Very well done! Side note to all you aspiring Red Dragons: don't threaten a giant city, demand tribute of both flesh and wealth, and then give them 10 years to plan and finance every conceivable way to murder you. An adult Red Dragon is an awe-inspiring force. However, a city of humanoids is often adorned with skulls, scales, and trinkets of dragons in their dozens.
Dragons are not arrogant. Short of true immortals they enjoy the longest lives of any mortal creature. They are the confluence of the weave, the elemental, the monstrous, and the keenest sentience. On an individual scale, the only thing that eclipses a dragon, is a greater dragon.
This is awesome. I rewatched already five times, and your video reignited my belief that reds are the pinnacle of the dragon kind. Full of pride and rageful, yet prepared to any confrontation and with immense raw power. None is their equal!
Dear Delver of Dungeons, thank you for the amazing content you provide for us. You are part of the reason I came to love DnD and dragons in particular. You have stocked the flames of my creativity and I am infinitely grateful. I enjoy watching your videos so much, I love your creative mind. Your scrips just keep getting better and better along with your voice acting. You never miss a mark. You’re just incredible and your videos are always so spectacular. Please never stop creating, no matter where you go or what you do, never ever stop creating. Because when you release your passion it turns this colorless world into something fantastical. THANK YOU. 🩷🩷🩷
I love these videos. Watching these dragon videos has inspired me to make my own, Dragon characters also working on my own journal about dragons Keep up the good work
love your videos so much! my favorite dnd character ive ever played is a red draconic sorcerer who along with his party stopped the rise of tiamat and this sunset wyrm lives very close to his ancestor and would be an amazing epilogue villain. hope you make it to 10k you totally deserve it!
Now perhaps you'd like to envision life through the greatest of all dragons, the Faerie Dragons! We'd be happy to share our stories... in exchange for treats!
Did he leave the corpse of the blue dragon? Wouldn't people make weapons and armor out of it and then use said weapons and armor against him in ten years?
If they dare risk it. They could end up at best as amusement for the red dragon as he melts their champions armor and all for entertainment... or at worst, he decides to raze the entire kingdom to ashes for their insolence.
In 6th edition you will be able to cast spells like "Racist Guilt" on such a creature, forcing it to kneel meekly for 1d6 turns unless it makes a saving throw modified by its bigotry score.
Incidentally, this is fifth Ed crap. Red dragons are regarded as completely fanatical parents. Seriously second Ed monster manual says reds are guarded by their parents for well over a century before being ordered from the nest.
From the other point of view, harsh treatment and environment are good reasons why they are so deadly fighters and take measures for any situation. Also, it's a good thing that in DnD your headcanon is canon.
@@auditor7613 Actually, if we are going to be technical. The arbiters of cannon are always the original creators. In this case Gygax and Greenwood. Buying an IP is not the same as being the arbiter of cannon. I could buy the statue of David, but chiseling his junk off and calling him Daniel does not mean it was always a statue of a “stunning and brave” woman all along. A bit dramatic, but the forgotten realms were established for decades before WotC printed the Alpha edition of MTG and even longer before WotC bought TSR.
@@mikewaterfield3599 I understand your point. What I meant was more in personal way than technical. DnD is created to help you put your imagination on table and use it in game. You are not erestricted to any lore. As example, metalic dragons live twice as long as chromatic in lore. However , if I ever to run a campaign as a dm there is no way that my chromatic babies are inferior to their metalic cousins in any way. All this info is meant to help you start imagining your own stuff, not stick to already created piece of literature stricktly.

Poor wizard stood no chance. Yeah this dragon right here is gonna go far in his long life.
the wizard WON. he wanted the blue dragon dead, and hes alive
@@MrFantocan Maybe yes, maybe not... If he isn't at least lvl 17 to have clone, he is dead as the Blue Wyrm
Throughout the eyes of a moster is an interesting and fresh framing device... I quite enjoy the series so far... Well done
it really is good

i feared the red would be showered in lightning, good thing the blue did not have time to prepare lair actions

I was expecting a trap that involved the wizard and the Blue, but it never happened. Good thing for our red boi. 😂
i feared the red would be showered in lightning, good thing the blue did not have time to prepare lair actions

My favorite chromatic dragon.
Bro this is amazing! I'm so glad I found your channel!!!
Could you perhaps do dnd lore through the eyes of metalic dragons?
Top notch as always.
Good stories keep it coming

this was awsome dude holy shit

Well, reds ARE vain, proud and arrogant....
Perhaps 😌

That was amazing 👏. Can't wait for the next one .
CANT WAITTT
Love it and can't wait to see you at 10k!!!!
Awesome video as usual Delver
What about through the eyes of a lich ?
I hope you will show world of DND through other dragons eyes then chromatic and gold ones.
That was tasty. ❤ You should write a series of books.
Tyr Fall 🤣

The maiden thing kinda threw me. Was there a story behind that?
Red dragons like to eat young human maidens. Like "dragon captured the princess" stories. It's their favorite food
@@DelverofDungeons classic reds amirite? 😂
