My hypothetical grandkids are gonna love these when they finally come out
Light no Fire seriously cannot come soon enough! I’m so excited for it. I really hope they take their time with it, so that it lives up to the hype.
I hope so... I remember when No Man Sky first came out and I was so hyped. I never bought the game in the end, so I truly hope the ambition isn't too over whelming for the team...
I'm not really into multi-player and hate that a lot of games only cater to that. Hopefully I'd still be able to enjoy it solo...but I'm not counting on it.
@lazyannie it's a shame you've never tried it tbh. Hello Games is the definition of redemption arc in the gaming world, they're now probably one of the most trusted company of all times out there because with time, they released everything they promised for and way, way beyond for FREE and keep updating their project more often than any other game dev team does.
@@BirdLadyy You're right, but i've played no man's sky solo more than with friends... this is weird but the vastness of space in that game makes me feel "lonely" and comfortable. Like the really cozy quiet of discovery and traveling from planet to planet. Hope you give it a try once at least.
The positive is that the team worked their butts off to get NMS up to par to the hype that was created even though it failed at launch. so even if this game flops too, we can expect them to fix it and add what they have promised later on. Hopefully they won't risk it again, and I expect they have learnt from their mistakes. But NMS is pretty good now, so I expect a good game from them.
Honestly thought Witch Brook would have been out by now XD I finally stopped keeping tabs on it so it's kind of amusing to see it mentioned again ages later XD
Cherry on top and sunny side up are so informative, this is the content I didn't know I needed it. Thanks again for the great video
I am so ready for Paralives. I loved Sims for so many years but we need other games. Under a Rock and Light no Fire looks super promising too.
Aww! Thank you, this makes me happy to hear!
Under a Rock looks amazing! Can’t believe this is the first I’m hearing of it. Thanks Sarah!
the animals!! 🥹
So excited for Paralives
Great show. I look forward to more episodes from you. Your coverage of each game is good and you give us your thoughts on each one. Keep it up. Hugs
loftia and Puffpals are sooo cute! Need! 💕
After playing the Moonlight Peaks demo, it blows my mind that it's set for a 2026 release. It felt quite polished and was a bit addictive, plus it's something new in the farming sim genre as you play as a vampire. Witchbrook has been on my radar since it was announced; I didn't realize it was that long ago! I hope we hear more news about it soon.
As a long time Simmer, it's nice to see others trying to break into the Sims space. Paralives has been on my radar for ages too, and I can't wait for it to be out. I know we'll be getting Life By You in a few weeks (if it's not delayed yet again), but that game looks questionable. The character models in that game need A LOT of work.
This is my first time hearing of Farm Folks. It looks like it has a lot of potential, but will it be another Palia? I tried Palia on my switch and it felt kinda empty for me. No one really tried to interact much.
I saw DokeV when it was shown at a game fest, and am not really interested in it. Loftia looks quite cute, though I'd say the same for it as what I said for Farm Folks. Will this be another Palia? I'd LOVE an MMO life sim game. So more than 25 players. I'd love something where you can establish a community online with others. More like a better Sims Online than Palia.
Inzoi reminds me of the MMORPG Black Desert, at least graphically, (the detail/realism, the customization in the character models). I played it shortly after the NA launch, and there was SO MUCH pop-in. Maybe they've fixed it by now? I do remember having a house in one of the cities with a balcony, and being able to not only see players actually passing by in the street, but also being able to jump down from the balcony (it was on the 2nd floor) and be on the street seamlessly. If Inzoi has that sort of seamless interaction with the city, then consider me interested. Anything except the endless loading screens and rabbit holes of the Sims 4.
Puffpals looks cute, but your concerns are definitely valid. Will it be the Star Citizen of life sim games? (on a vastly smaller scale). 🤔
Under a Rock I haven't heard of, and it looks amazing. How she befriended the little sabertooth made me laugh. I hope it lives up to its potential.
Light No Fire has me unreasonably excited. I haven't played No Man's Sky, but I've heard it's vastly improved since launch. It gives me hope that the devs will have learned from their mistakes and grown enough so Light no Fire lives up to its immense potential and ambition. I've been an MMORPG player for a long time, and there's something about flying across vast continents that is just so fun, yet peaceful. Light No Fire is definitely the one I'm most looking forward to, but I'm doing my best to temper my expectations. I've been burned too many times by ambitious games (like Landmark). Apologies for the wall of text. Thanks for your video though, it brought a lot of new games to my attention. I look forward to hearing more about these games, as well as seeing more of your videos! 🥰
I am so excited for all of these games!!! I have already purchased loftia, and puffpasl island in the skies!!!!
