soo good!! Tiny Glade is similar to Townscaper with a bit more stuff. TALES OF MONKEY ISLAND!!!! Love that whole series so much!!! Storyteller was so good too. I beat it so fast lmao!! All on Steam.
Call me fixated on these just for the big ol vans you get to drive in them, but right now I am vibing on Cozy Caravan and Caravan Sandwich. Also, Go Go Town a game that amused me for hours and hours.
i like how you switched it up in terms of this list! when you said bloons td6 and described it as a str8 yt guy game i cracked the hell up, bc my bf loves that game and it probably is his cozy game. he is indeed a straight yt man😂😂 so on the nose lol.
The last game reminded me of the Framed series. I don't know if it would be classified as a cozy game, but it's so so so good. You have to put the frames of a sort of graphic novel in order, it's animated and in a noire movie style.
Ive not heard of most of the games so it was good to learn about them. Thanks for a lovely video...I think your a really nice person by the way and you made me literally laughed out loud when you explained how the 8yr olds didn't follow the rules for the dressing up game and what your feelings about it were. So funny! 😄 xx
Omg I just had a flashback. Does anyone remember Leisure Suit Larry? It's the Monkey Island type of game where you click on things with options to move forward, but super naughty. My brother would play it and forbid me from watching cause I was too young, but I could peak sometimes. I would love to see Satch play it
I had to pause playing Coral Island because of the issues with Humble Games and their access to updating the console versions are halted. But I have picked up My Time at Sandrock and been enjoying it! I am considering backing My Time at Evershine. I’ve never backed a project before.
I’ve played Storyteller and honestly I wish there was more games like it 🥺, I absolutely loved it and the characters are awesome 😂, really would recommend. 💯
What a great list :) I've been thinking about checking out Coral Island. One game I really like is Moonstone Island. It's another farming type simulator game mixed with Pokémon and exploration. I really like it. It's not as indepth as some other games, but that's ok. Sometimes, simple is best. It's definitely one of my new favorite games of all time. Have a nice day.
Monkey island ❤. I loved my time in Portia I struggle to get into sand rock. I’m loving two point campus at the minute. Already completed two point hospital.
Coral Island and Sandrock are wonderful mentions. Although I would say the combat in Stardew is even more engaging than the combat in Coral Island. Most of the crafting recipes to help with combat are totally useless when you can just wack the monsters a couple times and walk away XD
I recomend Little big adventure remake Twinsens quest that has a digital release november 14. There is a demo out now on steam!🔥 really good and cozy adventure game.
i love coral island. i took a break cause my wedding glitched but ill probably make a new save since we have had so many updates since then. Have you tried cozy grove 1 or 2?
My cozy game is recoloring Sims 2 stuff and watching UA-cam videos. ;;;>_< But also, my all time favorite cozy game is Chicory A Colorful Tale. Please go buy it, it’s the best!!! Support the indie devs!!!
i was really into coral island in january i think, i played every content they had and cleaned all of the ocean. But after they released the update to add more story to the under the ocean city, i couldnt bother playing it again tbh, i hated how my character looked and that threw me off. The customization lacks variation, long hairs look wonky and the outfits were really uninteresting and basic. The npcs have incredible looks and outfits that we cant ever get close to
Oh and i HATE the heart events for most of the npcs, you are only in the corner lurking their conversations most of the time, you rarely interact within the cutscenes. Heart events are not about you meeting the character, but exposition to their lore. So when you gain enough hearts to date some of the npcs, you barely even flirted??? its so strange
ive been trying to find new things to play but struggle to.. like i dont really like farming that often (if i do then i just play stardew lol since it has all i need and mods) so thank you for this 8:48 lmaoo DTI in cozy? i mean i get that, i've had fun playing in the times ive playedmoreso bloons, i so far on this list ive play DTI and Bloons, i used to play Bloon heavily daily and i havent at all this year shockingly.. maybe i'll get back into it, i would grind sm in it
My personal cozy game I came back after a couple of months of not playing is ultrakill and let me tell you there's no greater game to get some of them happiness juice and yeah is a shooter and a fast paced but there's no greater feeling that hitting some cool combo using coins or blasting a mf with a shotgun shot right on the face After all it isn't called the ADHD game without a good reason
OMG stop calling us out with Monkey Island :))))))))))))))))) Yes, we're old enough to know it 😂😂😂 We know Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Loom, Myst, The Longest Journey, Grim Fandango and I can go on aaahahahah
thank you for not making them all FARMING games lol. I do not want to relax after a long day of work by tending to the fields 😭 I do not dream of labour
Another really underrated and fun game series that The Sims like but cosy game, a bit of the farming collecting small town evolution type of gaming genre. Survival is one hour one life and there’s also a second version or more complex version that’s two hours, but I would’ve never played game the first one or the mobile version to understand the basics because the second one is more meant for people who played the first one for a while or enough to understand that one’s really fun and recommended it’s basically you live a life in one hour and work with your environment players and it’s really fun chaotic like the Sims Glory Days
Lmao im actually glad i left the sims4 YEARS ago. I still check on it here and there waiting for a car update. But they dont care about family and straight male gameplay anymore. And yes they have family gameplay but they all act like dumb npcs. Satch is the only reliable source of sims news
@@kennethseancarson i duno, like i said cars, like teaching your kid sim how to drive, fixing cars and stuff, theres no music bands, are there even pool tables now? Interactions missing. Thats just what i can think of now.
Ngl seeing Dress to Impress on the list made me raise my eyebrows given how salty Satch was over it 😂
I'm so happy this isn't just a farming sim list. Equating cozy gaming with farming is so tired at this point
The word "cozy" is what's tiring.
I mean some people argue what a ‘cozy’ game even is. There’s the cozy aestetic and games people ‘find cozy’ and those things sometimes fall into argument territory. 🥺
For real. I’m good on the farming sims
@@Al0neStillAlive I mean. You're welcome to call it anything else

