    I’m recovering from my second brain cancer tumor removal surgery and you just gave me 15 minuets of escape from my pain and fear. Thank you. Also, Incase nobody ever told you...you’re pretty good with a chisel. 🤗 bless you and your family.

    Thought I saw "Samurai" out for supper in my hometown...then I saw the "chisel on" shirt and knew for sure. Took a lot of inner strength not to be "that guy" who geeks out and says how big a fan he is...but I am and this video is an example of why. Cheers.
    P.S. You're welcome for not interrupting your dinner...☺

    i like the way that you left the breadboards proud of the edge, mine have moved (as wood does) and now the little gap looks like a mistake rather than a design feature.

    I know you're probably not watching the comments on this video since it's so old, but I wish you would still make more videos like this. I've been watching you since about 2018 and you're the reason I finally got into woodworking in 2020.
    I'd love more of a how-to series or diy videos. Just a dream though. I want to learn from the master

    Turned out stunning. Love the design other than the separation in the middle but that's just stylistic difference and the eye of the beholder. Being a father of 6 myself I was laughing aloud when your son plugged the hole with his body! They will always find a way haha!

    Bro...I have to say - you are just a badass!!! Ive watched a lot of videos from... the same sort of genre... and you bro, are hands down 'Da Man' - A true craftsman! Your skill with.... is second to none! I grew up watching my dad use many of the same tools/instruments you wield... not quite the skillset you possess...but, your video... it's nostalgic - reminds me so much of him and the time he and I shared in the shop. I'm not real sure what to say... watching this just now really moved/made such an impression on me tonight... in so many ways! your video flooded my thoughts with so many of the good things he taught/instilled in me - Thank you! It's been a rough couple years and I forgot what it was like to feel like this - to be so emotional...in a good way! I never 'like', much less 'subscribe'...and I'm freakin' commenting! You have inspired me and for that I thank you!

      @bmbullman 6 років тому +1

      I like his work, but 10 part project vids are not satisfying. He has changed since he started out, and not for the better. Getting a vid out daily shouldn't be the goal if there's not going to be any progress made. It's a pretty common complaint among long time subscribers. He's part of the daily video grind that has taken over so many UA-cam channels recently.

    OMG that was an epic build! I am truly impressed with the skills you have and the old world building style. I only saw the few screws to secure the table top, and I dont think you even needed those you could have tenoned them on. Anyway Super impressive. Any consideration about epoxying the middle to make a river or lava theme? I have a long way to go before I can attempt that table.

      yes, that is right but I have seen awesome work with epoxy, done the person spent hours on the work. it was sold and lost were it had gone too the chair as well turn out well. as to the sale of the set, he pieced it very very high and never want to sell it but the person did pay the full piece of the sit, the table lite up in the middle and the work in the middle was awesome it gave that table life the bark of that tree was used in the middle give that table it looks
      too bad the craftsmen build it lost his home from a wildfire and lost all the pictures of the table lost the person's who bought it. the home was replaced he has not been building mush now lost interest after the home and the wood shop burned the tools were handed down from generations in his side of the family
