The Great Divide Mountain Bike Route (GDMBR) The Full Movie
Вставка
- Опубліковано 26 чер 2024
- Hello All. This is the full film of my ride along the GDMBR that I completed in 2023. I followed the Adventure Cycling Association route, beginning in Banff, Canada, riding down through America to finish at the Mexican border in a place called Antelope Wells. The route totals a little over 2700 miles.
This trip was incredible, I had never attempted a bikepacking trip even remotely like this before, although having hiked the Appalachian Trail a few years previous I knew I enjoyed the simplicity of waking up each day with nothing to focus on but ticking off miles and progressing along the trail. As I got into this adventure I found this to be perhaps even more rewarding on a bike, and spending time in the amazing places I rode through along the way was certainly the highlight of the trip for me.
Anyone who has subscribed to my channel for a while will know that I uploaded videos from this trip in multiple parts as I was riding it, so if you have just found my channel and enjoyed this video, you may enjoy watching the full series which is linked below.
This video took a long time to put together, Ross (my friend who edits my videos and occasionally joins me on some of my adventures) decided to go through all of the original footage again to put this together, so it is a completely new edit of my adventure, not just a re-edit of the original series. I therefore hope that even those of you who watched the original videos as they were coming out last summer will still find you enjoy this new way of experiencing it.
If you enjoyed this video then please consider subscribing, I have some exciting plans coming up through 2024, including the TransAmerica Cycle Route, which I am planning to start in July.
Thank you for watching.

This has to be the best bikepacking/touring videos I`ve ever watched. No stupid "epic" music, just enjoyable commentary and the sound of dirt under nobby tires, mixed with wind and nature. Truly a pleasure to watch, thanks so much for sharing this wonderful trip!
Thanks. It's always great to hear such nice feedback. It was an amazing trip. I can't stand that horrible 'epic' music either. Cheers 👍
This is the best 3 hours i’ve found on youtube in forever. I’ve followed the tour divide race for years but never have I considered going at a sensible pace and/or soaking in everything and enjoying the route in such a wonderful way!!! Chapeaux!!
Cheers 👍. High praise. It was an awesome trip. The Tour Divide racers are superhuman!!
By far ...the best GDMBR video I've watched.
Wow. Thanks for the great feedback. Cheers 👍
Touring is an eating event with a cycling problem.
Love it 🤣🤣

😂
Great addition to the series. 2000 views in one day is a testament to the popularity of your videos. I've watched literally dozens of GDMBR videos anticipating my own this summer. Yours is by far the best.
That's good to hear. I'm glad you liked it. Good luck this summer. It's such an amazing ride. You'll love it out there. Cheers 👍
I really have never watched a BETTER adventure video on UA-cam. I watched each episode originally and now I’ve watched this compilation, and now I want to go back and watch the episodes again. Yes the editing is superb but the video shot and the drone work are amazing
Cheers 👍 we really appreciate all the support. I love seeing regular commenters and you are definitely one of those. Glad you liked this one. It was a bit worrying as it's so long but it's performed amazingly. Cheers 👍👍
Agreed. This is better than most content I have consumed on all other platforms (Netflix, etc)
Wow. It's awesome to read such nice comments. Cheers 👍
I have never watched a nearly 3 hour UA-cam video until now. This is truly an epic video documentary of the Great Divide adventure. Thank you for sharing with us all!
Thanks. I don't think I've ever watched something this long on UA-cam either. We were a bit worried it was too long, but have been pleasantly surprised. Thanks for watching 👍
Me either, great Sunday afternoon here the Philippines ❤
You know you have made something great when your viewer first watch all the episodes individually and later in the same day watch the movie. I have to admit that I liked the individual episodes best as the cutting in this one was a bit on the heavy side. You have a great sense of humour. Keep up the great work.
You watched all of the episodes and the movie in the same day!! I feel that deserves some sort of award 🤣. Thanks for the support. Cheers 👍👍
Absolutely wonderful documentary. Great work. Thanks for uploading it.
Thanks. I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for watching 👍
Just amazing, thanks a lot for sharing this epical adventure
Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching 👍
1 minute in and he's already downing a pint. Legend.
🤣 I'm surprised I waited that long to be honest.
Thank you for putting this together! Three hours of breath taking scenery. So peace full and inspiring. I’ve put the tour on my bucket list. Cheers!
Thanks. I'm glad you liked it. It's such an amazing trail. I hope you make it out there.
