Deleted scenes that I would have kept in the movie: 1. The scene with the scientists' experiment. In the deleted scene it was clarified that the team was in danger of being fired and that this experiment was related to the "failed" experiment from the first movie when Norman interfered with it. That at least explained the rush to do the experiment. Otherwise I always wondered about the stupidity of that moment that the scientists didn't check to see if a man had fallen in there. 2. Brock's conversation with Gwen. After getting fired from the Daily Bugle, Brock goes to the one person he thinks loves him. He goes to Gwen's house, but instead of moral help, she breaks up with him, saying she never even loved him and their entire relationship was nothing of substance. When Brock starts to lose his temper Captain Stacy comes in and threatens to arrest Brock. This scene, in addition to the scene in the movie where Brock sees Peter and Gwen later that evening, would clearly give Brock the motivation to kill Peter. After seeing a man lose his job, his reputation, and his girlfriend all in one day, I can believe he would want to take Peter down with his bare hands. 3. Sandman and Spider-Man's final fight. Sandman almost killed Spider-Man, but then his daughter showed up. She says there's no need to go on with all this because her disease is incurable. It would have added tragedy and emotion to the final forgiveness, but it probably would have added to the stupidity, it's unlikely a little girl could climb a skyscraper in the police cordoned off streets. 4. The scene of Harry's transition to the dark side. In the movie, he simply enters a special chamber and inhales a special gas without any motivation. But there was a cut scene where Harry talks to his father. Harry at first, just like in the second movie where the conversation ends in a confrontation, he starts to defend Peter and blame his father for the murders, but Norman manages to manipulate the arguments and their dialog ends in a hug. After that I could understand why Harry agreed to become the new goblin and take revenge on Peter. 5. The union of sandman and Venom. I can't tell you how dumb that scene is in the movie. Sandman meets Venom in an alleyway, whom he sees for the first time in his life, and agrees to team up with him. In the deleted scene before this, it shows Sandman turning into a giant sandcastle that his daughter starts playing with. This scene would show Flint's love for his daughter and explain why he agreed to team up with Venom, after Spider-Man had thwarted his plans several times - namely to help find the money to save his daughter. 6. The scene with the doctor. In the movie at first it is not clear why Sandman immediately after escaping from prison, knowing nothing about his daughter's illness, starts robbing banks. In the cut scene, the Sandman finds Dr. Phil Wallace and starts threatening him to help his daughter. I don't know if it's true, but according to speculation the doctor has demanded a huge sum of money to treat his daughter and that's why Flint starts robbing banks. That would have made a lot more sense. 7. A short scene where Flint learns to use his powers. I always wondered as a child why some people who had just acquired powers learned to use them so quickly and without problems. This scene wouldn't have changed the movie much, but it would have shown that it wasn't that easy and it took Flint a little while to learn how to use his powers. Plus I think it would be nice to keep some of the creepy moments, like the screamer Venom.
Plus 2 things I'd replace. Harry comes to Peter's aid not because "his father killed himself", but because he forgave Peter and came to his friend's aid first of all. The second moment is the scene with Uncle Ben's murder, I would rather the Sandman really killed Uncle Ben but felt remorse than this stupid moment from the movie "I killed Uncle Ben because my hand shook...".
Sam Raimi is a horror film director, and honestly that makes him the perfect writer for venom. Just Imagine what he could have done with carnage,Dr connors still has that small piece.
Yeah, makes me wonder what he could've done with someone like electro as well, considering how he was handled in Spider-Man TNAS, which was originally a continuation of the first film@@samwilsoncaptainamerica233
The fact that it sorta redeems raimi to some degree. That the ideas he had were very much on par with 1 and 2. Had this movie been untouched by outer sources. It would've surpassed 2 and it would've made for an amazing movie.
