I purchased an Eldris recently and it has quickly become one of my favorite EDC knives. I don't leave home without it.
This is one of those rare products where the commercial makes big claims and philosophies about its use but I actually completely agree as soon as I started using it. This knife really is a no brainer to own. It is a very very versatile and useful design, comfortable to use, and will stand up to the elements very well. Combine all that with the pocketable size, light weight, and affordable price and you've got another winning work horse knife that I will confidently be putting in my pocket every time I head outdoors.
i got one of these knifes in june and it don't need to be sharpen still now.
The Eldris has been with me on all tours for over years now. i love the little devil.
I had one sold it missed it and have now bought another again great knives going to get a little bundle of them
Wonderful and intelligent as all Morakniv. Greetings from Brazil!
Great knife!
I have an Eldris and absolutely love it. I have 3 Mora's I could go anywhere with. They are all incredible. However, if I had one minor thing to change about the Eldris, it would be this. The spine is super sharp all the way from top to bottom. I understand this is great for striking a ferro Rod, and have used it for that many times. However when doing small chores and carving, it has a tendency to eat up your thumb if you are not wearing gloves. If there is ever a next generation model of the Eldris, I think it would be great to have maybe only the top half portion of the spine sharpened for fire starting, and the back half rounded to rest your thumb for carving. Just my two cents though. Love my Mora's.
A very good idea.
I have two of these! i love these! And i do always have one with me!
It is always in my pocket!
ok.... I need a Eldris!!! Right now!!!
Bought one Mora knife years ago. Never looked at another knife the same way ever since. Best knives ever/
No, musím si Eldris také pořídit!!!
excellent presentation
good knife
I just got one of these nice little knife. I wish that it had a belt clip to secure on belt, if one wanted too but it's not to big for the pocket
What? I just bought the Companion Sparc! How can I continue to live?
In the video, that’s a much wider tang than I expected, and not such radical U-notches to prevent a shifting tang. I hope this is the way you design your Basic 511 and 546 tangs. In a handle cut away video by Cedric & Ada, the 511 tang back then looked much narrower, and with bigger notches that weakened the tang.