This is award winning content. I enjoyed every minute of the adventure you took us on. Thank you for the inspiration and work you put into this.
Thanks for watching and thanks for the lovely comment. I'm glad you enjoyed it and comments like this make it all worth it. Cheers 👍
Agreed. Content like this deserves an award
brilliant
I finally finished watching
It’s been a total pleasure to watch, the friends that you made along so much fun 🤗🤗🤗
Hi. I'm really glad to hear that you enjoyed it. I was lucky to meet such amazing people along the way. Thanks for the support 👍
What an awesome adventure....and a superb documentary of it. Thank you for bringing us along!!!!
Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching. It's really appreciated. Cheers 👍
Just started again biking in France after 30years of nothingness, this gives me a big push in the back. Thanks, nice trip, I really enjoyed your journey.
That's good to hear. I was in France recently and managed to get a few rides in. I loved it there. Good luck 👍👍
Getting into bike packing, found your videos of the GDMBR. After a few seconds of watching I was completely addicted to your adventure. Watched the whole story. Loved the way you present this adventure. Amazing nature and combination of the local people makes it fun to watch. Now find some time start my first journey in the Netherlands and hopefully soon somewhere in Scotland. Thx for sharing, cheers Patrick
Hi Patrick. I'm glad you liked this series. Thanks for the positive feedback. Good luck with your first journey. Thanks for watching 👍
Great trip! Thoroughly enjoyed.
Thank you very much, I am really enjoying your film, your sense of humor, your way of describing your day and each event that it entails. The movie is long but I don't want to miss a second of it. I have to do that trail 💪💪💪🙏
Thanks. It's Nice to hear you're enjoying it. It is very long, so thanks for watching. It was an incredible trail and I miss being out there. Cheers 👍
I loved to watch all your episodes from the GDMBR and I love your style and love of life.
I will watch this one tonight and dream of another trip to the magic continent.
Me and my wife biked in Alaska, Yukon and BC in 2008 and it is some of my best monthes of my lift.
Thanks for your hard work editing your films.
I love them!!
Carsten Brandt, Læsø, Denmark
Thanks for such a lovely comment. I would love to get out to Alaska and am sure I will at some point. I hope you enjoy it. Cheers 👍
I am not quite to the end yet, and excuse my language, but this is fucking exceptional. I loved the original series, and it was amazing to follow along as you were still on the trail, but the pacing of this is just perfect, I have been watching for over 2 hours and it has flown by, I haven't been bored or felt the need to skip any of it, yet it isn't rushed, it is the full story of this amazing adventure. It is quite simply an incredible bit of work by both of you, Mat for getting this footage and telling the story so well, with humour and honesty, and Ross for putting it together in a way which gets everything out of it.
It seems unlikely, but in the event someone reads this comment before committing to watch the whole video, then do not hesitate! Watch and enjoy.
What a comment. I'll be honest and say that Ross has put a lot of time into this so he'll be pleased when he sees this comment. I'm watching it now and I agree with you about the pacing. Thanks for all the support 👍👍
Re-watched. It was like being re-introduced to some old friends and dogs :)
🤣 very true. I haven't even re-watched it myself yet. Cheers👍
You are a great story teller. The way you describe how you are feeling makes it realistic. The film and drone footage is excellent. I've loved watching these. Thank you.
Nice to hear. I'm.glad you enjoyed these videos. Thanks for watching 👍
Well I finished watching it all this evening. What a nice paced film of the tour divide. I agree, you could take a year doing this ride in reality. We move so fast in todays world of challenge, race and time. This was a great pedal across this beautiful scenery. Great stuff 😎
Thanks. I'm glad you liked it. I loved this trip. I will try to go even slower when I ride the Trans Am later this year. Thanks for watching 👍
I did the GDMBR (S>N) in 2021 and didn’t think I’d want to do it again but after watching your movie, I’m keen on doing it from north to south. Oh, and I was one of “those” that pushed her bike up Fleecer Ridge…. Pure hell.
I can't imagine what fleece ridge was like for you. Starting in New Mexico must have been tricky too. I'm in awe!! Good luck on the North to South. Cheers 👍
What a wonderful gift to my day! Awesome!!
That's nice to hear. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Cheers 👍
Absolutely brilliant
Thanks 👍👍
thanks for no annoying music
It's surprising how often I hear that. I don't like the annoying music either. Cheers and thanks for watching 👍👍
Your life . Take your time .Enjoy.. one hell of trip. Grt to see people still kind an generous .restore a bit of faith back into human kind .you remind me of Billy connelly .with the whit cheers
The people on this trip were incredible. Being likened to Billy Connelly is a huge compliment. Cheers 👍
Thanks for the great tour (and thanks for avoiding the cheesy background music you get with most travel videos!)
