Had to update my last post, had a chat with my Irish bud over a pint today to tell him that I watched this, he surprised the crap out of me when he asked me if the documentary mentioned his first cousin........a guy who they call Joey Dunlop! He recalled Joey buying him one of his first pints of Guinness shortly after his eighteenth birthday when he was there on vacation. I told him, you're related to an Irish racing legend....😊❤❤❤❤
When Joey said the worst bit about the boat sinking was watching the bikes go under the water the said “you felt like greeting” thats North Antrim talk for crying if you need a translation.

This is a great film
I remember the commentary at 42:00, we were watching at at Ramsey, because thankfully we couldn't get a spot at Ballaugh. To this day it still makes my blood run cold. Rip Gene Mcdonnell.

Love this documentary.
My best friends grandmother lived in the family homestead and farm right along the road that they hold this historical event, until the ripe old age of 102 years old! I feel for the families of the unfortunate victims, but they understand that it's all part of the tradition of this Irish institution of man and motorcycle. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

The late Claus Klein was tragically killed in front of me as he started the second lap of the TT F1 race at the Ulster Grand Prix 1987