Honestly so here for the cozy game content that isn’t sims! I’ve pretty much shelved TS4 so I’ll watch anything you put up! 😂
Haven’t played TS4 since 2020 when I found Stardew ❤ now I’m playing my time at Portia. I don’t think I could ever go back with the way the sims is fundamentally at the moment.

Satch!! When are we getting another Dress to Impress episode??? I’m living for your gameplay💅🏻
I LOVEEE coral island! I am so happy to hear you talk about it
I feel so old, having played the original Monkey Island Point and Click Adventures. 😂
I’ve played resident evil games and dress to impress is more stressful than that

Love. A mixed batch, Satch! Fableton seems like a cozy version of Actraiser; had a bit of rts(?). And Monkey Island sounds fun.
Rune Factory 4 is my favourite cozy game although it does have some level of jrpg in it. It has great romance
If you like cozy games, you should try Astroneer. I just love this game 🥳👏🏻🥰
Super Fun! I enjoy "Patron" + "Banished"
This is the video I have been needing. Been looking for a new cozy game and needed some opinions on them! 🤣🥰
Coral Island and Sandrock are wonderful mentions. Although I would say the combat in Stardew is even more engaging than the combat in Coral Island. Most of the crafting recipes to help with combat are totally useless when you can just wack the monsters a couple times and walk away XD
What about Two Point Campus and Hospital? Can they be classified as cozy games? 🤔
Coral Island ❤ love it!

I like seeing other games you’re into :)
I recomend Little big adventure remake Twinsens quest that has a digital release november 14. There is a demo out now on steam!🔥 really good and cozy adventure game.
If you like Dress to Impress, maybe give SHINING NIKKI a chance. It's basically the same thing, but with stunning visuals.
I love bloons td5 more than the others. I tried 6 and I just about had a meltdown. I stick to where I’m comfortable 😂
I am loving tiny glade!
My Time at Sandrock is really good!
I’m 3 year my time at evershine will be out I can’t wait ❤
i love coral island. i took a break cause my wedding glitched but ill probably make a new save since we have had so many updates since then. Have you tried cozy grove 1 or 2?
I’m just getting into Hogwarts legacy and I’m obsessed. It’s sort of cozy and action based. There are also puzzles
My cozy game is recoloring Sims 2 stuff and watching UA-cam videos. ;;;>_<

Post more dress to impress!!!! plss :)
Calling me out for loving Coral Island and the multitude of NPCs 😭
satchonSIMS 💜
From me seeing everyone play dress to impress it seems stressful. It could be cosy if youre with honest voters or friends
Monkey Island was great 👍👍
Have you tried Outlanders 2 on mobile?😊
Omg i love that your a dress to impress baddie

And thanks for calling me out. Lol, homosexual indeed.

Rachelle Oval
I'm really over cozy games being just farming sims as well
Please play more dress to impress!!!
thank you for not making them all FARMING games lol. I do not want to relax after a long day of work by tending to the fields 😭 I do not dream of labour
DTI is fun but it sends me raging constantly when 10 year olds don’t follow the theme and vote each other

my time at portia was the most boring game i ever tried (via xbox gamepass)