Thanks. I'm in complete agreement regarding cheesy music. Cheers 👍
I love this video, ive been watching in parts anytime im not busy 😊
Hi. I'm glad you like it. It was a fantastic trip. Cheers 👍
Phenomenal video. Did a section myself (Idaho through Colorado) and this really brings me back. Thank you for sharing
That was an amazing section of trail. Glad you liked it. Cheers 👍
Awesome watch Matt! Bought back some great memories from the route, appreciate the shoutout too!!
Hi Joe. Thanks! Your videos on the TD were absolutely gripping. I don't know how you managed to race, and get so much footage.... Awesome stuff! Cheers 👍
This was amazing! So motivating. I’m getting into cycling and stumbled across this video and was very surprised it only has 30k views, and that you only have 4K subs! This is award winning quality and I hope it does win one. Thank you for sharing!!
Thanks. Award winning... I'm amazed and so pleased by the lovely comments we've had on this video. Thanks for watching and thanks for the support. Cheers 👍
Thanks so much for this, it must rank as one of the best films I’ve ever seen, certainly THE definitive document of the GDMBR. Truly epic and awesome and very inspiring- can’t say more! Maybe….Wow!
Wow that is high praise indeed. We spent a lot of time considering if it was too long, we didn't want people to be put off by that. However, we had it cut down as much as we'd like without starting to remove days of the trip, and I've always liked long videos on UA-cam, they lend themselves to stopping and starting if you don't want to watch it in one go, so decided to just go with it. Thanks for watching and thanks for commenting.
Hi Matt, just found your channel whilst searching for the GDMBR, what an absolutely amazing video. I'm WFH today and got absolutely bugger all done because I've been glued to this for 3 hours! Thanks for sharing your trip 👍🏻
Hi. Nice UA-cam logo!!! Sorry to have wasted your day. Anything is better than. Work though eh? Thanks for watching. Cheers 👍
So glad I found this video. Almost 3 hours of great entertainment! Thanks for making it.
Thanks for watching. I'm glad you enjoyed it 👍
I really like how grateful and appreciative you are in the videos. I am terribly envious of this ride. So it means a lot to hear someone who truly appreciates the privilege.
Perhaps someday I will be able to do it.
Love your content!
Thanks. It was an amazing ride and I will never take experiences like that for granted. I hope you make it out there. Thanks for watching 👍
Awesome Full length video mate, from an Aussie in the Philippines - I loved riding with you - cheers mate Jon - YOUR A LEGEND
🤣 Cheers. I'll take compliments like that all day. Thanks for watching 👍👍
Amazing. Thank you!!
Thanks 👍👍
Great video!
Complete pleasure watching! Your humor & story telling excellent!!
Thanks. I'm glad you liked it 👍
Don't rush. Take it all in, it's not a race it's a journey, and you are an inspiration, and I'm enjoying watching the video
Thanks. What a lovely comment. Cheers 👍
Amazing and fun journey...Thank you
Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching 👍
I can’t, thank you enough, I wish I was eloquent enough to put the words to the enjoyment and inspiration I’ve gotten from your journey. And thank you so much for taking the time to share it with us. 🚲🙏🏻❤️
Thanks. I'm really glad you enjoyed it. I really appreciate you taking the time to watch it. It was a long one. Cheers 👍
Really enjoyed watching all the original posts of this ride and now the compilation! It’s fantastic. Great job and thank you for sharing it with us.
I really enjoyed hearing how often you commented on how lucky you were to be having this experience.
Great attitude! Inspiring video!
Thanks. I never lost sight of how much of a privilege it was to be out there. It was absolutely amazing and I'll never forget it. Cheers 👍
I have thoroughly enjoyed this….a true video journal of your journey and what you went through day in and day out. No sugar coating, just exactly how it was. I think my favorite part was seeing your reaction to the landscape through each state, but more specifically to New Mexico - my home state. Thank you for sharing your journey and congrats on a phenomenal accomplishment!
Thanks. Great comment. It's always nice to get such good feedback. It was an incredible trip. New Mexico was stunning, and the people were so friendly. cheers 👍
What a treat. You have made the best video on the divide. Great job and congratulations 👍😎🇫🇷
Thanks. I'm glad you liked it. I'm in France right now, near Le Mans. Cheers 👍
Just stumbled onto this a week or so back, watched it over a number of days. Really entertaining enjoyable!
