    Hi MHellrazor,
To determine which speakers fit a car we not only look at the speaker size, but also the exact dimensions, such as mounting height, cutout diameter, depth, and more.
The Alpine REF speakers stick out too far, (mounting height problem). Now, there are creative ways to overcome the mounting height problem and make these speakers fit, but we only recommend you do that if you are an experienced installer.
    I hope that helps.

This receiver does not have a way interface navigation app from a phone. It was designed to work with the NVE-P1 navigation module. We no longer offer it, but details on it can be found here:

@dfsvsfdsf This model has been discontinued for awhile and is no longer available. It did not offer an auxiliary audio input out of the box, but you could use an optional adapter (KCA-121B) to convert the Ai-Net port on the back into a pair of female RCA audio inputs. Feel free to call for additional assistance: 800.315.0030--Crutchfield

I have a 1995 Oldsmobile Aurora and I choose to go with this head unit and I want all my components to match but for some reason your website keeps saying the 63/4 component speakers from Alpine (REF edition) will not fit but I can fit 6 3/4 speakers. Why??/

The Bluetooth in this package does not allow you to stream music. It is only for phone call functions. I wish I had different news for you there. Feel free to call an advisor for help finding a receiver that meets your needs: www.crutchfield.com/I-rYTVc000/ContactUs.aspx

yes it does have a high pass filter and it can be selected between front and back, but other than that i dont see anything attractive about the deck, not for that price anyways.

when I insert the blackbird I get a black screen on the navigation screen.

+BAWLS2894 It may be that the "video lock out" has been engaged. For safety and legal reasons, the IVA-W505 features a video lock-out feature to prevent the viewing of a video source while the vehicle is in motion. To watch a
video source, the vehicle must be parked with the ignition in the ACC or ON position. The vehicle's parking brake must be engaged, disengaged, and engaged again while the foot brake is held in. Assuming the Alpine wiring harness is connected properly to all the factory leads, I would try this to see if you can get the BlackBird to display on the stereo's screen.Hope that helps!--Crutchfield

      +Crutchfield It didn't work :(
When I eject the black bird it appears to be getting a charge too so I don't think it can be falty connection.

The Alpine IVA-W505 did not come with built-in Bluetooth. Alpine did make an optional add-on Bluetooth module but, much like the stereo itself, it has since been discontinued and is no longer available: bit.ly/2rweEAM For additional assistance and personalized recommendations, feel free to contact us directly: bit.ly/2jBGHPp Hope that helps.--Crutchfield

In order to connect your phone wirelessly via Bluetooth to the INA-W505 unit, you'd need to purchase and connect Alpine's KCE-400BT and KWE-460E adapters; which unfortunately were discontinued in 2013.
You may want to contact Alpine's support directly to see if you can still purchase that. You can check out their support site for more details: www.alpine-usa.com/support
