I made an error in this video calling these switches the "non" Pro versions since they are not labelled Pro in my communications with the company or on my box. These are the Pro switches in the video as the non pro versions feature a transparent top shell. I do still recommend getting the non pro versions as these do feel heavier than the original Jade switches which I did mention in this video.
There are no Pro versions in actuality, only the Jade Mini (30 to 50gf) and POM Jade minis (40 to 60gf) with a 100CNY price difference in the Chinese domestic market. The regulars are PC-POM-Nylon ,while the POMs are all POM
White not technically low profile the woiting 80he is impressiveness low profile considering that. The front height of the keyboard 6ishmm taller than this keyboard and at a shallower typing angle of 2 degrees vs 5 here
@@VarjoPira Mine too but im still using ansi. Your computer will still treat it like iso keyboard, just keycaps are different. If you have more(not different) buttons on the iso, you can rebind that in the software.
Are you sure you received the magnetic jade non pros? The non pros looks like they have a clear PC top, but in the vid it looks like the same top the pros have unless you changed the switches out after.
This is a great observation. The description says Gateron Low-Profile Magnetic Jade. It also doesn't say Pro on the box next to the switch type. I wasn't paying attention when I uploaded the image to my video but you are correct the non pros do appear to have a transparent top casing. This must be why they feel a bit heavier compared to the original jades to me. Sorry I never caught onto this. Guess I always need to double check everything
That's what's up! You mentioned mod-tap but I'm curious how key customization is has, if it supports qmk (guess I'll find out further in the video). If they made an ortholinear version in 75 and 80% with silent switches, that would be the tits.
Looks great one thing has put me off about low profile boards is finding new keycaps is it more common nowadays? other than that I really enjoy low profile boards
If this was wireless id buy it today. Don't need 8k, give 500hz and its good enough. There's a SERIOUS lack of 60% HE keyboards. It's weird how everyone's copying wooting, except the 60% part. The only 60% he are few and usually cheap and bad. I like minimalism - i never ever use f row, or arrows, or any of those keys. I'd be fine with like a 50 key keyboard without right shift alt, page up down, end, tab, caps lock, etc. Give me minimalism. I don't want keys i don't use.

@@combataran i read at 04:36 "Magnetic Jade" and "Magnetic Jade PRO"
@@combataranwould the full POM version make it worse for gaming due to requiring more force? Which version would you get if price isn’t an issue?
Low profile Hall effect is the only one I’m interested in right now keyboard-wise

Perfection!Just what I wanted for all these years!
By far the best video I have watched about this keyboard. Great job. Preordered.
First channel I see to actually test the latency. Love the review
Got one arriving later this week, real hyped to get my hands on it!
Wooting who?
Waiting for the Air75 HE
NuPhy needs to make a 75% of this keyboard!
they do now. i still do not know which one i want
@ man thank you for telling me, I’m ordering the 75 right now haha
i really hope they make a 75% version of this hopefully with more standard color options sooner than later
I was extremely interested when I first saw this a month ago.
But NuPhy needs to start offering ISO layouts.
Switch to ansi, you wont regret it!
@@ImOnlyHereForTheZipline my native language requires ISO.

Damn, just when I bought a low profile optical keyboard thinking low profile hall effect is still a ways off

@@AimAdapt No worries! Thanks for the clarification!
Not bad. I am happy with my ATK RS 7 Pro. They have recently added Rappy Snappy function which works perfectly.
What's the point of south facing leds on low profile keyboard? No cherry interference possible and it makes shine through keycaps useless.
LED heat interference with the he switch
@@tunezalt8968 wtf are you talking about? If you rotate the switch and led position by 180 their relative positions to each other stay the same
I just bought this. Its incredible. Im coming from a second hand 5 dollar dell keyboard lol. Night and day difference.
great review

It's not an issue.
I do have 2 low profile Nuphy boards, and while I love using them it would be a lie to say we're not limited when it comes down to keycap options.
how do youi make those effects on the mouse, how do you call this?
I really wish Air75 HE Wireless could be a thing. That would be the endgame for me.
Same with me brother! I'm never buying a keyboard after an air75HE
I can tell you that they confirmed to me, that an Air75 HE is in the works.
Wireless he doesn't really exist rn
they said a month ago it will be announced october/november
wireless is difficult, since he boards use a lot more electricity
I'm waiting for you to do the 80HE and some more interesting HE boards like Su75 or Made 84 Pro
Can I buy the keys separately?
Great video! discount code not working though fyi
Is there a 96% or 98% version?
What exactly is the selling point of the Jade Pro? I don't understand what makes them "Pro".
Premium materials. Full pom. Supposed to be smoother.
left side usb is for people that put it ontop of their laptop

That sounds terrible good lord
right?! my first thoughts exactly
Maybe not terrible, but a step back compared to Air V2 line
