- The Game of Yu-Gi-Oh is full of binaries. You can build boards or break them. Tailor your strategy for aggro or control. Attack or defend. Binary Sorceress. There’s also the coin flip binary, but an interesting thing happens with coin cards in Yu-Gi-Oh. Sometimes they’re not so heads or tails, and in this list we’ll be running down the jankiest, most unpredictable cards that flip coins.

addicted to gambling arc??
It's the Joey Wheeler series lol
Logs loves playing gamble cards so nothing new here haha
Most people stop uploading videos before they hit it big
Logs probably planning a Vegas trip
Ok, yes
Duel Logs spent a whole hour doing research on coin flips and probability for the first gamble effects video and decided he wants to get as much value out of that as possible.
Tbf the only research Logs had to do was looking at his old Master Duel replays
his writers research for him, duel logs doesnt do anything but read the script, dont fall for it.
@@MasterMix291 He's streamed before and those show that he's basically a lesser version of MBT when it comes to making jank work. He's also the owner and organizer of the Logs channels. It's not like he's just a script reader.
Fun fact: If you have a 60 card deck and play origami goddess on turn 1, the most atk it can technically get itself to is 259,614,842,926,741,381,426,524,816,461,004,800 with 111 heads; any more than that and its draw effect would deck yourself out.
Holy shit
No fucking way your so based your literally inspiring me to do some shit like this congrats man
I'm not even being sarcastic this is the coolest shit and the fact that you probably did this shit while looking through ALL the cards that do a bunch of coins
@@ttack_And_Snack He didn't have to look at all the cards. It's the hypothetical max of origami goddess's once per turn coin flip effect. It's hypothetically possibly to give her more via other cards with coin flip effects. Cuz once you've drawn your entire deck you can play all those coin flip spell cards you stacked your deck with.
@@kyuven there are multiple cards that require more than one coin flip cards meaning that he had to do research beforehand to make sure he could do more than that
Wow, that Origami Goddess card sounds fun to try and use.
One day I tried to play it in a some sort of gamble deck. Luck was on my side and I got 6 heads, that gave me 3 cards. Gamble cards can be really funny and powerful if you are lucky enough
The artwork for Lucky Punch says it all, “HOW did that work?!”
Fun fact regarding Gatling Dragon and Goat Format: Of the Level 8 Fusions available in Goat Format, Gatling Dragon is the only one that can be Summoned with Metamorphosis. There are two other Level 8 Fusions in Goat Format, namely XYZ-Dragon Cannon and Dark Paladin, but because of those cards' Summon restrictions, they cannot be Summoned with Metamorphosis.
strange, I thought Paladin was level 9 for some reason...
Mandela effect strikes again I guess
Man i wish that paladin didn’t have that restriction. Imagine a format where he ruled…
There's no twin cyber dragon yet?
@@HeheHihi-zj6po twin cyber wasnt in goat format
"We'll call that a head count." Oh for fuck sake, good one.
My favorite interaction with lucky punch I've ever had was in duel links vs normal Carly. She ran it, got the 3 tails, have her goofy smile and then just blew up
It was literally out of a gag manga
You’d need to have Joey Wheeler’s type of luck when playing any of these gamble cards and to pull them off correctly
Just possess Number 7: Lucky Straight and your luck will always land in your favor.
Or eat the Luck-Luck fruit.
I can definitely see Joey playing Origami Goddess as a last resort card kind of like Time Wizard. Leave the end of the game all up to chance.
I have areal soft spot in my hear for Gatling dragon (and all the barrel dragons) because how great they felt in the old games.
Let's not forget something addressed earlier in the vid when talking about Origami Goddess. She doesn't double her original attack (Since if she did, the effect would be pointless)
You want to make Origami goddess more absurd? Add more attack before activating her effect. 2000 attack from psychic blade? Now you only need 2 heads to hit 8000. Any attack boosting effect becomes far more significant when you can multiply it multiple times. To the point where it can actually matter.
It’s an old one and a simple one but Gamble, draw 5 or skip your next turn is pretty insane. I love using gimmick decks and I resolved it once using a Joey wheeler luck deck 😂
the scripts for these gamble videos have been really good
Lucky Punch is actually super broken in Duel Links with Joey's "Luck On Your Side Skill" (all coin flips result in Heads when your LP is lower than 1000); play
so would it soft lock the game if you used origami goddess with this skill?!🤣
@@NvrPhazed The wording on the effect says "you can" toss a coin until the result is tails, which means you can stop whenever you want to.
Man Logs really love the concept of RNG in card game lol
Origami Goddess is fun. Most of the times, her effect fails, but if you are lucky enough, she can surpass Number CI1000 ATK haha.
Menkoumori freaks me out. Those wings look like the palmar aspect of hands/fingers.
The gamble arc is going strong at the moment.
I wonder what will be on the next episode of the gambling arc?
Coin flips.
