I couldnt decide between the Glock 19, the P10c, and the PPQ so i bought all three of them. Ive put a few hundred rounds through each of them and I still dont have a favorite.
Same here And I have 2 walther p99 gen 1 that fit my hand like a glove and the rest is perfect !!! But some guys will break there necks to go out and get one of the new fangled pistols that come out new every year just because it's new !!!
Guys if you get a CZ P10C make sure you get the 2019 version or newer! The older ones with the ambi release are very stiff and I blame that for the pistol not being even more popular! The updated ones are perfect! LOVE MINE. Also have the P-07
I just got my first CZ 2 weeks ago. CZ 75 P-01 and I'm absolutely in love with it! I can't imagine the P10 not being a fantastic gun as well. CZ makes high end extremely reliable stuff according to almost all accounts.
Sootch00, I am only at the 13:35 section of the video and I have to make a comment. I was watching the guns being fired and I noticed that neither of these pistols possess the really nice feature that come on some Glocks. What I am referring to is that much loved feature where the Glock (some, not all) throws hot brass at your forehead to keep that part of you warm on a cold day at the range. Another great video. Thank you, sir.
One thing you guys have to keep in mind, Sootch is an endorser not a reviewer. Whatever he gets paid to endorse or product he's given to endorse will always be the best thing on the market
Looks like CZ actually took a very serious look at what handgun enthusiast want on their pistols and addressed each individual criteria and then some. I have watched every review on UA-cam so far and my grin keeps getting bigger. Great review Sootch!
Interesting how much the trigger pull seems to fluctuate. Over on the Military Arms Channel, I think the P10 was pulling over 5 lbs and he preferred the PPQ trigger. Also the PPQ sights are easily removable without a press, and adjustable for wind age. I threw some Trijicon HD's on mine in like 5 minutes. Regardless, if street price is slightly over $400 for the CZ I may have to add it to the carry rotation along with my PPQ!
Grego1776 yes sr I couldn't agree more just picked up a PPQ from a guy on arms list for $350 and the gun is brand new honestly he said his reasons for selling the PPQ was the CZ P10 had a better trigger and was going to pick one up with the money he got from me in addition I ask him how long he had the PPQ for he said 2 years and it was only used for his Center counsel gun I was like oh man I should have got the CZ just to make him feel better but I was laughing my keister off all the way to the range best armslist score of my lifetime
Just got a new subscriber. Great review. Our CZ rep. brought this in to our shop and I got to mess with it. Before he left, I told him to order me one. I was sold with the first magazine. Great CZ quality. I think the LE market will take notice (especially with the MSRP being lower than the Blue Label prices for the G17/19). I think once CZ puts this thing in the hands of some LE pros and puts it on their LE Only list, they will have a great following in the LE community.
Another expected excellent review comparison. Personally I love both gun manufacturers. Hence, I own a Walther PDP full size and CZ P10F. I am very pleased, both are outstanding modern combat handguns. 💪🏼😎🇺🇲
I've got $300 stashed away for a rainy "Gun shopping" day, more then half way there. keeping my eye closely on lgs for when they have them in stock. high value must have imo. glock competitor, with apex style trigger, good looks, reliable based on all reviews I've seen but only time will truly tell and price is well under a new glock 19. thanks for the time put into this review sootch. Happy new year brother!!
oh yeah...and the low bore axis cz is known for and has a leg up on, over most if not all striker fired pistols. why they didn't go with the same inverted rail system as the rest of there pistols? I don't know, maybe something to do with the engineering or being polymer?
dwayne murphy i have a PPQ and I carry it, its not as light as it is crisp. avg trigger pull but really easy to shoot well. besides, carry in a holster and practice good technique keeping your finger off during your draw and there's no issue with ANY gun
Ejection height and distance is superb on the CZ. It's just my OCD fussiness since I had a Glock regularly eject rounds straight up and hit the gun or occasionally to the left. Ain't nobody got time for that.
