I've just completed school 2 today. After hundreds of tries, and 3 completions that didn't count (never been so pissed at game code!), I started with the final rail and got it after a handful of attempts. Spent a couple days losing my mind over that challenge.
Ever look at an Achievement and think: I'm OK without this one

When I saw the first vid I was like “nah forget it” but eventually I tried it and I got it after 2 days. It’s a lot of trial and error but eventually you’ll get it with enough practice

Wanted to say thanks for the videos they have been a great help. I'm pleased to say I got the "Got There" achievement just now and I'm a better player for struggling through the ups and down. You got my sub!
For venice beach, I noticed that delaying leveling out as long as possible with the transfer button on the first gap makes it more consistent to trigger the gap.
I ended up noticing that everytime I got quite far into the roof it would trigger, but most of the time when I was landing quite near the edge all I would get is the “vent to roof gap” but when I got a good launch up there to get more into the roof I would get it

It took me 900 tries to get the bullring get there. Pain in the ass. Finally got the trophy. Need vacation now.
A few of them kicked me in the balls a few hundred trys but bullring plat gap bruised them until i wondered what would be left man it was rough.
Im sitting 2 days now on the last one: bullring. At the moment not doable for me. The last up Rail and gap freaks me out 🥺😱. I will keep on trying . Congrats to you man 👍🏻🙌🏻

I don’t think I will ever complete this game. Still it is a blast and great that they nailed everything after the disaster of that last remaster
I got the trophy/achievement a couple days ago. In school 2, I found it easier if you start on the right rail ( your 4th one) , then manual/grind your way back up to the beginning and get the last 3 gaps.

I finally completed them all and I feel whole. Bullring was complete Hell. I used a different variation than yours but I feel so relieved.

I grinded my way through all the gaps first, I started with all the Hangar Gaps because I remembered most of them.
Then I went in order level by on free skate, finishing up with Skater Heaven which had some pain in the arse gaps.
Then I moved onto finishing the Get There's which is touch better being a bit familiar the gaps than I previously might have. And I just finished off the Hard get there's from THPS1 with the helpful guides from your video,
the mall was frustrating with a bunch of times where I got the all 3 gaps but bailed on the final landing.
Now I've got 8 left on the THPS 2 having already done 2 of the easier ones (Hangar and Chopper Drop)

Been cruising through these with only Roswell and Bullring taking me a little while. Thought I was about finished, but turns out I cannot do the Skate Heaven one to save my life. Easily the hardest one for me holy shit

@@ContraIV Keep at it dude you'll get there. Anytime I had problems I just practiced the part I was struggling with on it's own until I felt comfortable with it
I actually found mall easy. I heard it was really hard which scared me but I had no issues with it really
@@bassettgames8076 mall is difficult because it's a really long line. The 2nd Gap in mall is all about timing. If you don't jump late, you will never get the escalator gap, the 1st and 3rd one are easy. Once you get the hang of traveling around using only manuals and grinds it's easy.
Roswell is only hard because of the high deck gap, once you can do that consistently you'll get it in one go. It's not like any of them are actually hard. It's more about if this is the time the game will let you get it. Some gaps don't trigger everytime, like downhill jam. And other times your balance meter will just wonk out and there is nothing you can do but start over. And then other times the gap has some rediculous trigger that you have to spend so much time trying to figure out how to even get it. The challenges are more luck based than anything.
For Intersectional on Skate Heaven, I was having a lot of problems. Turned my Air, Hangtime, Ollie, and Speed down by four points each and it made it way easier!

Omg thank you for these I was on the verge of breaking my controller on School 2, fell off the bottom of the last rail after 4 hours at it 😭😭😭 but got it a few hours later! 4 more to go but the hardest ones are all done now!

After so many hard levels it’s nice to get one on your second try like I did on Philadelphia. So satisfying.
I've done it 6 times and it still hasn't completed for me. Everything else is triggering but i can't get philly.
Skatestreet I started with surfin USA, then manualed over the wall, then manualed to the top of the half pipe which I jumped to grind on, and jumped over to the top ledge of the bowl for the extension transfer and then went all the way around for circle the pool.

This and level 100 (unless they add THPS3 as DLC) will be the 2 achievements i will never get. I get painfully close on so many of these, but just don’t have the skill or patience!

For the School II hard Get There, last Roll Call rail, I find it easiest to go up, wall plant straight by the lockers just to the left of the tunnel, and go back down, doesn't require any hard turns and easier to keep momentum/manual balance since you're at the end of a pretty massive combo.
After 11 hours and a blister on my right thumb I finally got the bullring!

Pretty sure heavy traffic is glitched. It doesn't complete for many people (myself included)

Most difficult is definitely Bullring.
Most annoying for me was Skate Heaven. The last gap for that chain just never counted. I'd land perfectly time and time again but the last gap wouldn't proc

I'm at level 62. It takes forever on each level now.
On Marseille, it's worth noting that you need to jump over the dumpster lengthwise. It counts as a different gap if you jump over the other way

Anybody have tips on the venice beach hard get there I can get onto the roof and hop the gap pretty regularly but once i get to the part where you have to manual I have to much speed and either jump way over the tables fall of them or just bail
just finished THPS1 get theres (took me 3 hours), Roswell was a pain in the ass but I'm sure when i start THPS2 tomorrow that will be worse
Tip: Do them in reverse order and start with skater heaven. That way, it gets easier instead of harder

Railing kills is a Pain in the Ass but I did it in a Different way and Same goes for Bullring being a Pain in my Ass but I did it the way u did it, and Intersectional is the last one I did for the Got there Trophy
Oh btw if any of you are having trouble with the bullring one when you are about to get off the wire to the ramp do an early manual go up the ramp and come back down with ONLY a revert no manual. Makes life much easier