Too many of the gambling cards, even the actually good ones can be inteferred with... which ironically makes them even more of a gamble, Joey would be so PROUD!
The dealer in Big Win looks like Sand Gambler, which is neat.
Unless that is Sand Gambler, in which case, that some spicy LORE.
Origami Goddess seems like she'd be perfect for an Equip Card based strategy. She could get easily get ridiculously OP with help from Equip Cards like United We Stand and Mage Power. Also she doesn't even need to have the heads result be from her own coin flips since it doesn't specify which card effect the coin flip is coming from.
Honestly I'm thinking I might wanna make a deck with her for fun cuz she seems like she could be really fun to use in casual play.
One of THE most satisfying things I've ever done in a Yugioh game back in the day was equipping Goddess of Whim with united we stand and mage power and getting her effect off with a full board. I forget which game it was, but one-shotting an opponent like that, had me on a high for the rest of the day.
I used a deck that actually used Tour of Doom: a slime token lockdown/beatdown deck. Jam Breeding Machine already locks you out of normal summons, so Tour of Doom adds a nice 50/50 shot at either doing nothing to you or locking down your opponent's normal summons.
"Big Win" is one of my favorite self-otk cards when the events in DL stink and people take years to play their turns; two losses = 1 win and they are MUCH faster to achieve. People combo off for a year even if you just pass your turn. Cant stand it sometimes.
White veil + dicephoon is great though.
Origami goddes effect sound fun to use
Arcana Forazu Numba #21 Za...Warrudo..
"foozu" but works
same seiyu/VA as well kek
probably the sole reason he was later casted as DIO
Arcana Reading is proof of just how much Za Warudo affects all Arcana Force legacy support
Heads, you get an extra normal summon, tails, your opponent gets to search anything from their deck.
Beaver warrior to Origami Goddess: Finally, a worthy opponent. Our battle will be legendary!
I used origami goddess in my voiceless deck because you can bring her out with diviner. One time I made her go up to like 16k just from one of her effect. I was so sad because I should of bought a lottery ticket instead.
The Vaylantz archetype is basically "Stratego!" in card form. There's no other possibility in my mind that's what the archetype is inspired by. I've never played Stratego myself, but the fact there's an archetype based on that board game has reignited my interest in YGO! Which is quite a feat as I haven't dueled since at least 2020, in person or online. Master Duel and Duel Links are unappealing to me, by the way.
That's not how Stratego works because in Stratego all the power levels are hidden
22:21 BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! I doubt there would be another opportunity to do this on your channel
I mean if one look at Atem's choice of wardrobe doesn't tell you this is a game of binaries idk what will
That's not Atem's fashion sense, it's Yugi's.
Bro is on his gambling addiction ark, one video a day is phenomenal!
Menkoumori can also be used in Floowandereeze: it can force any opponent's monster to Attack to have Empen block it
Let's goooooo gamblecore Logs arc
Somebody call Dotodoya, he's gotta make a video with these
Idea for a “Mad-Magician” suite of monsters that have Coin AND Die effects:
_Mad Magician of the Archfiends_ (DARK)
Level 6
Pendulum Scales: 7⬅️➡️7
_If you would take it inflict any amount of damage, you can toss a coin and call it. If you call it correctly, that damage is either doubled or halved (Your Choice). If you call it wrong, that damage is either doubled or halved (your opponent’s choice). Once per turn, you can roll a Six-Sided Die: Increase or Decrease this card’s Pendulum Scales by up to equal to or less than the result._
Spellcaster/Pendulum/Tuner/Effect
_While this card is in your hand or GY, you can toss a coin and call it (Quick Effect): If you call it right, Special Summon it. If you call it wrong, Your Opponent can Special Summon it. You can roll a six-sided Die (Quick Effect), and your opponent can call the result. If your opponent calls it wrong, special summon 1 DARK Monster from your hand or deck whose level is equal to or less than the result. If your opponent calls it correctly, they can special summon 1 DARK monster from their Hand or Deck whose level is equal to or less than the result. You can only use each effect of “Mad Magician of the Archfiends” Once Per Turn._
ATK/2500 DEF/2500
And there would be others for each Attribute, and each one would be part of a pre-existing archetype that’s related to said attributes, and the effects would mostly be the same, except for the attributes of the monsters the monster Die effect can summon.
origami goddess otk sounds fun :3
Please make a video on the Watts! One of my favorite archetypes.
I’m a returning player for the card game and wanna switch from running Cyber Dragons and start running Dark World cards could you make a video about top 10 best Extra Deck Fiend Monsters. maybe it’s already done on the channel and I couldn’t find it, a link would be appreciated.
i love youtube. i was watching a video about neclear bomb testing, the a car of a porsche gt3 rs and now i learn about yugioh gambling cards.
everything a guy needs
If I use Second Coin to redo Blowback Dragon's coin toss, would Origami Goddess take all the heads, or will the original coin toss be considered non-existent, or will it only apply the original coin toss?
its actually really easy to rig a coinflip; keep the face you want on the bottom, flip the coin well, and when you turn it over on your palm it'll be the face ou want
I used Tour of Doom in an old stall deck, since I mostly only set monsters and traps, the downside didn't really effect me.
