@@Kualinar normally i won't do this because it stress me out even though it's just the game and you can do the way you want (i'm not a horror type because i easily get scared of it and get anxious, especially in movies lol) but in rare cases if i want a good story i'll make a haunted house and in one of my household i created one, it keeps me busy🤣🤣👍 (i made an interesting story, kind of a money challenge but then the sims dies so i added half of the stuff in the lot challenge ever since then, thankfully i was done with the money challenge when half of my sims died mostly from old age) now i need something so you have to start it all over again with furnitures that's actually broken🤭🤭

Island spirits is actually the most useful lot trait. Communing with the spirits will always give you a random positive moodlet. They last 12-24 hours. The effects are full energy, full hunger and increased skill and all need gains. The challenging lot traits are cat and dog hangout. The stray cats and dogs will wake your sims up and make the place smelly so they are uncomfortable.
@@Kualinar I don't think there's a way to forget about the poop... But I can deal with that, the starving animals are a bridge too far for me though. I want to adopt and give a better home to all of them and I can't.

Tip for goblins - the stuff gets broken every night only if all of sims on the lot are asleep - so to avoid never ending circle of fixing and breaking, you need to make sure that one of your sims is awake 😁 With the lightning, I remember I saw a reel once explaining that if sim has been electrocuted few times in a row, they gain a superpowers for a limited ammount of time. 🙏💙

simple living is the most realistic one when it comes to cooking food and i live for it it will just remind me of The Sims 2 when you eventually run out of food🤭🤭
Pretty sure “power surplus” means you have power stored - so of course you either have surplus or you don’t and there’s no power. You need to go into your bill settings and set it to always store rather than autosell, and you need to click on the off grid appliances and choose to disconnect them so they don’t draw power.
You don't need a full greenhouse for your plants! The game counts them as sheltered even if there is just a roof over them. I usually put a glass roof over the pots and some columns on each side.
Communing with those spirits give a happy moodlet and keep hunger (no need to eat) or energy (no need to sleep) need to the max for a time. Always commune, never banish them. Just extend the roof over the plants to make them sheltered. Zero cost as roofs are free. Need more wind turbines as solar panels don't generate electricity during the night. When you have mould, you need to fix it ASAP !
Hello Satch, lovely to meet you! The island Spirits can help your Sims fill needs sometimes if you commune with them I think its called Island Abundance and there is another one called Island Luck and a third is Island Sustinance. Communing with Island Spirits is more beneficial than banishing them! Just some friendly info! You're Awesome!
I started playing the sims 4 on what I call "chaos mode" which is all this crazy (lot challenges etc) turned on and I don't save my game until the end of my stream.😂 It's been so much fun to play but I really enjoyed watching, very entertaining this was great! Thank you.😂
The bring the lighting is from seasons, occurs when a sim is stroked with lighting twice and survives. It only occurs if they are stricken the second time after an hour, twice in an hour will kill them.

Hint: don't use DLC unlockers. They give you exactly what they advertise. Piracy is never allowed, and it's bad, so don't ever use DLC unlockers such as qiwi's. Hope this helps you know what to stay away from!
It's not quite that bad. You only really need a couple of packs to try this. The creepy crawlies and Off-the-Grid are base game (the latter surprised me). Most of the others come from the two apartment-based packs; City Living (Grody, Gremlins, Cursed, Filthy, Earthquakes) & For Rent (Maintenance, Mold). The farm-to-fridge simple living is Cottage Living, along with the foxes. Eco Lifestyle adds the recycling (and likely improves Off-the-Grid). The volcano and the spirits are from Island Living. Seasons adds an extra difficulty level, especially with the gardening. Without that, it's always sunshine and rainbows outside. The prairie grass needs Horse Ranch, but that didn't really play much of a part. Obviously, for Daddy Vladdy, you need the Vampires game pack.