If you knock down the basketball hoop on School 2, you can use it to save your manual

Anyone have any tips for jumping the wires at Bullring? The way Maka shows looks pretty easy but I can't consistently jump the wires I keep going too fast.
I got the bullring challenge done with a completely different set of gaps, did they change it or something? I dont mean the order of your line i mean i got the challenge done without hitting the top lightfixture rail but i did like two other gaps that you didnt do. Weird

I love how you said NYC was easy but Veince took you two hours, NYC took me nearly an hour because of gaps being so busted but i got Venice in under 2 minutes lmao

Bullring didn't work for me the same way it did for you. I couldnt get up to the stands gap when i jumped from the line. I had to jump up there at the end
I usually try to kill two birds with one stone on these so I do them with single session mode cause you get more XP and money than just trying to get them in free skate. So knowing it will take forever to get the get theres by the time I'm done I should be kinda close to level 100. Already at level 75 thanks to making the switch from free skate to single session.
Completely unrelated but I wish they'd add in the moon gravity cheat. That was always so much fun to mess around with.
Do you have to do all the gaps in combo or can you do them individually if needed

That banana jump is the only thing keeping me from this achievement. Seriously considering just giving up.

You can do the banana jump first, it's much easier. Then do Rail Plat, Nailin the Rail, and end in Up to the Stands.
Nameless Dread I got it eventually. I did try doing it the way you described but I couldn’t get nailin the rail that way. After ~700 attempts I landed the banana jump and I didn’t choke it. Almost. But I got it lol.
These are difficult but I’m determined to do them.
Is your manual supposed to randomly drop at random times? Was the original THPS2 like that?
On bullring how do you get enough speed off the grind to Manuel on a quarter to Ollie and reach the banana? I can’t do it.
Jump a few times between the grinds. Always hold down X/A when manualing to maintain speed. It's very hard not because it requires so much skill but because reaching the banana is based mostly on luck.

There's really something to this whole knowing you can do something thing and actually doing it lol. Got all pro skater 1 get there's, been working on school 2 for hours. I've gotten close more times than I can count. Anyone notice sometimes the game is finicky about manuals or reverts? Sometimes I swear I input a trick and don't pull it off. Anyway just this trophy and level 100 left. I'll "get there"
Hang in there mate. I also have manuals and reverts failing sometimes but I think its just the timing and speed. You’ll have to input controls very fast and sometimes your input becomes sloppy. Im gonna complete this game platinum even if it takes forever. I enjoy it very much aside from the rage moments .

I have the bullring left and just can't get it...i don't have enough pop to get to the the yellow rail after dropping down into the quarter pipe...ughhhhhh
A lot of people complaining about bullring. Rightly so looking at the vid. I've got it ticked off the list without doing what's in this video. Thinking there must be a much easier way, as I ain't done no ridiculous lines like that

Yeah happened to me to, and the one time he didn't hit me, my balance went out right before the grind. I had a similar issue in NYC and Downtown. Those cab drivers show up out of nowhere sometimes.
The Venice one is so broken, either I don’t get the first gap, the manual gap, the combo randomly ends while manualing or my manual immediately drops randomly.
I’ve done the Skate Heaven get-there THREE TIMES and it won’t give me the challenge. I have video proof that I did all four of the correct gaps, yet it WILL NOT give me the challenge. Any suggestions?

Make sure you ride it on the right through the middle, and exit on the left or it'll end.
Bullring is 100% luck based, you have to be lucky to make sure your manual or grind do not give out.

austin samuel I don’t understand how other people do it, my manual either dies out by the time I get to the Nailing the Rail gap, or I don’t have enough speed to grind the rail. I got to the rail and was right about to jump up and get the last gap only for my manual to drop and completely screw me over.
austin samuel Dont understand how my manual is maxed out but 99% of the time it drops immediately. In Underground, it felt like you could easily hold a manual for 30 seconds before it stops dropping randomly. Like sometimes in this game I can manual for 30 seconds and then most of the time it just drops/gives out immediately.

I havent got round to playing this yet, but I can't remember reverts being in the originals. Weren't they introduced in thps3?
Yup, they were added to this game to give the opportunity for better combos. There is a choice to take it out and go back to the legacy controls if you want.
For gap master trophy gold I used mods. So can we use mods for this ?
The College 2 is insane. The manual aways crashes. I thing the last gring should be possible to get from down to up. It is pathetic to grind it twice to get it.
Try the JSkeleton's route, it requires less manual time.

I keep gettin VENT 2 ROOF Gap,
and Ramp 2 roof is needed, but it never pops, in VENICE
Use the shadow on the ramp as a guide on where to jump from. It’s pretty consistent that way
Don’t hit the tranny button if you’re doing that. Just vert it and hold grind.
This is acutally my favorite challenge ever and I would pay money for a hard get there DLC :D No new maps, just a few more gap challenges on existing maps obviously. Found myself being bored yesterday and did the School 2 , Roswell and Bullring hard get theres again.
School II is breaking me. I just keep losing momentum in the final stretch

Many, many times I bailed my manual just before the last rail.
Just like skating in real life, I picked myself back up and dusted the dirt off.
Try the school II get there backwards. I found it to be easier that way.

Dome22180 I’m sure you can find a UA-cam video showing this method. Once you’ve grind what would normally be the last rail,manual,take a left and grind the rail up to the first rail and back down.
I did an Xp count and by my calculations doing all challenges available will only get me to somewhere under 80... This grind to 100 is gonna suck without any other high Xp additions to the game :( I'm lvl 67 btw

I have all the gaps done as well as all gap combos but VV either wants people to grind the game or maybe they'll have an expansion or something. Tony hawk 3 and 4 perhaps?