I have owned my PPQ M2 Navy since early 2013 and freaking love it! With that said I find it funny that there are so many loyalists/Fan Boys that seem to believe that the PPQ is "the best" and always will be. Most of these guys/gals have probably never even shot a Sig P320, HK VP9, or a CZ P10C but yet state that the PPQ has to be better. To be honest I have shot the Sig P320, HK VP9 and many other striker fired handguns (Not the CZ P10C yet) and I like the PPQ better. Key words "I like". Just because I like it better and you like it better does not make it better. I shoot my PPQ better than my friend's G19 and he shoots his G19 Gen4 better than my PPQ (Due to more practice with said handguns I'm sure). Anyway both the PPQ and CZ P10C are fine quality striker fired handguns. Both are great Firearm manufacturers.
To me, my ideal gun would be the CZ P10C slide with the PPQ's frame or grip. I love the lower bore axis and slide of the P10C with the trigger, ergonomics of the grip, and slide release of the PPQ. I have larger hands and more experience with the PPQ (owned one much longer than my CZ P10F) so I am a little more biased with the PPQ's trigger and grip. You can't really go wrong with either gun though.
Since I have not shot the PPQ I can't speak to the trigger, but the TP9SA does have an amazing trigger. I first bought a Glock back in 1987, when I was a police officer, but no longer own one. I now have an XDM, Creed, FNS9c, Shield .I doubt that I will ever buy another Glock, although I shot quite well with the 23 that I traded for the XDM 3.8 .40. I felt the XDM trigger and ergonomics were superior to the Glock 23. Strictly my opinion, however.
Excellent review, guys! I've had a CZ 75-P01 for years, and consider it one of the finest guns ever made. The quality is superb and was deadly accurate out of the box. I have little doubt that the 10C will be of equal quality.
I love both gun brands equally, great guns. My p10f is my go-to farm gun, but just by your choice of wording, you guys really trashed the ppq and tried to make it sound nice. Well done.
just wanted to thank you for an honest review on the cz and your comment on who cares if it's a glock killer own both and a ppq is right on never limit yourself to any one anything own and experience them all
@@fit4duty724 Yes you can, with Swiss precision. The CZ beats the PPQ all day every day though, lower bore axis, better trigger especially with the HBI drop in, and more reliable. CZ makes the best bang for your buck guns out there.
@@fit4duty724 Haven't driven enough cars to judge that claim, but you certainly can in firearms - not necessarily saying p10c is, don't have enough experience with it yet to make any real claim. I bought a p10c because it has been discontinued and was $350, so my expectations are not huge. I've fired some range ppqs (I know those are not a fair representation of a gun) and really liked it as well. If I can find a good price, I'll probably buy it too.
Was at SHOT show last week at the LVMPD range, talking to the CZ rep, the p10 has a double trigger bar, one on each side, making it have that smooth pull and break.
Great review as always Sootch, it's always nice to see someone give an opinion, and not beat you over the head with it. I'm a huge PPQ fan. I love the gun, but would love to do a side by side like this. Thanks for the great review, fair analysis, all the hard work, the hours of entertainment, and education. Keep up the great work man! Take care.
Sootch, I have to agree. I would love to see a wide range comparison between the VP9, PPQ, P-10c, M&P 2.0, XD and the Glock 19. Get all the best known competitors to the 19 and give 'em a workout. Great video as always!
mozzberg I agree. That size pistol is really gaining popularity with the versatility it offers and some of the most popular striker fired guns are in that realm of size.
I love .my CZ 75, best shooting gun I own. But for my cc, I'll not have anything but striker fired. That did lead my to the PPQ 9 & 45. They are great guns, too, but I'm nails with that 1911 grip. It'll be nice to finally be able to carry a CZ as my cc piece.
Lots people talk about how good the Glock is. Well, Glock's reliability is a proven fact, however, there're a lot of great striker guns out there now that out do Glocks. M&P, H&K, Walther, Springfield XD's and many more. They all look much better than Glock, better triggers, better sights, much much more ergonamic and they're just as reliable as Glocks. CZ P10C had some issues but they're all been taken care of and P10C is now a serious contender. Now, give me one reason why I should buy a G19 and spend right off the bat, $100 for non-plastic sights, $100 for Apex trigger to make it more functional! As for the grip, there's no hope.
My CZ P-10C magazine release was hard to depress too, so I removed it and smoothed out the top surface of the bar that makes contact with the horizontal cut of the magazine. Now, it is really easy to depress on both sides to release the magazines.