Great. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching 👍
the amount of stunt doubles and green screen work it took to make this movie look so real is amazing, good job i enjoyed it
Rumbled!!! I thought we'd get away with it. I'm guessing you noticed a flag blowing in the wrong direction somewhere 🤣🤣. Cheers 👍
Really enjoyed watching this all weekend. Think I’d love to do this one day.
You definitely won't regret it if you make it out there. It's an awesome trail and I loved it. Cheers 👍
This is a really great watch. I’ve been obsessing with GDMBR and it’s great to see a more laid back approach to such an amazing ride. I hope to experience this adventure with the same attitude as you. Cheers!
It was such an amazing trail. It would have been a shame to rush it, not that I could have gone much faster. I hope you make it out there. Cheers 👍
wauw, love it. what a great video.
Thanks. I'm glad you liked it. It's such an wesome trail.
Great film, the honesty is great!
Thanks. Glad you liked it. Cheers 👍
Hi Mat, Just stumbled upon your channel now. Just watched 52 mins and Wow! Thoroughly enjoyed your content and style. Have to resume watching the rest later as it is now 4 am and I have to sleep. Wished I could ride that trail and and have such an amazing experience. Absolutely spectacular scenery. Keep up the excellent work 😊👍
Hi. I'm glad you're enjoying it so far and I hope you enjoy the rest. It was an absolutely incredible trip and I met so many incredible people. This sounds clichéd but it's all true. Anyway, thanks again for watching and I hope you don't oversleep tomorrow. Cheers 👍
Thank you for making the effort to film your ride and publish it. I loved it!
Thanks. I'm glad you liked it. Cheers 👍
I watched every minute. I hated to see it end. I'm glad it was the 4 of you finishing together. A really great presentation.
Thanks. I'm glad you liked it. I was lucky to meet such amazing riding companions out there. Cheers 👍
Loved watching this, it felt like I was there with you! You’re humble attitude towards your previous experience, overcoming your initial fears as a 1st time bike packer and really showing that this was an epic adventure that you managed well and had no real drams only positives in the adventure and with the people you met along the way. Really inspired me to do this one day. Thank you!
Great comment. Thanks. I tried to keep.ot all honest and it was an exceptional trip. If you make it out there you'll love it like I did. Cheers and thanks for the support👍👍
1:04.30 John and Mirra.
Lol funny I wasn't expecting that.
It was great to meet him. We had to edit it to try to stop me looking like an overexcited fan boy. Cheers 👍
I really enjoyed that stuck in the house on a windy Sunday morning in Southern Alberta. I hope to be able to do the same trip one day! Thanks for the great movie.
Hi. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's an awesome trail. I hope you get out there one day. Cheers 👍
"This is such a unique place" while walking in front of a dumpster is one of my favorite moments of the series.
🤣🤣 It was an experience that's for sure. I may be back there later this year. I think the TransAm goes through there too. I'll feature the dumpster again!!! Cheers 👍
Chapeau!
Cheers 👍
Great - and helpful. Plenty of ideas to juggle with which I always love. Those Pinnion gears have intrigued me 😮
Thanks. The Pinion gearbox was flawless. It didn't need any maintenance. I'm sure that's the way to go. The cost proposition is good if you get the use out of it too. I'd love a Pinion gearbox for the bike I'm taking on the TransAm later in the year but I really can't have two.
@@matryderadventures thanks. I'm still watching (episodes) of your film. Just pausing and restarting but it's a lovely natural experience to follow. Not too tech heavy just simple pedaling. Great stuff. All points north is a canny ride. A lot shorter but a lovely ride. 🤘
Met mat over bottle of water my place on GDMBR, i meet many on the ride living. I dont know much, just give water road, meet some. Truly mat did the ride right, chill just enjoying.
Cheers mat, great to know you!
Inspiring! Fantastic watch. Thanks Mat 🚴
Excellent. Thanks for the support. I'll grab a beer on you tomorrow. Cheers 👍👍👍
Super Congrats Mat. I enjoyed every minute off your adventure. I too have ridden the Divide but havre not made it in one trip. You have. I am going to Steamboat Springs to start my journey to Antelope Wells this June. I will ride it with a friend who has ridden it 4 times and finished it 3 times. I had to finish and leave to go back to work. So I will start were I finished last time. Had to go back to school and coaching where I work. Next year when I retire I will ride the entire route as you did. Your route was epic and totally enjoyable to watch. I know you would be fun to ride with. You gave me a great perspective on what is lying south of SS.
