Not in a negative way but I didn’t like any of the shoes listed and I love that. My goal is to not buy any clothes this year and focus less on fashion consumption and more living the life of the character in the clothes. My closet is amazing with good boots sneaker and stuff I’m not lacking.
That is a positive thing, it can be friendly to your wallet/savings from my perspective which I totally understand
Yeah I don't connect with any of these either. Cool to see different looks but I love the collection I have now and all I'm going to buy are my staples if they get destroyed.

#PVV : my most worn shoes are my mono black Converse. Comfortable and go with everything, I just know I'll wear these until they fall apart. The second pair are my burgundy steel toe Solovair boots, they're done me a lot of good in a damp climate and are definitely the statement pair.

Auralee’s collab with new balance is worth watching for. Paraboot most worn the last few years. I have the Michaels and Clusaz in rotation and they just work with so many different pant silhouettes and use cases (formal + casual)
This year it was definitely the gazelle indoors in mustard yellow with rubber sole. I love them and they truly make up my outfits
I dig those Bode Nikes, but that slim silhouette’s gonna be tough for everyone in the oversized lane. Maybe if I went back to my slim fit-everything days it could work. Or shorts only? I’ve been slowly giving up on Nike these days. And I agree with NBs, quality is never a slouch with them. Just copped my pair of 580 Stray Rats and have been my grail kicks as of late!

I feel like the new balances RC30 are going to blow up this year, they are so original and stylish. I just got a pair of them and I really suggest you to give them a try.
For me and I’m sure like many others, in the wintertime I am very drawn to pick up anything OTHER than a sneaker. Like you Drew, I haven’t picked up my new balances in a minute. However in the spring and summertime, I love a comfy sneaker! I think it also has to do with breathability and style options in the hotter weather!
Literally copped 3 NB this winter lol
Took a trip to london/nyc and only could take one pair of shoes--decided on the white/grey margiela GAT. was walking 20k steps every day and found no problem comfort wise, got a few scuffs but i found both the color + gum sole are just so incredibly versatile (not a surprise as it's essentially just the elevated version of the samba which is so prevalent at the moment!)
I haven’t really got that much into shoes and recently I started liking the adidas rivalry and penny loafers and I think this video helps build a idea of shoes that some people might be interested in

I have been wearing a pair of Johnston & Murphy lace up cap toe boots I got back in 2016. Need to get a pair of the tassel slip ons for the warmer days ahead 🦾
I think i gotta go with the Birkenstock boston for now cous theyre soo comfortable, still searching for a right pair of tassel loafers the right loafers just suit your foot too good. you automatically get a confident boost i do tho.

i think my most worn pair is a brown pair of leather loafers with a rubber sole which gives it a very chunky aspect to it.
I bought a pair of dirk bikkemberg bungee coord boots in early 2023 that have just been my go to's for the past year. Im pretty young and I definitely 'overspent" on those shoes but every time I look at them I just fall in love with the design language again and all the subtle inspirations that make up the boot. Even though I don't consume as much these days because I found my "keeper" boots. It's always nice to get the monthly Drew Joiner update on whats trending rn

Honestly I agree with top comment and hope Jordan’s comeback because they are just objectively better than the boring ass shit that’s been happening with the samba

feel like dainty shoes are a thing i see growing in men's fashion for sure. i think this summer slippers & flats are gonna be huge. pants won't be getting any smaller either.
personally i'm gonna be all about my plasticana clogs and morjas pennies. i feel like the only shoes i don't have that i want are like super cozy sneakers (prob xt6 for me, just the best fit for my foot) and hoop shoes (prob foams tbh, most 90's retro stuff has too much volume for my foot but that's the most durable shit there is)
for rest of winter it's black timbs and orees tho. gotta get move all day insoles for both they are game changers. get them for all shoes really

That New Balance 1906R looks exactly like my favorite sneaker, the Saucony Trigon 4 from several years ago. That's awesome if that look gets hot!
the 1906 remind me of knockoff prada america cups. Mary Janes are gonna be making a wild comeback even in menswear circles. i've had three pairs of tabi mary janes in the past two years and i love the look of ppl when they see me a dude wear them the are so easy to make outfits w aswell. The LV ones are gonna be knocked off to hell as well w the contrast stitching.
I've only had them for a week so far, so they haven't made it out of their box, but I see myself wearing the hell out of my newly acquired Saucony Shadow Grid 2's in the 'marsh/creek' colourway. Either those or the same but the Jae Tips collabs in the pink/brown colourway.

PVV: It's a tie between my Auralee New Balance 1906R or my standard Doc Martens lately. Can't beat the comfort of the New Balances and the Docs are such a low-profile and classic silhouette that goes with so many outfits. However, I did get a pair of Ralph Lauren Belvin loafers that I want to try to wear more these upcoming warmer months.
Pvv: The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 vast grey color way have stayed on for the past few years…Love that sneaker

Most worn shoes are these peanut butter brown Chelsea boots I know I know Chelsea boots aren’t trending but they are so comfortable and look great when I where business casual to my 9 to 5.
Also been wearing my Pure Money Jordan 5s these are my beaters I wear with my vintage tees. Looking to upgrade my footwear this 2024! Thank you Drew for the vid mos def considering some new balances!

pvv, I have been wearing a pair of reebok beatniks I got this summer, they are a good all around slide
My most worn pair has been the CPFM Air Flea 2 and ive gotten so many complements tho its a very different shoe.
My most worn pairs of shoes so far are my black Onitsukas and platform doc martens chelsea boots . These are my first pair of black sneakers, when I got them I was excited to kinda dip a toe in my villain era. I used to be really into the 80s white chunky sneaker look and I’m stepping away from that. The platform Chelseas?? They used to be the bane of my existence, left my heels raw !! But after two years of having them they are finally finally broken in. Love that I can slip them on and be on my merry way during this nyc wet cold weather.

Love that paraboots are getting the love they deserve. (the gatekeeper in me hates it tho) but they are seriously worth the investment, I have two pairs, the Michaels and the Chambord and they make any outfit lean in a more a smart/street/ivy/americana kinda look. If you like and feel comfortable in loafers and want to go to the next level, paraboots is where it's at
The brand is called "On Running" or just "On". The Cloud is just a range of styles from On, like the Cloud Monster, Cloud Nova, etc. There's also a second drop of the PAF collab coming for FW24 which is event better imo.
Other than that I'm really looking forward the Watanabe 1906s cause they're not just a hybrid between sneaker sole and loafer upper but more a sneaker designed like a loafer.

#pvv my shoes of 2024 are full black Osiris d3 so far. They are extremely comfortable for winter and early spring, while complimenting my personal style. I cant wait to get a pair of Adidas Gazelle and have them on once it gets warmer.

my most worn shoes are definitely the camper karst. i bought them summer 23 and still love them as a not so basic "basic white sneaker". otherwise a pair of black uggs never disappoints. i am currently studying at the academy of fine arts in milan, italy and it`s freezing cold here. so people either wear uggs, doc`s or cowboy boots most of the time. personally i am not a fan of the last. so i hope the trend of cowboy boots dies out this year...