I don’t own a PPQ, but I EDC my PPS M2. Last weekend I was at my LGS getting a couple boxes of ammo and they had the P10C in the case. I asked to check it out and I have to say it seems like a pretty sweet pistol. And even through the craziness that’s been going on, they’re selling it for under five Bens.
All the gun stores had empty shelves where I am but all at once a bunch if nice pistols showed up. There was a P-10C for $458 so I snatched it up. Same place got a beautiful P-07 in while I had a Glock 30 on layaway. I almost switched em I've wanted one for awhile and CZs seem to be pretty rare these days.
I own 4 varieties of the Ppq including the Q5 I am so happy that CZ came out with such a gun. Maybe Glock will get off it's lazy ass and offer something more than retreads of the past.
Jordan Ownbey Love the P320, and I actually prefer it over the PPQ though I know the PPQ really is amazing. I did, however, have my lgs put an order in for a new CZ P10 today. Can't wait till it comes!
Jordan Ownbey this! I'm in love with my P320. Was playing with my dad's CCP last night, comparing, and while I freaking love the Walther grip, (and the Sig grip is awesome too) the trigger on the thing was just weird to me. The CCP is a cool as hell gun because the recoil spring and trigger are light as all hell. I tried all my dad's other guns, M&Ps, Glocks, XDs, Berettas, Rugers (also awesome), but after all that, picking up my Sig just felt like coming home. That said, I am intrigued by the P10c, and my dad already ordered one, so I'm looking forward to checking it out. absolutely loving my Sig in the meantime though.
Shotgun Zombie ) P320 is a sweet shooting gun I own one! I think it shoots better than my G19 G43 And S&W Shield ! my next one is a PPQ and then a VP9 then maybe a CZ 01 or 07 or 10......
Jordan Ownbey I Love my edc P320 compact 9mm! I will never get rid of it. but the CZ p10c is looking really awesome! There's Always a trade off isn't there?... the P320 is obviously completely modular unlike any other handgun on the market. Sig Sauer broke the mold. Also the Sig P320 aftermarket for sights, accessories etc. is better simply because it's been out longer. The CZ p10c has a lower bore axis, will be a little less expensive (at least for the handgun itself) and because it's dedicated to a single caliber will probably be "locked up tighter" than the P320. trigger comparison... who knows? I think the P320 trigger is fantastic! Either way I can't wait to get my hands on a CZ p10c and check it out for myself! The Beretta APX is looking interesting as well! Far less reviews and info on it out there though!
Jeff Zabriskie as far as I know, we're both still eagerly waiting. XD then again, it's been a couple weeks since I've seen my folks, so I'll go see em this weekend and find out.
Thank you….very good comparison. Hoping a follow up review of P10 after a year or 2 years would be nice….to see how the material quality consistency, customer satisfaction and after sales service.
I'm impressed with the CZ, even though I think sootch is a bought & paid for reviewer. I can't wait to test it out--I didn't see that much of a difference in the muzzle flip between them even as the reviewers' mentioning it as a negative for the PPQ. As for the trigger, I'm going to wait until I can pull the CZ's trigger; I owe the PPQ that much, it truly is a great trigger on the Walther.
^^^ THIS!!! I saw NO descernable difference in muzzle flip. Then pointing at the undercut in the ppq trigger guard while saying it isn't there! It's NEW!!! Gotta sell it!!!
Thanks bro !! I bought the Walther and love it...however my last visit to Cabela I handled the CZ p10c and I have to say ...that is my next acquisition
Wayne I got my Walther PPQ M2 late in 2019 and it is totally excellent. I had narrowed my selection down to three..PPQ, CZ P10C & Smith & Wesson M & P compact 4". The Walther & CZ had the best triggers however the CZ's grip texture hurt my hand so much I laid the gun down at the range after 4 rounds..it hurt that much. Finished up shooting and mentioned that to the sales person and he said some owners needed to sand the points down on the CZ's grip texture. Otherwise it was a fine shooting gun. My wife as I did preferred the Walther overall though.
@@azniteforce304 it felt like needles stabbing into my hand. Sorry I don't have rough hands as I worked in healthcare for 33 years much of that time in surgical gloves. I hope your "buttercup" comment was sarcasm as not everyone is Rambo..lol.