22:21 Vaylantz let’s gooooo
10 videos in a row based on luck, actual gambling addict :((((((( love your videos though, thanks for existing
The moon is rising and it is a generic light fiend link monster that looks fun to use but that'll probably shake the meta as extender
Please do Top 10 archetypes with multiple summoning methods, must have more than 2 because almost all of the archetypes received a link monster !
What's with the empty space on the right at around 18:40 at Chaos Neos' part?
Regarding Origami Goddess, am I reading it right that the double only cares about the number of coin flips, not the results? Would a card that flips three coins trigger three doublings? :3
I am so inclined to build an Origami Goddess turbo OTK after watching this video lol
I thought Gamble would appear on the list. Draw 5 or skip your next turn? You'll never know until you toss a coin.
Make a “failed cards, etc.” video on naturia please! Also, how about a “top 10 cards NEVER restricted in any way, but were widely considered to be hit on a banlist” (ex. Dante)
Mr logs please give list for gambling normal trap like gamble please
So i can consistently use it with my rollback paleo deck
Could you use barrel behind the door with lucky punch
Counter trap cards don't work against already active continuous spell/traps,
And if that wasn't your intended question, you can only respond with a counter trap if the card you are trying to respond will fulfill the requirements immediately
Lucky Punch used to be a staple of my suicide deck in Duel Links.
Second coin toss negates the previous coin toss, so it would just gain the attack of the second result's heads because it's on resolution.
So many old cards... why can i feel the smell of cards out of packs?
for a second I thought Tour of Doom locked a player out of normal and special summons, but only normal and flip is lame.
Origami goddess also doesn't have original in their effect text black pendant would start her at 600 and as such it would only take 4 heads to otk and if you had a second one it would only take 3 heads. Going from .8% to either 6 to 12 percent odds
LET'S GO GAMBLING! AH, DANG IT. AH, DANG IT. AH, DANG IT. AH, DANG IT.
My man logs just wanted to talk about coin flips
Most people concede before they win big 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Tfw an interesting happens
@duellogs I think you need to call the gambling hotline friend
Origami goddess, could be equipped too
What happens if Gatling Dragon cant find 3 targets? (only 2 monsters of the field)
Big win should have been a quick play spell card to possibly help out with high level extra deck plays. As a trap it’s worthless
If there ever was a top 10 of the best armpits, Goddess of Whim would be at the top.
Oh yeah, coin flips are cool too!
Top 10 cards with Spell Speed 2 Destruction
Let’s go gambling. Oh daren’t
Axe of despair on origami goddess first lol
The DuelLogs big GAMBA ARC
Didn't know hakari was a yu gi oh fan
I never knew there were so many absurd gambling effects.
Euro fooball championship? Gambling video? Yup it fits me well
I'm enjoying the gamblic era.
Let’s go gambling! Aw dang it!
I want to know what are your top 10 favorite archetypes
Top 10 cards that used to be banned
Sartorius Kumar? And I thought his name is Takuma Saio
Nah, I'd gamble
11:24 If you do the same thing, it would have less attack, wouldn't it? because you added the equip after the doubling 🤔
Alright, Origami Goddess deck when??
Hold up
Lemme cook real quick
13:11 melffy mommy mentioned!!!!!!
Can anyone settle an argument for me? Can you activate "Barrel Behind the door" in response to your own Lucky punch?
But they didn't forget to censor 'BIG WIN!?' tho? You're showing the ocg artwork but in the tcg artwork the dealer is using the tcg versions of exodia.
This episode seems alot sillier than usual
Imagine flipping so many heads in a row with Origami Goddess that you lose by decking out. It'll never happen, but imagine.
lucky punch price probably just rose
Oh, they finally copied mtg and made a coin flip monster with power doubling (and the card draw, it's literally like they took 2 creatures from magic and mushed them together albeit a little watered down). As someone that loves Okaun and Zndrsplt, this makes me actually interested in making a yugioh deck for the first time in a long time.
You forgot to mention that origami goddess doubles current atk, not original, so with just an axe of despair, you only need 3 heads to get over 8k atk
Why use Axe of Despair when you could use Mage Power or United We Stand instead?
"My origami godess with 1.2m attack swings for game!"
*reveals Kuriboh*
"Okay....next turn let's go!"
*reveals Kiteroid*
"3rd times the charm"
*activates defense draw*
"4th."
*second copy of defense draw*
"5th!"
*banishes Kiteroid*
".....6th?"
*activates magic cylinder*
Top 10 most expensive secret rares at their peak price?
The script writing feels oddly different this time around, did you start trying to make the card intros diferent or was this chat gpt?
