Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on Itch.io.
The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn't approve of him. It's up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes?
Friday Night Funkin' is an ongoing project that will continue to receive updates, bug fixes and new content. A full version of the game is currently in development, having been successfully funded via a Kickstarter campaign. Check the changelog here for information on the latest updates. The game is also open source to allow users to mod or simply look through its assets.

I wanted to patch up some gaps and add GF, so I decided to make a V2 of my lyrics! Honestly, I prefer this take, because it feels more clear as to who’s singing what. Also BF will just be singing his parts normally, as it would take me *WAY* too long to think of lyrics for him.
For Act 3 Girlfriend's lyrics, they sound kind of familiar... almost similar to another All Stars with lyrics...
I will admit, I did take some inspiration from that cover.

I imagine when BF hits Mr Puzzles with the mic, it breaks his screen and causes him to fall away from the background, and thus angering him. As such, in act 4, he’d have a broken screen.

I think that for Act 3 of this video, the voices of the Creative Control song by SMG4 would have been good, especially the part of: "Are you ready for trouble? got ya binge watching. you're stuck with mr.puzzles" and the rest until the drop part of the song.
I was thinking that Act 2 would be Zero as Omega and Waluigi, Francis, and maybe SMG3 as the trio, but of course, it’s Puzzlevision! The use of the Puzzlevision villains is fantastic. Amazing cover, it’s awesome 🙏🔥✨