1:18 if I'm not mistaken, the original idea was for venom and sandman to kidnap Gwen. And then MJ pep talks harry into helping peter in the final fight
Thank you for putting all of this together! it's pretty cool to see all the things that were unfortunately removed for better or worse... A long making of the movie documentary that has all of these scene's in high quality with people who worked on it talking about it years later is something i most definitely would buy.
I think Venom's death scene is very impressive. It is very faithful to the original historical research. According to the setting of the symbiote before Null appeared, Originally, the symbiote kills its host when it and its host are in danger.
Even though from what I heard about someone asking Sam Raimi himself about a director’s cut, which he said no to and a tweet by some of the people who work for Sony saying “we hear you, but we’re not the ones who decide which movies should be made” or something like that, but even I still feel like we deserve a directors cut if we can possibly find more resources, recovering most of these deleted scenes and somehow put them together and hopefully, we’ll get to see how this movie was originally going to be🕷🕸 I mean, people had found a full workprint of the original Thomas and the magic railroad cut, so I think we can do something similar with this #releasetheraimicut
Im happy they didn't go with the original Venom death because Spider-Man literally impaled him in an attempt to kill him which goes against his rules because Spidey doesn't kill
Yeah, it would've been cool if he tried to save Eddie and he was already dead, or something along those lines. Pete deliberately merking someone right after finally dropping the black suit would be counter intuitive.

Concept art for movies and games is always drawn, gives the writers and such something to go off of, also helps with designing the characters and costumes.
Man, they completely cut out a majority of the subtle nuance to how the suit is affecting Peter's personality and judgment. The way Tobey grasps at the suit in the alternate apartment fight. The look on his face. Great acting.
I find it hard to believe they thought they could add a scene where Venom reveals it ate Eddie and now is going after Peter, that skeleton being revealed would've traumatized a lot of children in the movie theaters I mean just looking at the recreation made me feel really uneasy.
When you consider everything that goes into shooting a single scene in a blockbuster movie, it's wild to think about how much ends up on the cutting room floor. I doubt the studio just deletes all the unused footage, either, so all the cut scenes in their entirety must exist on a hard drive somewhere, never to see the light of day
I always thought it was him after crying, usually after crying you are left with a tearful but emotionless face, the shot wouldn’t work though as it shows him crying until the shot fades away
Spider-Man fans are INSANE for being able to recreate an *entire different cut of the climax* with nothing more than a few stock videos from Sony's licensing library
When I was a kid in the late 90s and early 2000s I remember going to the comic store and I always bought a Wolverine comic, because I could only get one, but I remember always wanting the Spidey ones with Carnage on the front cover. And this evil body sucking venom is kind of how I used to imagine Carnage.
Eddie's alternate death scene is frighteningly entertaining but cloudy. At no point does the film establish that the symbiosis would end up consuming its host's body. And if so, why didn't this happen to Peter, since in the context of the film he spent much more time using it than Eddie did. Overall, this ending would only leave the film confusing and anger audiences even more at the time of its release.
That venom death scene recreation while quite dark would’ve been awesome. The sand castle scene was genuinely beautiful too, it humanized the Sandman more. Man.. This movie was wasted potential.
I'm not a huge fan of AI and deepfake stuff, but I think that kinda technology can be used tastefully to help enhance the experience of the original cut of the film, if the footage is still out there. I mean you look at the capabilities of CGI now, and what the corridor crew (an independent CGI team) is able to do, who's to say Sony can't put together a directors cut of Spiderman 3. Now is like the perfect time given that Spiderman's popularity is at an all time high. They did it for the Snyder cut, why not for Spiderman? They already did a movie where they brought back Tobey and Andrew, why is a re-edited cut of Spiderman 3 with already existing footage such a stretch to ask for. I'm not saying they should reshoot scenes with the actors, I'm just saying, re-editing and finalizing action sequences is totally possible now. They even did this kinda stuff for the lizard and sandman when they turned human again in NWH. Way I see it, it'll only happen if people start asking for it.
