In this video, 1A Auto shows you how to replace a broken or damaged license plate light. This video applies to the Ford Focus, years 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06 and 07.
This repair was done on a 2005 Ford Focus and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:

Thanks for this. A tip for anyone else who needs it: If you put the spring loaded side in first it is much easier to install the harness.

I love this car!!! Everything is so easy on it! Except if you have to do the rear wheel bearings. I've had my 2005 Ford focus for a few months now and it runs great! And it has more power than a corolla! Lol!

Important tip: Don't do it when it's freezing outside. Plastic gets brittle when cold.

My Ford Focus 2000 has a whole different license plate lens size it’s more oval and smaller.
I’ve been suffering searching for the lens it’s a Kona edition Ford Focus Hatchback ZX3. 2000.
Which side was positive and which side is negative?