Hi. Thanks for watching this one. I'd like to do what you've done and ride the route again in smaller sections. I'm sure I will one day. Good luck for next year. Cheers 👍
UA-cam algorithm is good. Subscribed!
Excellent. Thanks for subscribing 👍👍
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks. Thanks for watching 👍
Thanks, and thanks for watching 👍
About as good as an adventure travel video can be. I got sucked in so fast. Halfway through and I have to stop for the night but it's great watching this. Can't wait for morning when I can finish it. Do more of this stuff, Mat!
Thanks. I'll be back out on the TransAm towards the end of July. I hope you enjoyed the rest. Cheers 👍
Thanks for the content.
You're welcome. Thanks for watching 👍
Mat, O really enjoyed your travelogue. I liked the pace, the artful photography and good use of the drone footage. Dry humor and the piano playing speaks to your multi skills. Thank you!
Thanks. I'm glad you liked it. It was an amazing trip. Cheers 👍
LOVED watching this video! It has me really amped up for my own GDMBR journey this summer. Cheers from Boston!
I'm seriously jealous. You're going to love it out there. Cheers 👍
Well what can I say, that was epic. Thanks so much for taking us along with you. I can only reiterate what other commenters have been saying. This was the best ever and it makes my 'epic' journeys of around 100 miles look like a walk in the garden (ha ha). All the best.
Hi. It was an absolutely incredible trip. I loved it out there. Thanks for watching 👍👍
Hello all. Did This ride on my Dual Sport Motorbike 2 year ago, there and back. Lots of respect to all the bike packers I seen along the way. Loved biking when I was younger and in better shape.
Making vids is a harded work then one would think and you Sir have done a great job. Thanks for Sharing from Saskatoon "Central" Canada. It is indead an epic ride.
Hi. I met quite a few people.on motorbikes. I'd love to do some touring like that. I haven't ridden for a few years, but will ride again!! Cheers 👍
Awesome video! I did a bike trip in Montana a few years back starting in Bozeman and doing approximately a 400 mile loop back to Bozeman. I went thru a couple of places that you were in and Montana’s landscape is amazing! Excellent job!
Sounds like a good trip. I loved Montana. The scale of the landscapes were almost impossible to comprehend.
Not sure of ever watching a 3hr video end-to-end. What with all the plot twists and turns. Every second interesting. What an adventure. Production-values, great narration. Well done, sir.
Thanks. Great feedback is always nice to hear. Cheers 👍👍
A very solid adventure. The early mornings, exhausted evenings, great food and company. Well Done.
You've summed it up perfectly. Cheers 👍
The bike is the perfect way to travel. I'm glad you realised that. Thank you for a wonderful video of a fantastic route. Thanks for taking us along with you.
I agree 100%. Thanks for watching. Cheers 👍
Best GDMBR video I’ve seen. I especially liked that you weren’t rushing through it. Thanks for sharing your experience
Thanks for watching. It was such an amazing trail. I really tried not to rush through and I'm glad I didn't. Cheers 👍
Been wanting to try bikepacking for awhile. Felt overwhelmed by a lot of the other videos on it. However this video showed me it is accessible if I accept my abilities and enjoy the process. I've scheduled a two night "experiment" trip close to home. Thanks for making the effort to create this.
I love seeing messages like this. I hope your experiment goes well. I'm sure it will. Cheers 👍
Watched every minute of it. Gf and I watched most of it at her home. Looks like a beautiful time. I didn’t know anything about this ride. Now I know. Great job.
It was an incredible trip and an amazing trail. I'm glad you both enjoyed it. Thanks for commenting 👍👍
Fantastic adventure thanks so much for sharing it with us.
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching 👍
What a brilliant film. I stumbled across your channel looking for info on The Peddars Way. Your down to earth, sometimes tongue in cheek commentary without any need for background music makes it all the more watchable and gives hope and confidence that 'normal' folks could tackle this trip. Thankyou :)
Thanks. I'm glad you liked it. I hope you enjoy the Peddars Way. Cycling or walking, there's both well worth doing. Cheers 👍
thank you for letting us watch you take on this trip. looks amazing!
I loved it out there. I really appreciate your support. Cheers 👍
I love your dry sense of humor. It’s quite refreshing.