I don't exactly remember what you missed but there's an alternate scene of birth of venom and there are some small differences in editor's cut like the scene where harry sees his father in the mirror, a different montage/order of some scenes, different soundtracks and some reduced scenes. You can see a video in yt which channel has upload a video about spiderman 2.1 Maybe there's a deleted swing before harry vs spidey in the house... There are some deleted or leaked fottage (idk) of wallace with the police before sandman and venom vs spidey, so there are some deleted scenes from what we saw in tv news in spiderman 3. There are different concepts and fottage of some costumes like black spidey, venom. There are some leaked footage (idk) of what you talked about, I mean the alternate final battle. I don't remember anything else.
I know exactly what alternate birth of venom scene you’re talking about. It’s the one that got removed because test audiences found it too scary. I have no idea where the original image comes from or where the poster got it from but you can find versions of it online. Due to the quality of the CG it’s clearly made after the cgi of the comic con trailer but before the final version.
New Updated version now available! Many many new scenes.

@@husbanana for me I would’ve combined the editors cut and OG cut of the scene where Pete talked to Harry and what Harry does after Peter leaves
Venom's original death would also be awesome to keep in the movie. It shows the horror of the movie
Did you even watch the video?
@@hob_channel Yeah i did. And the scene that i talked about is even shown in the video.
That scene with the sandcastle is adorable.
Fuck Spiderman 3 was originally much darker
Sam Raimi is a horror film director, and honestly that makes him the perfect writer for venom. Just Imagine what he could have done with carnage,Dr connors still has that small piece.
Yeah, makes me wonder what he could've done with someone like electro as well, considering how he was handled in Spider-Man TNAS, which was originally a continuation of the first film@@samwilsoncaptainamerica233
Why does this so give me such an eerie, excited feeling? I can’t explain it, but something about lost footage from spider-man 3 gives me crazy vibes.
The beautiful/strange feeling of seeing lost media of the things you love. The same thing happened to me with the Snyder Cut.
The idea of what could have been. And I agree! I really want to see more footage from Spider-Man 3. Raimi knew what was up!
Same here!
The fact that it sorta redeems raimi to some degree. That the ideas he had were very much on par with 1 and 2.
Had this movie been untouched by outer sources. It would've surpassed 2 and it would've made for an amazing movie.
gives the same feeling as beta content for bully game
13:05 this entire convo is so damn funny😭
1:18 if I'm not mistaken, the original idea was for venom and sandman to kidnap Gwen. And then MJ pep talks harry into helping peter in the final fight
That sand castle should've been in the film! It was a really emotional scene and showed even more how much Flint Marko loved his daughter.
i really want this Raimi Cut ❤💙🖤🕷 so bad.
Wow, one wrong move and Spider Man 3 could had been a horror movie.
Thank you for putting all of this together! it's pretty cool to see all the things that were unfortunately removed for better or worse... A long making of the movie documentary that has all of these scene's in high quality with people who worked on it talking about it years later is something i most definitely would buy.
They need to release a longer version it’s would be great and make great money for the studio
Jesus Christ the scene with Peter fighting venom with eddies skull creeps me out
12:12 that scene the small piece of symbiote that Dr. Connors carries is actually a poison from Venom, possible carnage
I think Venom's death scene is very impressive. It is very faithful to the original historical research. According to the setting of the symbiote before Null appeared, Originally, the symbiote kills its host when it and its host are in danger.
Could you tell us more about the setting before Null appeared?
@KlonESKthere was a what-if comic long before the 90s where the symbiote turned Peter into a skeleton.
Even though from what I heard about someone asking Sam Raimi himself about a director’s cut, which he said no to and a tweet by some of the people who work for Sony saying “we hear you, but we’re not the ones who decide which movies should be made” or something like that, but even I still feel like we deserve a directors cut if we can possibly find more resources, recovering most of these deleted scenes and somehow put them together and hopefully, we’ll get to see how this movie was originally going to be🕷🕸
I mean, people had found a full workprint of the original Thomas and the magic railroad cut, so I think we can do something similar with this
#releasetheraimicut
I didn’t expect to hear someone mention the magic railroad cut in a Spider-Man video comment section haha
I mean if Fox can do the Rogue cut for X Men: Days of Future Past, Sony has no excuse not to do a Director's Cut for SM 3.