Also super excited for Moonlight Peaks!!!
I can't wait to play them!!!
Also this new show is so cute!!!
These are definitely some of the heavy hitters on the horizon for us! Thank you so much!
where did you purchase loftia? I don't find anything.
Chef RPG feels like it fits this list , was expecting it but glad to see a lot of titles i wasn't aware of
Given Chucklefish's history, I wouldn't count on Witchbrook; far too long silent, and the treatment that they've given Starbound.. let's just say it's not great. 😅
What's up with Chucklefish?
@@thisthat8717 I'd say look up some of the information yourself because I don't really remember the details. Every now and then in r/Starbound would resurface that they had interns heavily involved in the SB development who went without credit or pay. Back in 2019 it was when they said they outsourced the optimization of SB to release for Xbox and that's been silent as well since then with them only saying that it's still in progress, but somehow they managed to develop and release Wargroove and then Wargroove 2.
I went to check the official discord and seems a modder has a summary of the events so far in the SB chat pins (I used to be a very active modder years ago with a big furniture mod for SB)
Another thing is that Stardew Valley used to be published under Chucklefish, and ConcernedApe chose to later self-publish it, I don't know the exact reasons but doesn't give me a great feeling.
ETA:// It's basically a wait for them to prove it all wrong and actually deliver anything.
All these games look fun. I can't wait to see the life sim games as I am a huge Sims fan! keep up the good work Sarah!
Inzoi looks so REAL that’s crazy! I can’t wait for moonlight peaks
Another Sweet Show Miss Sarah! You are the go-to for gaming news, play-throughs, detailed game reviews, amazing streams, authentic well thought-out videos with excellent editing skills. You should be soaring to 100,000K and the number 1 gaming channel before the end of the year!
Great video! I've download the Moonlight Peaks demo and omggg, the choke hold it has on me is astounding! I cannot wait for this game to drop! I'm also super excited for Paralives! I've been supporting that game since it was announced and I can't believe we are getting closer to an early access release
I love this new show! Great content as always Sarah Can't wait to see how these games develop, I'm the most excited for Moonlight Peaks
I’ve been waiting for Puffpals for YEARS literally. I think I joined their kickstarter over a year ago
I HATE THESE VIDEOS.....BECAUSE THEY'RE SO GOOD AND I'M IMPATIENT😭😭😭 Seriously though, great video!! I typically like to keep up on upcoming games (my Steam wish list is FULL of upcoming games lol) and I had only heard of Puff Pals on your list! Thank you for sharing, I'm sooooo looking forward to Light No Fire!!!
So excited for Witchbrook, Moonlight Peaks, inZOI, Puffpals which I backed on Kickstarter, and Light No Fire.
Moonlight Peaks, Loftia and Puffpalls in one video?! heck yess!
Loftia looks so cute
Wow! Loving all your new shows. You content never disappoints.
I could of swore that Moonlight Peaks tweeted something about join a new team to hopefully get the game out in 2025, not 2026. but i could be wrong. have been watching a few of these games for a year to a year and a half. I really enjoyed the most recent demo of Moonlight Peaks. very excited for that one and Under a Rock.
I backed the Loftia kickstarter and I'm so excited for when the alpha tests start!!! I've never participated in alpha testing so I'm looking forward to the new experience. Puffpals also looks super cute!!! Honestly I just need more hours in my day to keep up with all the good games.
I'm SO EXCITED for Witchbrook and Loftia!!!! I can't wait for launch!
Ok...but can we all talk about how good the 5am new horizons song is.....like its 1 of the best of all time in the series
I just wanted to thank you for your positivity with these games; I'm more than happy to wait as long as needed for these games to be ready. The longer the wait, the more likely they'll be amazing games!
omg i love this video format! I've been watching ur channel since it was all about coral island and to watch ur growth has been so rewarding, I would like to reccommend chef rpg for the next video in this series; the dev is doing everything mostly on his own but he's doing an amazing job and regularly records his progress on his yt channel!
