I hope you love this tutorial trying to recreate Amy Winehouse Iconic Look. I loved Amy's voice and talent so much and she was taken from us way too soon, it makes me so sad!! But I know I'm not alone as many of you guys share your love for her too!
I hope I did her look some kind of justice but I am in no means claiming to look like her and its just an INSPIRED tutorial (because I know people are going to comment their little fingers away saying how I did this or that wrong)
I noticed I forgot to say, make good choices wahhh! With Halloween approaching please with everything in you, make good choices, don't drink and drive. Uber, lyft, call a friend, call triple A, Call your dad/mom/S.O., Just don't be dumb and drive. Random but, it happens a lot around this time of year and I would love for you all to be SAFE.

When I first started getting into makeup.. I really only had 4 products and liquid eyeliner was one of them. I would dress up like Amy Winehouse and sing along to her music. This was years and years ago but I think I am gonna have to do it again. :D

Your tutorial is by far the best. Other tutorials are great too but the eyeliner is the most important and the ROUNDED tip. Most do a pointed tip and its nice too but for an Amy look to be accurate it should be round and you've nailed it.

I was Amy Winehouse a few Halloweens ago....used my friend's "snooki's" wig. Only thing I had to invest in was the eyeliner. If I could be Amy every Halloween I would. :)
Well done. I miss her, dude. :( Her voice was so amazing. I unfortunately watched her downfall on the gossip site Oh No They Didn't starting back in 2006 when I didn't really know who she was. It was like a car wreck... you couldn't look away. Then, when she started sobering up, I had hopes she'd come around although secretly I felt she wouldn't. And tragically, she didn't. I'm a recovering alcoholic and I'm just like... wish you could have stayed girl. It's doable. Anyway, tl;dr. Thanks as always for your awesome videos.

If you had rolled the piece that you used as a bump loosely kind of tucking the ends into the cap and put some plastic bags inside of it to keep its shape and then used a hair net to also reinforce the shape stays held....also using a pair of old tights and putting the waist band around the top of your head like a cap and then taking the legs and wrapping it around to create an anchor and base for you to then pin the first hair piece onto and when you use Bobby pins it you slide it halfway thru the hose and far enough to grab some hair then twist/rotate the pin either direction and then finish sliding it in that guarantees a solid hold for the cap and wig to stay put. Doing the same but no so many with the bunt cuz you want that loose messy bun to have as much height as you need....this is 6 years too late but hope this helps anyone that's now coming across this

Bailey Sarian Now if I was going to Disneyland I might dress up. When I lived in Orange County we always went to Knott's Scary Farm on Halloween. I'm not sure Disneyland even did anything more than decorate in those days. Lol I think this Saturday you should wear this "costume", it'd be more like just being normal. The last time I dressed up was probably 7 years ago for work and I took lite blue scrubs and glued cotton balls on them plus I carried around a water bottle, I was partly cloudy with a chance of rain. ☺