Anyone got a draft of the script? will reward handsomely if so.
It would be great if that happened
@@lordskywalker7825I have the novelization. Any questions?
Im happy they didn't go with the original Venom death because Spider-Man literally impaled him in an attempt to kill him which goes against his rules because Spidey doesn't kill
He was already dead, Spider-Man didn’t kill Eddie. The Symbiote ate its host.
@@thelunarlunatic9681 No, Peter found out that Eddie's dead when he stabbed him since he freaked out inside when he saw his remains (his skull)
Yeah, it would've been cool if he tried to save Eddie and he was already dead, or something along those lines.
Pete deliberately merking someone right after finally dropping the black suit would be counter intuitive.
Spiderman doesn't have that rule lol. He tries not to kill people.
@@AJEJ22He killed the criminal in the first movie and changed his mind afterwards. They even have a long-ass speech scene in the third movie with aunt May, explaining the _"No kill"_ ruke.
If they had kept all the deleted scenes and released the movie that way, it would've been rated R.
The scene with venom revealing Eddie’s skeleton would’ve been the most epic scene in the whole film.
i’m impressed! this must have taken quite the effort to put together! genuinely impressed on how u managed to get all of this together! keep rocking!
Thank you so much!!
@@CMVEntertainment-eg5nm no problem! i think I’ll sub to u :)
5:30 this theme gives me chills I can't explain
Thanks for this, it is indeed an amazing effort.
Thanks for watching!
13:38 to 15:41 is *PURE ART DUDE I swear , they don’t make movies like they use to. This scene BROKE me as a father now. Amazing scene , she knew what she saw couldn’t be real but she felt drawn it ; she KNEW he was there* …
1:54 so this scene implies that Spidey has been awake the whole night while his mind was sleeping, just like in the comics
crazy how much movie concept art has changed
if that was real concept that is
Concept art for movies and games is always drawn, gives the writers and such something to go off of, also helps with designing the characters and costumes.
Venom consuming Eddie and piloting his bare skeleton would have been an amazing twist.
I love how venoms weakness is metal pipe falling
Well it's true
Deleted scene of Penny and Sandman is the best of all for me
Watching the deleted pre viz at 00:47 brings back vibes from PS1 era Spider-Man
FR
That original ending was so dark it probably would the leave every one traumatized
Aw cmon they shouldn't have deleted the scene between Penny and Sandman that was adorable
Sp3 was already the scariest spidey movie and the deleted contents are even scarier 😂
Man, they completely cut out a majority of the subtle nuance to how the suit is affecting Peter's personality and judgment. The way Tobey grasps at the suit in the alternate apartment fight. The look on his face. Great acting.
DUDE WHAT THE FUCK. That alternate venom death would have traumatized me as a kid.
Then watch cartoons
16:33 That TV really tells ya how broke the Markos were, even back in 2007, TV's like that were way out of date.
Microwave retro tv. Most working class americans live modestly and inherit what they have.
Microwave retro tv. Most working class americans live modestly and inherit what they have.
I find it hard to believe they thought they could add a scene where Venom reveals it ate Eddie and now is going after Peter, that skeleton being revealed would've traumatized a lot of children in the movie theaters I mean just looking at the recreation made me feel really uneasy.
To My knowledge the scene is in the novelization
And yeah kinda extreme
If they rerelease Spider-man 3 with all of these deleted scenes on it. It will simply make more money than Spider-man No Way Home Fun Stuff Version.