I've had my eye on a sp 01 for a while now, but no one in a 70 mile radius has one in stock for me to handle. But the p10c might take its place as my next purchase! Gotta get a cz, hearing too many good things about them!
Neil Garner I got a SP01 Shadow when I got the chance 2 years ago and can't be happier about it. Best shooting gun I've tried without a post trigger job. I don't think I'll ever sell it. Total war machine.
RayGunz I must say I love the 1911! bought a range officer operator in 9mm last week! I like the EMP also but was out of my price range at the time. first 9mm 1911 so I'm having a hell of a time trying to decide which magazines to buy. might take a while but I just might try to get the p10c and the sp 01.
RayGunz only seen the sp 01 in pictures, but it's a beautiful gun! most gun stores around me don't sell cz, the one's that do only have the p07 in stock. when I get it I think I'm gonna try my hand at making a UA-cam video
Have you actually shot the P10-C? I can't seem to find it anywhere. While the PPQ is certainly a sweet shooter, I'm not prepared to declare it the winner without even shooting the P10.
Cabela"s has the CZ P10C listed online for $479.99, so its pretty affordable. Awesome video by the way. I did buy a Walther PPQ, but wouldn't mind getting one of those P10C's.
Sootch, here in the people's republic of New Jersey we have to choose our handguns very carefully as it is a HUGE pain the ass to get a permit each time you want to buy a handgun. I've been looking as CZ as my next purchase as I already have Glock 19, Walther PPQ M2, S&W M&P, XD, VP9, P226 etc. Never had a CZ before but was leaning towards picking one up as my next purchase. Now i am torn between the p10c and the 75 compact. Perhaps i'll just have to get both. Thank you for another awesome vid. I love my PPQ trigger so i am dying to feel the new CZ trigger to see how much better it feels.
I've sold some other guns in order to buy this , when it's available. The only thing I see that I wish CZ should have done with the P-10 is a higher trigger undercut. Also, you forgot to mention the loaded chamber indicator on this gun. It looks as though it has one. Another excellent video from you Sootch!!
did you even watch the video? he even explains why the P10 has better trigger - no return spring and striker safety moved back so it disengages later ...
It does sound like a recipe for success. I had to do a bit of polishing on my PPQ to smooth the grit on takeup, but the return spring pressure is still there obviously. I do think that the return spring makes for faster follow up shots than the Glock style trigger where it goes dead after a shot until the slide cycles.
beestingz1 wouldnt return spring mean you theoretically can press teh trigger before the cycle is complete and end up with striker not being primed ? The glock style ensures you will be able to press trigger again only after cycle was complete an gun is ready to fire again - yeah i know that the odds of anyone being able to cycle trigger again befoer gun cycles is basically nonexistant but then again seeing guys like Miculek emptying magazines under 3 seconds ...
Jack Ammo he's not big on the ppq , he said the vp 9 was better even when the rest of the shooting world said NOT! Seems like every year there's a must have super pistol that comes out .
Great review Don as always. I hope that you revisit the CZ P10 C after you have a couple thousand rounds through it and have carried it for a few months. I myself like to wait and see how a gun holds up in the long run. Thank you for the continued firearm education.
JOEY Simps And sootch00 said that the Walther hurts his knuckle on his grip , I had that problem at first with mine , but after I tried the large back strap, problem fix . And I own the 40 S&W, the one that a lot of guys and gals can't handle, because they think it has to much muzzle flip. Yes at first the flip will surprise ya ,but after practice a lot with it , kinda grows on ya , and now after a year , I've rise above the big surprise flip , and can really hold it down and get double taps and one to the head , I'm glade I stayed with the Walther PPQ - M2 .40 S&W. I m proud to one of the very few that stuck with the .40 S&W. I guess because of the challenge, because it's true , the .40 S&W in the Walther is not easy , it will shock ya at first , total different animal than it's brother the PPQ in 9mm.
Oh yes I agree, I'm going to buy the CZ P-10 in the .40 S&W. Well I hope they bring the .40 S&W model out in the P-10 by spring. But if not , I will buy it in the 9mm . If anything, just to add too my collection, I'm sure I will enjoy it just like everyone else, I really think CZ have probably made one of the best striker fire pistol for the year of 2017 , I think it will be the big talk at shot show this year.
