Backrooms - Anomalous Spaces

  • The Backrooms stretch far beyond any physical limits we can imagine. Our units of measurement are simply inadequate to quantify their size.
For the vast majority they consist of nothing more than endless halls and rooms. Monotonous buzzing lights, faded wallpaper and cheap industrial carpet. Arranged in a manner that imperfectly mimic human structures..
However there is far more to The Backrooms than this. Within what seems to be their limitless expanse exist unique regions. Areas that defy logic or purpose. To call them constructions would be to suggest they were once constructed.
Liminal Spatial Constructs has collected a library of footage from The Backrooms. Discovered on old VHS cassettes, inside unused folders on obsolete computers and in the middle of 8mm films dug from the back of dusty archives. Who is behind each camera is unknown at this time and of little importance.

Came from your comment on Harry Evett's video, this looks really well made! No entities or jumpscares, just some interesting liminal architecture 👌

Thank you very much! We are interested in the same thing I think, those dreamlike liminal spaces devoid of life.

there can be entities or danger but the more unknown and strange the better ;)

Dude, this is so freaky and I love it. No horror elements, no crappy shadow monsters, not even any story. Just pure, unfiltered mystery.
I'm not against the idea of the Backrooms being a massive ecosystem with thousands of levels, entities, etc. However, it's nice to see some "true" Backrooms content every once in a while.
    Outstanding job :)

Tbh the Backrooms would have died if they never got developed beyond that single picture in 4chan

@@aw55550 Eh, you're probably right. As mush as I love the world-building people have done, it's nice to see more "classic-styled" Backrooms content.

This has got to be one of my favourite Backrooms uploads in quite a while. It really captures the essence of what made them so interesting and mysterious in the first place. I find myself particularly fascinated with The Pinch and have replayed it so many times because I can't get over the unfathomable mystery of what is happening. It really raises questions.. what is creating that loud sound coming from the dark narrow corridor that only gets louder after the footage is cut off? Why does it even sound the way it does? What are the particles upon closer inspection? Is a strong wind blowing them in from the darkness? What is the cause of the wind if so? What is even HAPPENING beyond that point? The list goes on and on. Truly mind gripping.

Some other footage of the region designated 'The Pinch' does exist in our archives. From what these show 'The Pinch' seems to extend indefinitely in both directions, and although passages through such as the one in this footage do exist they are exceedingly rare. Transit through the passage has not been witnessed so far.

I think the wind means a hell of a lot of cold air is sinking from above. At least that’s what would happen in real life, but the wind here is super fast.

Ooh love this format! The introductory slides are a really nice touch. I’d like to see more of this series, I hope you haven’t been dissuaded from making Backrooms content by the low views and atrocious state of the algorithm. This is some high end stuff.

What I like about this video is the feeling of exploring a massive spawling cave system, with various areas being given memorable names to make them easier to recognize.
And like many others have already noted, there are no entities and it's the architecture itself that comes off as hostile to humans.

When I visited these backrooms I was given a handset to call for assistance if I got stuck. The handset literally disappeared when I put it down for a moment, then I panicked and the next thing I knew, I woke up at home. Then I received an SMS saying simply "next visit, 3009:1:4" which made no sense.

Excellent stuff here! I've seen many backrooms channels and architecture-wise, your channel is in the top 3--5 out of 60-70+ channels! Your archival and tilting efforts are also much appreciated. I don't know if it's all you or if you get help from AI with your designs, but please make more of these videos!

Not sure how long these 2 vids took you to make, but this is what i picture the backrooms are. And endless maze of yellow that slowly but steadily breaks down into a surreal mess.
