Bro u are the goat with these MPC vids, but I was wondering why u don't use the SP404 as much. Is it not as capable? Or is it just not the flavor u prefer?
@@AveMcree hey I've been trying to find out have you done a research on the analog Heat I'm trying to find you have a video on that or what do you think about that
Ave showing us how music ther… I meant.. the harmonic style of 18th century European music works with samples. 😂 u know how I kinda feel about music theory
Theory can get deeper than Rameau… It also doesn’t help if you 1. Can’t define what you are going for 2. Have no one to communicate that with for collabs… what i am saying is music can be a difficult or simple as you want it to be. Gatekeepers can fight us😂
True that! If I started naming every producer and musician who never even learned how to read music these kids would freak tf out. But thanks to the internet all these things are available.
Changing the plug-in for the baseline, even if on another track it won’t affect the plug-in you laid down for the melody? When I change the plug-in it changes on all tracks not just track 4
But F# minor is a chord... Not a single note. You kept referring to it but then played single notes... That confused me a little. Understand theory very much in depth too... But I'm just trying to figure out what you meant to or were trying to say.
What should I do next?

@@TheTonyTitan Nah the SP 404 MK2 is nasty. Especially with the latest update. I should revisit it soon.
Ave what instrument I need too make a west coast type of beat on the Mpc I’m in standalone mode for the moment until I get another laptop
@@thahomie773 I’d look into anything Moog related. Dr. Dre used the Mini Moog, Model D, and CS-80 for a lot of his bangers.
How bout mpc with syntakt beats🤔
Yo Ave this is probably the most informative video on beat making with mpc yet. Thanks homie!
Bruh. Every time you say "ummmm" the music hit a lil different. I love it. Thanks for the vibes.

Isnt it good to finish on the root note at the end of a progression that doesn't start with the root? Sounds good to me either way. Maybe more F#!

Where did you get the piano chords from that you were playing?
These are stock

Scale/key?
He means the sample itself is in the key of F# minor, individual notes are part of the F# minor scale but each note is not obviously F#
Nobody going to talk about dat smoke detector in the background , 101
All I can hear is the clap! I am trying to listen to the rest but it's hard :(