Your right , I'm really enjoying the competition , I think it will keep price down in the market place . And that makes good for us gun people, good times and I do believe the best of gun times , hopefully for the next 8 years .
The CZ P10C shown in the video seems to be an exception since most other people are saying it has a 5.5-6lb trigger pull. You should review one that is at a store and not a T and E gun.
Argh. Very tempting. I love CZ. I own an 82, a 75B, a 75B Omega, and a PCR. However, I'm still holding out for the Stryk-B. Looking forward to you, Mike, Tim, etc... getting ahold of one to see how it stacks up.
"Well how'd they shoot guys!!" LMAO!! The PPQ is an outstanding gun and I'm sure the CZ is as well...which is why I'm adding it to my short list. Can never have too many!
I think that's a winner , time will tell . You surprise me saying don't go off of one person's opinion . Good for you . You do outstanding videos , don't know if I've ever seen a bad one from you. Just wish we saw more feedback . When asking questions about something. Thanks.
??? Question are you saying the best gun has the lightest trigger I don't agree You want some take up for less chances of Error Walther has always been underrated. Are you sponsered by CZ this week?
people in other reviews are hesitant to say P10C is better because they go from memory and dont want angry fanboys screaming at them that its impossible to make better factory trigger than PPQ Sootch has advantage here that he can compare the guns -adn did so twice now - side by side. So which do you trust more - a guy that is remembering how PPQ trigger feels or guy that SHOWS you why PPQs trigger is just slightly worse thanks to that return spring Walther for some strange reason used for it.
Sootch- Don't misunderstand me. I enjoy your videos, appreciate them, and I'm a subscriber. But you really must watch out for your improper clearing procedures. Check out 21:05 in the video. If that magazine had had a round in it you would have had a ND. Always drop the magazine first before retracting the slide!
He checked inside the chamber if it was unloaded and probably checked before turning the camera on, and only does that so dumbshits dont complain about him not checking, i see nothing wrong there go back and see that neon orange follower clear as day
A valid comparison is stock grips, NO Talon tape ! Stock out of the box comparisons. And now the comparison should be between PDP Compact 4" vs the CZ P-10 C. Good presentations 👍☮️
I have fired a couple of cz, a few glocks, a few sigs, and some 1911's. I can't speak on the ppq, though I have dry fired one. I think the best pistol for a beginner is a glock, great aftermarket, easier to field strip, proven by Leo and military, and it's the multi-tool of pistol s. Glock does everything you want a pistol to do, and does it well. However after you get comfortable with your g19/23/21/26, immediately go to the gun store and get 2 or 3 cz's before supply can't meet demand! Looking forward to handling the p10c.
If the CZ is what all the reviewers say it is, it would make more sense to get a P10C over a Glock and use the money on ammo. Coming from CZs track record it will be as reliable or maybe undiscernable worse than a glock. Aftermarker holster - glock holsters. Sights - same as old Cz's. Glock wins on aftermarket mags (i think).
Finally CZ is becoming mainstream. They've been a secret among experts for many years and now they've come for Glock's crown. This is it, they've even made the P10C to fit into Glock holsters! LOL good luck Glock ♤♢♧
I'm skeptical of the CZ trigger being better until I can actually find one to look at. The pre travel doesn't mean anything to me because I don't let all the slack out between shots, even rapid fire. But if the CZ trigger is that good, maybe I'll get one. It looks cheap to me, but the price is low anyway. Looks like a gun that should have come out in the 80's. Even a Glock looks more modern to my eye than the P10c.
Ivan Ayala i heard the canik has a 3.8 lb trigger butttt it has a decocker...i think a decocker on a s/a is retarded...they must have just not wanted to make a new slide...hope he does the comparison though...should be cool
Ivan Ayala thanks for the info...i didnt know that...how do you like it?...james yeager seems to love them and i love the price but the price scares me too...lol
Sootch, I think your channel is the best and I highly respect your opinion. I just got a production gun yesterday and went to the range. What a disappointment. The trigger is good but not great. It seemed like just another striker-firer pistol. The mag release was really stiff. I wonder if all the guys that got T&E guns from CZ got the Sunday Specials for the reviews. Something strange is going on. Keep up the great video's!!!
It is a duty gun, not everyone will be the same, some will have better triggers than others. Shoot it, and let it wear in, it will smooth out quite a bit.
