Hey guys, if you use barbecue sauce be super careful with the ingredients. Some barbecue sauces use a reduction of beef or pork "juices" to make the flavor. I'm sure there are plenty of barbecue sauces that are completely vegan, but be sure to read the labels!!
I'm vegetarian and the reason I stayed vegetarian is that I was scared that I wouldn't find anything good to eat by being vegan, but after watching your videos you have made amazing and affordable recipes and I will defiantly give veganism a shot!

I wanted to become a vegan again but every recipe I found was either a really long list or had expensive or hard to find ingredients. This isn’t a good reason to go vegan! I’m a triggered vegan and am going to share my thoughts. You should go vegan because of animal cruelty. You can go on a plant based diet because of this, but that’s different. You may claim it’s vegan, but it’s not.

If the first thing you do to new vegans is berate them about their reasons "not being good enough" especially if that reason is all that inspires them(at least for now) then they're going to go back to eating meat
Me, too. About 3 months now. It's hard if you're the only one in your family or even friends, but still, I think it's totally worth it and not as hard as many ppl think. I already veganized some of the traditional christmans cookie recipies from my family's cook book and they turned out great! :D

+Bella Tealz once you ban them out of your diet, you feel refreshed, healthy and clean. you eat so many fruits and veggies, automatically and it becomes completely usual to you. it is also going to increase your life expectancy up to 10 Years (watch documentaries, inform yourself! there is NO valid argument against vegetarism/veganism, it's the best thing to do for your body and very detoxing) once you are a veggie from your heart and you really feel it , you would never be able to go back bc you'd feel guilty for the animals and your body. let your mind and body experience that freshness of becoming cruelty free! it's more than amazing , it's shifting your entire mindset, it's life changing ♡
It's easy! There are so many videos like this that provide healthy, easy ideas. Once you get some simple recipes in the bag and have some "go to" recipes you'll have no problem!

You could use spinach instead! But give kale another try. Make sure you massage it (squish it with your hands to enhance the flavor and texture) with lemon juice before hand, and you can throw a dressing on it and let it sit overnight in the fridge to make it better.

I wouldn't recommend anyone using nuts in their school lunches because of the allergy risk. All schools in my country have a ban on nuts and I really think it's right of them to.
Yeah I'm allergic to peanuts so I hear you! The nuts can easily be replaced with sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds if need be! This one may be more suitable for college/university students!

I love all of your recipes!! Another great idea for anyone who packs lunch here, is a vegan version of Wendy's chicken apple salad. Just use some vegan grilled "chicken" I get mine from Gardein :) spinach diced apple (red and green) pecans (can omit If you have an allergy...but it adds AMAZING flavour) "chicken" strawberry or pomegranate vinaigrette (I usually can't find pomegranate...but strawberry is pretty good as well) vegan feta dehydrated cranberries
Rin Kath that's the beauty of going vegan and eating healthy like this. YOU CAN EAT AS MUCH AS YOU WANT. make large amounts of rice with these meals, extra wraps, whatever satisfies your tummy, no restrictions! :)
the thing about veganism, except for the fact that everything is more expensive (like the coconut cream or the blueberries), you *need* to eat more, for the fats so you pay more money on food. its expensive to be a vegan. i tried it for 10 months until i went broke and was feeling dizzy all the time, then i stopped. its a shame though cause i really care about animals... what can you do? some peoples' bodies cant handle veganism for long and some people's can.
Meow! I notice that when I eat really unhealthy or not enough I get really dizzy ! One time I got really sick when I went vegetarian but because I wasn't eating enough of the whole plant based foods, so maybe you're just not getting enough of what U need with what you're eating . I started out by cutting out red meat, then milk and then chicken and fish. It took me months to finally go vegan but I finally did it after a lot of attempts . Everyone's body is different, so don't give up !:)
You could make a smoothie with some cashews/almonds, some water and a banana. Tastes great. Also don't ear avocados pure, add them to your food like in a avocado and peanutbutter sandwich. Just be creative.

to make the beans softer, you can cook them (like you did for the video), then put them in a frying pan and smash them, and it would make them softer and taster (be sure to use a non stick pan or add a little olive oil before frying)

Try to marinate the tempe with grated garlic + water and little bit of salt. Keep it in the fridge up to 3-4days
Sometimes i add tumeric and cumin as well

You could also try baby kale. It's less bitter and less tough than regular kale. Tastes way better in my opinion.

I love all of your recipes!! Another great idea for anyone who packs lunch here, is a vegan version of Wendy's chicken apple salad. Just use some vegan grilled "chicken" I get mine from Gardein :)
spinach
diced apple (red and green)
pecans (can omit If you have an allergy...but it adds AMAZING flavour)
"chicken"
strawberry or pomegranate vinaigrette (I usually can't find pomegranate...but strawberry is pretty good as well)
vegan feta
dehydrated cranberries

Rin Kath that's the beauty of going vegan and eating healthy like this. YOU CAN EAT AS MUCH AS YOU WANT. make large amounts of rice with these meals, extra wraps, whatever satisfies your tummy, no restrictions! :)

the thing about veganism, except for the fact that everything is more expensive (like the coconut cream or the blueberries), you *need* to eat more, for the fats so you pay more money on food. its expensive to be a vegan. i tried it for 10 months until i went broke and was feeling dizzy all the time, then i stopped. its a shame though cause i really care about animals... what can you do? some peoples' bodies cant handle veganism for long and some people's can.
Meow! I notice that when I eat really unhealthy or not enough I get really dizzy ! One time I got really sick when I went vegetarian but because I wasn't eating enough of the whole plant based foods, so maybe you're just not getting enough of what U need with what you're eating . I started out by cutting out red meat, then milk and then chicken and fish. It took me months to finally go vegan but I finally did it after a lot of attempts . Everyone's body is different, so don't give up !:)

You could make a smoothie with some cashews/almonds, some water and a banana. Tastes great. Also don't ear avocados pure, add them to your food like in a avocado and peanutbutter sandwich. Just be creative.

to make the beans softer, you can cook them (like you did for the video), then put them in a frying pan and smash them, and it would make them softer and taster (be sure to use a non stick pan or add a little olive oil before frying)