OK, so, the off-the grid system works in a bit of a confusing way. EVEN IF an appliance says it is functional off the grid it WILL STILL use power/water if you have a power/water surplus to use. You need to actively TURN OFF utility usage for EACH APPLIANCE to make them not consume water/power that you are generating. This option ONLY appears if you CURRENTLY HAVE a surplus of water/power. It has not been glitched in your let's plays. It has been working as intended, it's just intended to work in a dumb way. Your appliances drain all of the power you generate as soon as you start to generate it, and then you have none again. That's what has been happening.
I like to do this with r 2 r , 24 challenge, 1 tile start, haunted house and optional occult baby/100 baby challenge added. I even have one game where I added all jobs/aspirations too. (Obviously I take aging off or use the items which give immortality.) Sometimes I play with Strangerville or Evergreen Harbour and/or making all furniture aswell. xx
The "every lot challenge challenge" is probably one of the hardest ones I've seen. I watched James Turner do this a while back and it was rough. Good luck, Satch!

Usually you have to get the cure from the inhabitants of the Jungle Adventure world, in exchange for bone dust, but I think you can also buy the cure via a computer. Also, it wouldn't be cheating to use the phone as the off-the-grid trait, makes it so that the phones needs power aswell. Edit. the bring the lightning interaction is a pseudo-superpower Sims gets if they get hit by the lightning twice in a row without dying. It's from Seasons.
Creepy Crawlies is not listed as being from a pack (00:13) - though it may be a bug itself. That suggests you must be able to get rid of them without jungle adventure. I assumed the bees were related to Seasons but apparently not.
2 months late but FYI for anyone using off the grid always always always turn the power and water surplus to “store” rather than “sell” using the bills information tab on the phone or mailbox 😊
16:21 I don't think the phones work on an off the grid lot. I read somewhere that if you wanted you sims to stop playing games or using their phone, you switch the lot to off the grid.
Straight after the video, I went to pick up the pile of mold from the bathroom floor, that is, changing the floor protection made out of kitty litter. How lovely... 🙃
When you have "off the grid" turned on, the fridge uses electricity. You need to click on the fridge and turn off utilities. I'm not sure if the TV uses electricity when not being used (knowing EA it's a definite possibility).
I'm playing my eXtreme 100 Baby Challenge in which I started with all lot challenges activated. It was hard for a while but now, she's released a lot of them for now.

Vlad is supposed to be there you set it to be on a Vampire Nexus. isn't the black stuff on her skin mold? I've done this challenge but admit that I don't have For Rent so I don't have the mold issue in my game. But I've done this and survived, it was *hard* but managed it so I'm thinking maybe the mold must make it even harder.
I think the mold is definitely the riskiest of all these, because of the death risks from not just the mold, but also setting it on fire. The tooltip did say that keeping bathroom appliances clean avoids mold... but the other challenges are making that harder.
After I got the vampire pack, I may have had one to two vampires come in and do that. Ever since then none. It never happens. I’ve even invited them inside when they’re standing at the door just to see if they would and no they just watch TV or play the computer and leave around 2am.
If you’re playing the same save file, it might be the reason. Simmer youtubers usually have vampires come and bite them all the time because it’s a new save file every time

16:21 I don't think the phones work on an off the grid lot. I read somewhere that if you wanted you sims to stop playing games or using their phone, you switch the lot to off the grid.

When you have "off the grid" turned on, the fridge uses electricity. You need to click on the fridge and turn off utilities. I'm not sure if the TV uses electricity when not being used (knowing EA it's a definite possibility).

I've done this challenge but admit that I don't have For Rent so I don't have the mold issue in my game. But I've done this and survived, it was *hard* but managed it so I'm thinking maybe the mold must make it even harder.
I think the mold is definitely the riskiest of all these, because of the death risks from not just the mold, but also setting it on fire.
The tooltip did say that keeping bathroom appliances clean avoids mold... but the other challenges are making that harder.

After I got the vampire pack, I may have had one to two vampires come in and do that. Ever since then none. It never happens. I’ve even invited them inside when they’re standing at the door just to see if they would and no they just watch TV or play the computer and leave around 2am.
If you’re playing the same save file, it might be the reason. Simmer youtubers usually have vampires come and bite them all the time because it’s a new save file every time