Sorry, but a lot of reviewers have these pistols from the manufacturers prior to sale. Manufacturers "tune" those pistols (or cherry pick samples) to give reviewers a great experience. Don't expect your copy to be quite as "perfect".
Mark Price Like the "5.5lb trigger" in my G43 that's still 8lbs+ after polishing and 750 rounds? Lol. Time will tell the real story. Unfortunately by then they'll already have got your money.
I have had the privilege of shooting both of these firearms and I still prefer the PPQ the ergonomics and the trigger are outstanding and the grip pattern is great for my hands the CZ is a great gun but I still prefer the PPQ
I couldnt decide between the Glock 19, the P10c, and the PPQ so i bought all three of them. Ive put a few hundred rounds through each of them and I still dont have a favorite.
Wish I had those type of problems
I'm curious to know which one you like the best one whole year later.
I have all 3 as well. All great...no favorite. Differences are minuscule and subject to personal preference.

I don't know, maybe something to do with the engineering or being polymer?
i don't care how good they are. if you own either, buy 1000rnds of 9mm instead of the other one and practice
DWings agreed!
Brilliant point. I've got the PPQ, shoot it like a champ, 1-2 inch groups at 25 yards, and it never fails. Why would I need anything else?
beestingz1 , do you think the ppq trigger is to light to carry?
dwayne murphy i have a PPQ and I carry it, its not as light as it is crisp. avg trigger pull but really easy to shoot well. besides, carry in a holster and practice good technique keeping your finger off during your draw and there's no issue with ANY gun
Might Be, Might be, when Adrenaline is added. 3 lbs... 1/10 inch reset. Great as a range toy though.
I was going back and forth between the two. You helped me greatly. THANKS Sootch !!!!!
tRAY, CZ
I love a Walther PPQ!
If Walther has fanatic fanboys then I would hate to read what you have to say about Glock.
Great comparison. Good job bring Robbie alongside for his comments - especially as a lefty.
Just another excellent review of two fine pistols. Thanks very much for all the work you put into making them.
Canik TP9 Elite vs CZ P10C might be a good mash-up.
OutdoorEnthusiast88 agreed. The TP9 is hard to beat and has a better trigger than the ppq.
n300zx931 bull shit!!!!!!
Oh, and a TP9SA. Very nice gun, but awfully big for concealed carry.
Dan Alsup he said the Elite. That is being marketed as a compact gun. It's roughly the same size as a G19...that's hardly "awfully big".
Great review sootch. My wife has the ppq which is a fantastic gun. I recently handled a p10c and fell in love. I'm in the process of acquiring one.
Well done.
review as usual, is 10+++. CZ looks like my next gun, thanks.
just wanted to thank you for an honest review on the cz and your comment on who cares if it's a glock killer own both and a ppq is right on never limit yourself to any one anything own and experience them all
I have no doubt that the CZ is a good gun but I'm going with the Kraut gun :)
can't beat German engineering in guns or cars. sorry!!!!
It's Czech, not German.
Why?
The CZ has superior Czechnology.
Was at SHOT show last week at the LVMPD range, talking to the CZ rep, the p10 has a double trigger bar, one on each side, making it have that smooth pull and break.
Steyr M9A1 vs CZ P10C Please. Great reviews, keep 'em coming. Thanks.
Take care.
Sootch, how about a group comparison between all of these "Glock 19-sized" pistols?
Sounds like a great idea. We'll see what we can do, Thanks Brother~
The PPQ did look great. I'm going to get it back to the range more often : )
I own several CZs and they are exceptional all the way around ,triggers on CZs have always been fantastic and CZ is setting the bar again
Now, it is really easy to depress on both sides to release the magazines.
great review, my ppq needs to watch it's ass lol
Those CZs are extremely accurate! Great video sootch!
I have the old Walther p99 40sw it's always been reliable.
Why should Glock. Its still one of the most chosen pistols and many like it as it is.
@@Gieszkanne you have a point. I’m pissed because I own all the blue label Glocks I want and there is nothing new
@@RevGunn-jq3cq I want your problems! Here is something totally different X ) ua-cam.com/video/Eu_scmqY9H4/v-deo.html
Bout time for a NEW video like this 1!!