When you consider everything that goes into shooting a single scene in a blockbuster movie, it's wild to think about how much ends up on the cutting room floor. I doubt the studio just deletes all the unused footage, either, so all the cut scenes in their entirety must exist on a hard drive somewhere, never to see the light of day
1:24 This part is just funny like peter be like: he's fine
I always thought it was him after crying, usually after crying you are left with a tearful but emotionless face, the shot wouldn’t work though as it shows him crying until the shot fades away
6:10 is that even comic accurate venom turning eddie into skeleton
It was not, actually raimi is a horror director so he thought of adding this then he knew that kids watch spider-man also 😂
Doesn't matter it's fucking raw and should've been in the movie
Jesus the thumbnail is terrifying
Absolutely.
Should be a Album Cover. Shot is HAAARD🔥
Well at least they let us know what we were getting into
i really love the thought of the symbiote being a genuine parasitic alien, killing its host after bonding for too long
We need a deleted version dvd!
The scene of the symbiote trying to forcibly rebond with Peter is actual nightmare fuel, part of me wishes it was part of the movie.
Spider-Man fans are INSANE for being able to recreate an *entire different cut of the climax* with nothing more than a few stock videos from Sony's licensing library
I can see why they changed the Venom death scene.
Wow, I didn't know the scene with doctor Wallace was leaked. Thank you very much!
I hope you consider doing this for other Spider-man movies.
Kinda grateful we never had that Venom's death scene in the movie. Straight out of a horror film
Raimi's venom is more traumatizing than the current one😂
1:32 i swear... No other spiderman film made web swinging look and feel as good as in the raimi trilogy
Not to be "that" guy, but the Venom in the mirror scene isn't in the Editor's Cut. Great compilation though!
My bad! Thanks for your comment!
@@CMVEntertainment-eg5nmyes it is💀
@@sickboytwxstit's not unfortunately
@@Xiter2025it is you probably brought the normal one because I literally bought the editors cut 3 months ago and it’s in their
It is
Eddie's alternate death scene is frighteningly entertaining but cloudy. At no point does the film establish that the symbiosis would end up consuming its host's body. And if so, why didn't this happen to Peter, since in the context of the film he spent much more time using it than Eddie did. Overall, this ending would only leave the film confusing and anger audiences even more at the time of its release.
That narrow alley scene with Eddie at 10:10 is cool af
Nothing like Sony ruining the vision for this film. There’s so much more to it with these
Omg that penny sequence with his dad… a beauty…
That venom death scene recreation while quite dark would’ve been awesome. The sand castle scene was genuinely beautiful too, it humanized the Sandman more. Man.. This movie was wasted potential.
The deleted scene of penny and sandman is so damn good
I'm not a huge fan of AI and deepfake stuff, but I think that kinda technology can be used tastefully to help enhance the experience of the original cut of the film, if the footage is still out there.
I really do feel like if the Spider-Man movies still used these deleted scenes they would have made the movies so perfect.
I remember seeing the first trailer for this Spider-Man as a kid and all the hype around it. One of the coolest things about this movie.
These movies are my childhood
I will look into it and depending in what I find I might do a part two. Thanks for your comment!
@@CMVEntertainment-eg5nm now I remember another scene that mary jane went to harry to ask him to forgive peter
Oh! That was included in the video my friend, both the dialogue and the small fragment of scene. @@marvelanddcfanboypianist
@@CMVEntertainment-eg5nm ah sorry I miss it
I know exactly what alternate birth of venom scene you’re talking about. It’s the one that got removed because test audiences found it too scary. I have no idea where the original image comes from or where the poster got it from but you can find versions of it online.
Due to the quality of the CG it’s clearly made after the cgi of the comic con trailer but before the final version.
1:22 aye im zooted off this tweed and brooooo ts got me dying bro did not care about the homie dying🤣💀
we did they cut out these scenes these scenes are awesome
That Scene of Penny with her father was great, damn, why they cut this...
I'm surprised these deleted scenes never got released on dvd and blu ray.
this trilogy is everything to me.

First is not a deleted scene it was just a promo version to show what peter has become.
Yeah, that's why I put (probably deleted because it was meant for marketing)