Always good to hear. Thanks 👍👍
I'm not sure how your video came to my feed, but I'm glad it did. I've enjoyed it as I pedal on the exercise bike in the mornings and just finished it as I do a little work. Awesome ride! Glad you had such a good experience and I appreciate you taking us along on the adventure!
Thanks. It's nice to hear you enjoyed it. It was an amazing ride. I miss being out there already. Cheers 👍
I've not watched this all the way through, but it gets me through my training sessions on the turbo, and makes me want to do this trip, but also to watch this over and over again. I think you find that wherever you go, you find nice people around the world, but the media will try to make you think differently. I've only been to America for around 3 weeks and found everybody, everywhere extremely friendly. The same as every other country I've been to. You covey this so well in your videos how friendly people are.....Be kind, always.
Great comment. Thanks. I completely agree. Wherever I go, I meet amazing, generous and friendly people. It can't be a coincidence. People are good!!! Cheers 👍
This film is totally inspiring me to attempt a challenge like this….and stopping this work thing….now…well done and thanks…👍✊
Excellent. I love hearing that people are inspired by these videos.... Good luck with it all. Cheers 👍
I've followed these videos for years and I so appreciated your sarcastic presentation 😂I look forward to your next adventure!
Good to hear(not sarcasm 🤣🤣)!! I'm glad you like these videos. Thanks for watching 👍👍
very much enjoyed so thnx for that.
Glad you enjoyed it. Cheers 👍
Thank you for sharing this amazing adventure with us! Loved every minute 🎉
Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching 👍👍
When you mentioned the two guys from Canada I thought wow, what a coincidence, I met two guys from Canada when I rode last summer. Then after meeting the guy from the ACA with snacks it confirmed that we were on the trail at the same time. I only did a portion of it but I am planning to be back for the whole thing in 2025. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
That really is a coincidence. We must have been pretty close. I ended up riding the rest of the way with one of the Canadians. Good luck for 2025!!
@@matryderadventures Did John end up liking his bike choice? In Montana he was not sold on the weight of the Pinion. Wonder if riding more changed his mind.
I think he ended up being happy with it. It was pretty heavy compared to mine but, in general I'd say it was a very well made bike. I had some issues aligning the rear wheel on my Sonder and I could see that John's had a better engineered solution for alignment. I'd say he was happy with his choice.
What an incredible film here, Mat! Truly inspiring. I've been watching it over breakfast the last few weekends now, and it is better to come back to than anything on Netflix or the like. Cheers to your wonderful commentary as well.
Thanks. Comments like this really inspire me to keep going with UA-cam. I really appreciate it. Thanks 👍
@@matryderadventures You're very welcome. Looking forward to more videos..
Bravo. I have watched the entire video over the past week and thoroughly enjoyed it. Your narration and drone photography just excellent. A very inspirational bike packing video!! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks. It's always good to hear such nice feedback. Thanks for watching 👍👍
This is excellent! My favorite part was at Brush Mtn Lodge. The following morning really spoke to me. "Somedays you just don't feel like being bothered." Such a great personality and go with the flow reasonable. Loved the video!
Thanks. That was a strange day. Left the lodge feeling terrible then felt great after a climb. You just don't know how some days are going to go. Thanks for watching 👍
Incredible journey and a huge congrats on completing it! Thanks for sharing your adventures and the amazing landscapes with us. Truly inspiring! 🚲⛰
Cheers. I look forward to having a proper chat. 👍👍
Brilliant, great reminders from your series. Looking forward to watching your next one later in the year😊
It was great to watch this. Gives us normal people motivation that we can do this as well. Preparation seems to be the key.
I'm not just saying it but, if I can do it, anyone in reasonable physical shape can. Using the right equipment helps. You can build your fitness along the way. Cheers and thanks for watching 👍👍
This showed up in my feed, I clicked it and couldn't stop watching. Why am I wasting time on Netflix when I could be watching stuff like this? Just an amazing video. I loved every second, and sad its over. Informative, motivating, entertaining, humorous, you have a new Sub, and I will watch all of your content. Keep up the amazing work for stuff like this!
Excellent!! Thanks for subscribing and I'm glad you enjoyed this video. It was an awesome trip. I have a similar trip (TransAm) planned for later this year. Cheers 👍
@@matryderadventures Thanks! Can't wait to tune in and watch that adventure! In the meantime, I am going back and catching up on all of your previous content. Just brilliant.