I supported Loftia on Kickstarter and I'm so ready for it! All the other ones too 😊
They all look amazing and some I have not heard of until now. I just wonder how many of these will be playable on the Switch (not Inzoi for sure😢) as I only play games in that platform.
Edit: Sarah, I just found out about this upcoming game called Mirthwood. Have you seen it? I think it totally should be in this list 😬
Loftia and Moonlight Peaks have pland for a Switch release. I'm also hopeful with the Switch 2 coming out, we'll have more games due to upgraded hardware!
@alexyscloran5188 I hope you're right about the Switch 2 🙏
Nintendo stated that the successor to the Nintendo Switch will be announced "within the fiscal year so it's definitely coming, we just don't have any details yet.
All of these look soooo sooo good!! Tysm for sharing them!
I'm pretty excited about everything on this list.. I've had a chance to play the alpha of Puffpals Island Skies and it is ADORABLE!
Infinity nikki is what im looking forward to. They are play testing the English version soon.
Light No Fire is insane! Also looking forward to PuffPals, Under A Rock, Farm Folks (only if not fully online) and Moonlight Peaks.
I think this list is very well done, thank you for your work! :)
If I could add one ambitious cozy title I'd add Fantasy Life to the list.
I have over 300 hours on the DS version and from what they have mentioned the next one seems to be even bigger.
I'm a bit nervous if the quality is going to hold up but if it is then this title is going to be a lot, at least for the cozy standards.
I'm feeling more and more the animal crossing effect in these games, some of which go way beyond animal crossing. A lot of gamers have felt that the game has become a bit dehumanised. In fact, games like Faefarm, Disney Dreamlight Valley, etc. whose graphics are far from the most modern, bring a gentleness that animal crossing no longer has. Nintendo is going to have to rethink the game's mechanics, dialogue, graphics, theme, soundtracks and so on, because Animal Crossing is largely wearing itself out.
Light no Fire just went on my list. It looks incredible! But for a cozy fix I really hope the team with Puff Pals will make it through...cause that looks so cute!!!
I’m looking forward to Coral Island on switch as well with dokev And Farm folks whatever consoles, they may release on the PlayStation or Nintendo‘s next console
I’m SO excited for loftia and puff pals island skies 😍
Witchbrook is just whimsical.
DokeV and PuffPals are my most anticipated ones here, i really cant wait for them
Very good list of upcoming games! I also recommend Trade Tales. I love that game
8:05 - ✨😍✨ Oh, God! I got so in love! SO CUTE!!! Remembered me the first Digimon Adventures
15:06 well it’s not a kickstarter but it is fundraising. which i think is totally fair if the game isn’t released, they have no sales to support the developments
💗 Inzoi, paralives, puffpuff and loftia all my style and on my mind 💗
I really love these series! Sunny Side Up and Cherry on Top are great and informative ways to get the latest news on cosy games. Additionally, listening to the sweet and calming voice of the beautiful Sarah Sunstone
Woah these are looking very good. Thanks for the video!
Omg, These are amazing games! So excited to play
Great list of very ambitious games! I'm really enjoying your new line up! Cherry on the Top really takes the cake
Loftia sounds and looks amazing. Subscribed to their mail list, to hopefully learn when they open beta testing
so excited for loftia!!
inZOI is giving uncanny valley to me
Unfortunately the art style for quite a few of these just aren't doing anything for me, but hopefully the stories in them will be engaging.
I hope a lot of these games aren''t too much for the developers, and some of the features sound like they could be post-release updates.
Do we still think Witchbrook is happening? Has there been any word from anyone involved suggesting that it's still being developed? I'd love to believe it will exist, but it feels like it's time to give up on that one. 🙁 I'm the most excited for Under a Rock. BTW I love the inzoi kitty ❤
Yeah I haven’t heard anything for so long now, at this point i think they just ran out of funds and on hiatus.
I think Witchbrook never gonna happen, sadly. :/
Several of these look good but I'm most excited about Light no Fire because I trust Hello Games (at this point) to be able to pull it off. I'm not really into the Sims clones but I do prefer my character to not look 8yrs old, like they do in many of these games. I wish more cozy games let you look like you were actually old enough to own a house and have a job.