Id love a comparison between the cz and the sig 320
Jordan Ownbey
I Love my edc P320 compact 9mm!
The CZ p10c has a lower bore axis, will be a little less expensive (at least for the handgun itself)
and because it's dedicated to a single caliber will probably be "locked up tighter" than the P320.
trigger comparison...
@Chad K Sounds like MAC in a nutshell.
P10C vs VP9, please? :)
You have to be one of if not the best reviewer on you tube - kudo's and thanks
I've had my eye on a sp 01 for a while now, but no one in a 70 mile radius has one in stock for me to handle. But the p10c might take its place as my next purchase! Gotta get a cz, hearing too many good things about them!
RayGunz I can't wait to get mine!
I like the EMP also but was out of my price range at the time. first 9mm 1911 so I'm having a hell of a time trying to decide which magazines to buy. might take a while but I just might try to get the p10c and the sp 01.
xithappens nice! I hear nothing but good things! the more comments I hear like yours the more I want one!
RayGunz only seen the sp 01 in pictures, but it's a beautiful gun! most gun stores around me don't sell cz, the one's that do only have the p07 in stock. when I get it I think I'm gonna try my hand at making a UA-cam video
CZ has hit a home run with the P10c. A lot of great new designs showing up these days, competition is always good for the consumer.
I'd take the PPQ
Total Truth A
Total Truth same
All day
Have you actually shot the P10-C? I can't seem to find it anywhere. While the PPQ is certainly a sweet shooter, I'm not prepared to declare it the winner without even shooting the P10.
Absolutly.
Cabela"s has the CZ P10C listed online for $479.99, so its pretty affordable. Awesome video by the way. I did buy a Walther PPQ, but wouldn't mind getting one of those P10C's.
I'll stick with my VP9 thank you.
I like that the Walther has a slider slide.
Sootch why did you remove your accidental discharge videos? They were good lessons to keep up
I love that you show the bloopers! Keep up the good work fellas.
I've heard this before and will hear it again. VP9, P320 now this. Someone trying to compete with the PPQ trigger. It's a lost cause..
did you even watch the video? he even explains why the P10 has better trigger - no return spring and striker safety moved back so it disengages later ...
It does sound like a recipe for success. I had to do a bit of polishing on my PPQ to smooth the grit on takeup, but the return spring pressure is still there obviously. I do think that the return spring makes for faster follow up shots than the Glock style trigger where it goes dead after a shot until the slide cycles.
beestingz1
wouldnt return spring mean you theoretically can press teh trigger before the cycle is complete and end up with striker not being primed ? The glock style ensures you will be able to press trigger again only after cycle was complete an gun is ready to fire again - yeah i know that the odds of anyone being able to cycle trigger again befoer gun cycles is basically nonexistant but then again seeing guys like Miculek emptying magazines under 3 seconds ...
Jack Ammo he's not big on the ppq , he said the vp 9 was better even when the rest of the shooting world said NOT! Seems like every year there's a must have super pistol that comes out .
Jack Ammo I've owned all the guns you mentioned, including the ppq. And I prefer the p10c trigger over all of them.
Great review Don as always. I hope that you revisit the CZ P10 C after you have a couple thousand rounds through it and have carried it for a few months. I myself like to wait and see how a gun holds up in the long run. Thank you for the continued firearm education.
both great guns. I don't need talon grips on my walther. I have plenty of grip, but everyone is different
I love it! I shoot the Walther well, n a Glock. But if that cz trigger is that much better. I need to try that out
Oh yes I agree, I'm going to buy the CZ P-10 in the .40 S&W.
I'm sure it will. Pistols just keep getting better
Your right , I'm really enjoying the competition , I think it will keep price down in the market place .
And that makes good for us gun people, good times and I do believe the best of gun times , hopefully for the next 8 years .
I am amazed each time I hear comments from viewers, I guess I do not take this stuff that seriously. Thanks for the content.
You can have too light a trigger on a defensive weapon. The take up on the Walther provides a margin of safety.
1911 fans may differ with you on this subject. It's all about one's trigger discipline.
False.
Both guns have trigger safeties.
If a gun does not have a trigger safety, then your point would have merit.
