I like to think that even after that finally blow that absolutely mutilated Knuckles, he wasn’t actually dead instantly and actually used the last of his strength to keep singing until the end of the song when he finally gave out.

Eggman straight up getting fused into his own badniks to create an abomination is both the most terrifying yet coolest idea ever. The quality of the artwork here is so freaking incredible too. I can't get enough of how beautiful Hidden Palace looks here!

the fact that knuckles has the greatest chance to survive against exe head on is impressive alone. if had Eggman and Tails worked together after(somehow) they escaped from exe, they would have the greatest chance of survival thanks to their knowledge

This actually makes me feel bad for Knuckles.
The hyper emeralds, his only hope to take down the demon, ARE RIGHT THERE, yet, it is impossible for him to reach them, he can try ofcourse, he will die regardless, but even for someone as though as he, fear eventually takes its place.

After helping mobians all around angel island and surviving a few encounters with the *monster* knuckles returns to guard the chaos emeralds and the master emerald (I assume that’s what they are), the only things that still hold power in a world ruled by a god, only to find a few familiar faces waiting for him, realizing the situation, the echidna has one *final* stand against this.. THESE monsters he once called friends, if he was gonna go out it’d be with honor, the monster grinned as he realized knuckles arrogant self was gonna try to fight again, he always did, and it would be what got him killed, the monster would enjoy slaughtering this echidna, making them all extinct, but.. after seeing all his friends die, this echidna had the one thing keeping people alive in this world, hope, faith for survival, confidence, an ego he had long before, long before the world came to shit, his only goal now would be to end this monster or atleast end the suffering of his pears, knuckles was smarter than before, knuckles was more determined than before, knowing this is his only chance, he absorbs the Master Emerald, knuckles red attire, faded into an *emerald* green, he takes one look at the monsters grinning face before beginning his assault, it was clear he was forcing a smile, a smile behind a deeply unsatisfied mosnter, he knew the monster knew of his plan and that he couldn’t stop it, the echidna lifts his foot off the ground leaving only a trail of dust before he lets his fist talk.

Honestly yeah, Knuckles would be the last to survive. Robotnik is smart, but he sure as hell ain’t fast (disregarding S3&K), and besides, he knows sonic won’t kill him. Tails simply isn’t experienced enough to fight back, but knuckles, he’s strong willed, fast, powerful, and since this seems to be set on Angel Island, he knows the terrain best
But it depends on which Eggman we are talking about, because if it’s modern Eggman sonic is cooked, but even if it’s classic Eggman he will still put up a great fight even if it means he dies
I love that knuckles vocals sounds like he’s actually singing for his life before meeting his inevitable demise

I am pretty sure the crystal exe is now the canon one, Since after Yaisy the hyena (Sonic.exe's creator) did the common thing for a famous person (Becoming a predator) his rights to use his character were revoked and given to a different person.

I absolutely LOVE how the design for the EXE's are leaning towards a Grimeware (A exe btw) sort of look. Especially Tails and his weird growth in his eye sockets. Gross, but cool!

I can recognize several parts of it, from the Eggrobo main body to one of it's arms being from the Flying Battery Mini Boss!
I would like to see this actually be fully animated. But at the same time, it all depends on the motivation. If you do plan to do so, go at your own pace. Don't let anyone pressure you into doing it, and if they do, either tell them or ignore them. It's your project, you do it on your own time. Either way, I support you on whatever you do with it. Just know you'll be supported.

Would be cool if there would be 2 endings:
Good ending:Knuckles actually uses master emeralds to go super form and survives
Bad ending:He doesn't used master emerald and dies
the worst part about this is that the good ending is nearly impossible to achieve, Sonic exe is blocking his way making it so that if he tries to get there he will be murdered no matter what. And even if he somehow passes exe they’ll have to deal with NOT ONLY a god, but also his mutilated friends. it’s a lose-lose situation no matter what. He has 3 choices:
*A:* Hide behind the crystal and hope for the best. We know how that ended 💀
*B:* Try avoiding Exe’s attacks and make it to the emerald. Which is nearly impossible to do with him in the way. And even if he does, Exe will probably slowly drain him of all his power, prolonging his fate
*C:* Try to escape the cavern, will probably end up being trapped and brutally murdered.
So yeah knuckles is screwed