Witchbrook looks amazing! Everything Chucklefish does is fantastic.
Looking forward to so many!! I just wanted to add that I did find the music really loud though, like it was almost covering your voice this time, maybe I am the only one lol
that’s sooo weird bcz I can barely hear any music when I watch 😅🥲
I'm concerned whether some of the games will keep their promise...well I guess that what makes them ambitious. I do genuinely hope they all work out though especially the ones that have backing from kickstarters ahhhh
I'm most excited for ParaLives. The team does usually manage expectations of players especially with their roadmap so I'm quite optimistic that they will come thru with their game
So many impressive looking games! I hope they all manage to pull off all the features they're promising, because that's a win-win for us gamers! Thank you for yet another great video!!
Can't wait for Loftia & Light No Fire ❤
Loftia looks so amazing
I remember when Moonlight Peaks was first announced and everyone gave it some much shit for looking like Animal Crossing... as if multiple other farming games don't already look nearly identical lol I'm super excited for it and think it's very unique.
Waiting for Loftia! I found Dreamlight valley, Fae Farm and Hokko Life so very delusional so I really hope in this new one
Light No Fire! 😊😊😊 im sooooo excited for that game! I love NMS so i have faith that HelloGames will deliver.
I've been looking forward to Paralives for a few years simply b/c of the build mode. Light No Fire just topped that. I love No Man's Sky so if they can pull off Light No Fire, that game may compete with Horizon Zero Dawn/Horizon Forbidden West as my favorite. I also see a bunch of upcoming cozy games in your review that i want to wishlist as well :)
i've been waiting for loftia for ages!
im korean game lover. I amazingly surprised that you found a lot my style game. Thank u for your sharing based on your good choices.
you should check out the trailer for "The Bustling World" i'm very hyped for it, it looks so damn ambitious, to be honest to ambitious, i feel like they are biting of way to much for them to handle but i'm still hyped, if they deliver even 1/3 of what they promise it's gonna be great.
You should totally check out Europa, i just played the free demo on the switch and its adorable!
Light no fire looks gooood
More top 10 videos please! ❤
Puffpals is cute and omg under a rock
to think the nomans sky team is making a new game! fascinating
Im so excited for dokev, but sometimes seems like vaporwave
Farm Folks already had a kickstarter, before it was sold to Crytivo… so I’m not sure what’s up with the second one. How do I know? I backed them on the first round ☹️ it was listed as Farm Folks by Overgrown. And it looked completely different.
All of them seem very ambitious
Moonlight Peaks sounds fun and its one step removed from what I really want. A farming sim thats just straight up horror. I want a game that is to farming sims what Dredge is to fishing.
We're close. I can feel it.
I play the puff play alpha and I love it 🥰
Not me checking Moonlight Peaks Twitter acct everyday
I thought Fluffy Pals and Cozy Caravan was the same game lol
Dokev is an awesome promise but it was delayed due to their dev team current focus on Black Desert :(
DokeV looks amazing, wow
Thank you for the new content
My wallet hurts already
Never heard of some of these, but they look fascinating! What a great list! (Edit: DokeV especially looks incredible)
I adore the animals in Under a Rock! 🥹 i also backed loftia on Kickstarter I hope we can see more about it soon.
Needs more Crimson Hollow.
I honestly don't have much hope in Witchbrook. It's been in development for like 7-8 years, with almost no new information. They kind of shot themselves in the foot by announcing the game so soon and then letting it sit in limbo for years and years.
I was expecting Trade Tales on the list.
Wow moonlight peaks is literally the anti V rising.
If they're both in the same universe it would be incredibly interesting lol
at this point...we should just spend our life in game ☠
I'm also really looking forwad to sunnyside been on my radar for 3 years now
Moonlight Peaks....I def want that. But too bad its PC only?....I won't be able to play it. With my crappy setup....
Surprised you didn't include Crimson Desert since you included Light No Fire lol
Man I was so hyped for paralives but it’s only on PC 😭
Thanks for the video though, very informative :)
Waiting for you to feature Trade Tales
DokeV is something that I am incredibly interested in
1:11 that's literally animal crossing new horizon
Those two last ones are not very talked about so I'm confused why they have the top tier spot?
Also I would've wanted to see:
Chef rpg
Life Bye you
Vivaland
On this list aswell.
