- Taking the hardtail mountain bike out on the maze of off piste singletrack trails at Haldon Forest in Devon. After quickly fixing a small mechanical half way through, we ride from the top to the bottom of the forest jumping on and off the trails and forest singletrack.

Looks awesome
Great vid man. It was interesting seeing a bit of the maintenance side as im trying to catch pointers for when i get my Voodoo.
Ooh! I've been trapped in Exeter since lockdown started and been looking forward to Holden opening again. I'll have to pay a visit next week sometime.
I'm liking the new confidence man! More on-bike commentary. more face cams etc. Easier to watch!
Back in Devon the next bank holiday. Not been to haldon for years. One of the first places I rode when I started MTB . Be nice to see how I've improved or not lol . Probably try and find some of the off piste stuff . Anywhere else any good around? .
I really like it at Haldon. GreaT for a summer ride. There used to be cafeside not far away, but that has now been closed so they can make it in to a proper bikepark. Who knows when they will reopen it.
Awesome stuff buddy! I've thrown you a sub. How busy is it down at Haldon at the moment? 👍🚲
Thanks for the sub man. It wasn't that busy because the car park and cafe etc are still closed.
@@bikeandbeyond Makes sense. I'm looking forward to it all reopening. Going to try and find some of the trails you've been riding!
I sorted out my brakes the other day. Pretty much the same steps you took. I'm off out to give them a test in a bit. I live on Exmoor and I'm itching to explore!
I hope you manage to get out and find something exciting to ride!
Thanks to Trailforks and a bit of local knowledge I've got a few places in mind! Can't wait to go back to Haldon Forest.
Nice place to bike. I had few brakes like them brake or leak my Voodoo got slx or higher stuff now plus i need better stopping get from better brakes being big rider .
cool 🤙
Great video! Do you feel your Bizango needs wider handlebars or that narrow bars have some advantage?
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Yeah as a personal preference I would personally like some wider bars.
Aiming to visit haldon forest myself for first time soon!! Any tips or anything to look out for on my first time there?!?!?!
can you make a video all about adjusting the suspension settings on the bizango?
Just google to fork...
I’m thinking of getting the bazango what upgrades do you suggest
I don't have the same bike but I would definitely upgrade it with a dropper post. You can get some pretty cheap brand X ones that work just fine and also don't break the bank.
For me I think upgrading to a dropper post, bars, pedals and tubeless were the main things I wanted. This is a link to me video on installing a dropper post (definitely the first upgrade to make) : ua-cam.com/video/ge4bxxsHFmQ/v-deo.html
This is also the review video of my Bizango. Perhaps worth checking out of you are looking at getting one:

Once again, another great video, I am thinking of going there next week but it is half an hours drive from Exmouth, what is everyone's take on how socially responsible it is to travel that distance in corona times? I know I get annoyed when people drive to Exmouth for the day and I don't want to be part of all the people stretching and taking the liberty of the rules.
Yeah its a tricky one really. The car park isn't open yet, which is great to stop too many people flocking to the woods. There is limited parking for a few people which keeps the numbers down. I am sure its the same with Exmouth beach, if you go there and it is too busy you need to be prepared to turn around and go home. I hope you manage to get out for a ride soon.
thanks for that, I think I will stick to Woodbury common now you have told me the car park isn't fully open; maybe in June or July, I will enjoy exploring on the common just as much though as any mountain biking location is fun.
Any idea what caused the oil leak?
Yeah, I think I hadn't tightened one of the screws back up properly after the last brake bleed. Rookie error on my part!
Bike and Beyond easy fix that then, that’s awesome. I’ve just recently had the pleasure of testing out my bizango on some of my local forest trails. Very impressed with it. Although, I was a bit untrusting of the grip with the standard tyres. I could feel it letting go a few times.
@@bikedaft1611 Yeah a slightly bigger tyre would be an advantage I think.
Bike and Beyond I’ll wait till I’ve worn these ones down a bit more. Might give the Michelin wild enduro 2.40 tyres a try.
Oil on the brakes dam you might need to check your pads don’t have any thing on if do set them on fire and it will burn all of the oil of it won’t burn all of the pad gust the oil
Yeah the pad were in a bit of a bad way with all the oil. I gave the pads a good clean and thankfully they are a lot better.
What did you use
I got the voodoo binzago 2 days ago already done 40 miles