The CZ P10C shown in the video seems to be an exception since most other people are saying it has a 5.5-6lb trigger pull. You should review one that is at a store and not a T and E gun.
i have been watching videos and researching these Czs all day now. i was going to purchase an M&P 2.0 but i think this CZ P10c just replaced it
I love how Robbie just makes the guns look like they have no recoil.
I'm sold on the tactical version. Can't wait!
Argh. Very tempting. I love CZ. I own an 82, a 75B, a 75B Omega, and a PCR. However, I'm still holding out for the Stryk-B. Looking forward to you, Mike, Tim, etc... getting ahold of one to see how it stacks up.
Love them both...it appears the CZ has smoother take up but the Walther has a crisper break and shorter reset.
Put the Springco kit in the PPQ drops the trigger to 2.25 lbs sweeeeet.
Nope, he never said that 🤡
I liked the PPQ over the CZ and GLOCK
If it had to be one only I would pick the CZ thank you for the video.
This is how you make a comparison video! Anything else is just a review
Next stop: CZ P10C vs. HK VP9!
Great comparrison and a lot of good info. Videos like this are such a great tool when researching the next firearm purchase. Thanks for posting this!
cz p10c trigger better than my ppq m2?! .... Sootch, I think we should see other ppl...
(still gonna get that cz tho)
people in other reviews are hesitant to say P10C is better because they go from memory and dont want angry fanboys screaming at them that its impossible to make better factory trigger than PPQ
Sootch has advantage here that he can compare the guns -adn did so twice now - side by side. So which do you trust more - a guy that is remembering how PPQ trigger feels or guy that SHOWS you why PPQs trigger is just slightly worse thanks to that return spring Walther for some strange reason used for it.
Triggers are subjective overall, but having owned both,I do prefer the P10C trigger.
I give the better trigger to the CZ as well.
Agree much better trigger on the CZ
Those Central Europeans sure do know how to make great guns.
He checked inside the chamber if it was unloaded and probably checked before turning the camera on, and only does that so dumbshits dont complain about him not checking, i see nothing wrong there go back and see that neon orange follower clear as day
I don’t understand why people are so into safety in videos. So dumb. It’s not like he’s gonna shoot you through the screen you dumbass
A valid comparison is stock grips, NO Talon tape ! Stock out of the box comparisons. And now the comparison should be between PDP Compact 4" vs the CZ P-10 C. Good presentations 👍☮️
but I thought Glock 19 was the best pistol ever!!!!?? Perfection!!
Indeed. Also Walther only makes crap these days.
Fresh Fowler uhhhh NO!!! The only advantage the g19 has is its size! Just about every major brand makes a better pistol!
Fresh Fowler if glock was "perfection" you wouldn't see people throwing hundreds if not thousands of dollars into them 😂😂
Neil Garner You couldn't tell I was being very sarcastic?
Grego1776 True!
These vids are excellent. Thank you, Sootch.
I'm impressed by how flat shooting it appears to be in video. I can only imagine how nicely a full size version is going to shoot.
Can you please do a comparison video between the CZ P10C and the Canik TP9 Elite since they are the two newest pistols to the market. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!
Ivan Ayala i heard the canik has a 3.8 lb trigger butttt it has a decocker...i think a decocker on a s/a is retarded...they must have just not wanted to make a new slide...hope he does the comparison though...should be cool
Steve Van Horn the newest pistol Canik makes is the TP9SF Elite. I own one. It has no decocker. They got rid of it with the original SF.
Ivan Ayala thanks for the info...i didnt know that...how do you like it?...james yeager seems to love them and i love the price but the price scares me too...lol
Ivan Ayala Are you having extraction issues with the gun as some people have complained about?
Mark Price - do you have proof the samples received special treatment by the manufacturers?
Mark Price Like the "5.5lb trigger" in my G43 that's still 8lbs+ after polishing and 750 rounds? Lol. Time will tell the real story. Unfortunately by then they'll already have got your money.
Proof isn't needed. Let's face it. That's just the way it is. Mark Price has a valid point. Reminds me of tester colognes and demo knives.
Mark Price I agree, read my comment on my experience at a gun show two weeks ago
I have had the privilege of shooting both of these firearms and I still prefer the PPQ the ergonomics and the trigger are outstanding and the grip pattern is great for my hands the CZ is a great gun but I still prefer the PPQ
