  • If you have kids you most likely have had the talk with your spouse about possibly purchasing a play set. This conversation has come up in my house multiple times.
This talk always steered towards the obvious fact that these playlets were not only expensive, but very weak structurally. We have had many friends and family that had them, and they never seem to hold up as the kids become more comfortable and aggressive with the structure.
This is why we ultimately decided to build one, well aware of the fact that this was not a cheaper option.
Hope you enjoy this video documenting the progress.

I love the use of screws + wood joinery and glue. That thing will last through a flipping hurricane. So cool.

I used cedar from my local Home Depot. My kids helped me stain it, really makes it pop.

I can’t imagine how much all that wood cost in this economy. 😢

Especially since it looks like cedar. That must’ve cost even more than that festool domino! 😂

So what started all of this? Or was this neighbor not liked by everyone else?
Also here’s a fun idea for the Fourth of July that I’m sure that your kids will love…
Super Sonic Pingpong balls fired out of a pipe that’s been sealed with packing tape and had all of the air out of them.
Actually a vortex cannon would be perfect for the Fourth of July. Just let all of your neighbors(except crazy lady)know as well as call your local police and fire departments non emergency phone numbers and let them know of what your doing for the Fourth of July, so that way they know not to send any officers to that area if complaints come in from your neighbor. And if she doesn’t stop calling them. They can literally have her arrested for endangering the lives of other people who might actually need their help by waist the police officer’s time and resources.
