Man I thought I was the only one to chop this way. This is the first UA-cam video I've seen showing how to chop using the program tab. This is how I've always chopped in Maschine.

How do you truncate/discard from this Mode once you've selected a spot in the sample

@@SoundsAndGear yes can confirm when I press process and get to the select function menu while in program mode, the functions “discard” “delete” “time stretch” “copy” “but reduce” “stereo to mono” are all greyed out and unable to be toggled.
Also the cursor is unusable in that menu, when I’m in that menu I have to use the touch screen. Even if I would just love to Nav with the cursor. Small issue but kind of annoying.
Is there anyway to keep the work I’ve already done in this mode and move it into the trim without having to redo the chopping… I’ve even tried to extract the sample in program mode and that didn’t truncate it. I’m trying to discard parts of the song I am not using.

Ahh yes, they have different options depending on which mode you’re in
