I know kite fighting sounds corny but it can be very fun with good friends. We do it a lot in India and even put glass pieces on the kite string to cut others strings.
Maybe it's just me, but i think it's fine that people occasionally want to do things separately. I wouldn't force anyone to do what they really don't want to I do know about football though....

My best friend Ben Patrick was the tight end for the Cardinals and he caught the first TD pass in the Super Bowl from Kurt Warner. That was an amazing game even though they didn’t win
While knowing the rules of football might not be the most important thing, once you learn them it certainly adds to the experience. Being able to recognize pass interference, or off sides, or intentional grounding, etc. as the play happens makes it more fun. That way you can argue with your friends and curse at the refs when they get it wrong! LOL!
Sadly it’s very common for some people to treat their friends like a spouse. Nothing to do with sexuality or attraction. It’s a dependency thing. When they aren’t in romantic relationships, or don’t have a good relationship with their families, they feel lonely and tend to cling to their friends in an unhealthy way which puts a strain on the friendships and can cause some to back away. I once had a friend begin calling me every day on their way home from work. After about 2 weeks of this, I had to have a very awkward but necessary conversation with them stating that I was beginning to feel uncomfortable with it. Another friend used to always complain if the group had plans with their own families and didn’t invite her along. The constant verbal whining and “pity parties” made it so the rest of the group just didn’t feel like hanging out with her at all and invited her less and less to any get-togethers. Family is family and will usually take priority over friends. In the same way, a spouse is your actual other half and you share your whole life with them. Using your friends as a substitute for that type of connection is never a good idea. At the end of the day, your friends are not your significant others, please don’t treat them as such, and you’ll keep them longer.
Boy did I cringe so hard at Leonard's 'attempt' to watch a football game with Penny's friends. He should have just kept his mouth shut and ask Penny about what is happening with the game.
Not a big fan of sports and never had a girlfriend, but I'm sure if I did have one and she was into football, I would just watch the game and not care what's going on. I'm sure she'd understand that I just want to spend time with her by partaking in something she enjoys. And while it's not necessary, maybe she'd want to partake in something I like to show her appreciation. If Leonard didn't try too hard like he did in this episode, Penny might consider trying Mystic Warlords of Ka'a again. Or maybe dressing up as Princess Leia or Supergirl for him during a 'fun night'.
Might wanna delete this comment and repost it as "Her name was Bernadette. It said it at the end credits." If you want to help him out while avoiding a kinda spoiler...
In football u use the feet, hands are not allowed, because it is foot-ball 🤪 I find it funny that Americans took the sport of rugby, then renamed it to football but since there is already a sport called football it had to be called american football and then they call the real football soccer, it is so confusing 🙂
As you go through the seasons, you will see how Leonard becomes a real jerk at times because of his insecurities over Penny. There were several episodes where I really disliked his character.

Leonard? Projecting insecurities?... PSHAW!!! 🤣🤪🤣
Sheldon's dad was a high school football coach
i dont think we know that until young sheldon though.
The episode "The Thanksgiving Decoupling" has some information about that
he was retconed to be football coach. originaly he was working in shop
@@alibabapirce9782 perhaps he still ends up there.
Either way his dad was a football fan and that's all the context we really need
By the end of every season I like to watch the bloopers, and it´s so funny... totally recommend it!
The La Brea Tar Pits are a famous tourist attraction in Los Angeles.
When I was a kid they had literal tar, and mammoth statues that simulated being stuck. I haven't been back in years. Perhaps it has changed.
Also another usage of the word ho. Got me dead xD.

I don't know anything about football. So i had no clue what you were talking about 😂

The La Brea Tar Pits are in L.A. and dinosaurs, mammoth and saber tooth tigers are in it👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I have a video clip of that very play he was watching and learning from... It was Brady to Gronk and it was a First down... lol

I think a best friend can replace a romantic partner. They can be ur other half
I have a feeling he's never heard of the La Brea Tar Pits. Like to visit myself one day if I'm ever out that way.
The only true football there is: European Football.
Soccer's cute, especially when they tie...
@@theshadowfax239 yea football the one where they actually usually their feet for 99% of the game and use a ball...not that weird hand egg thing
two different sports so saying one must be true is stupid
My son and I used to fly kites and we did have battle kites with fiberglass string that cuts string of other kites!!!🎏🎈⚡🌬🔻🔺🔸🔹
I hate it when Leonard tries too hard

Hopefully not Leia because it would probably lead to Sheldon going off on one of his rants about her not being blonde.
Westward Ho! I believe is the only place name with an exclamation mark.
I enjoy a good football game but dont follow any specific team. After all, I'm from Michigan, we have the Lions, sooo there's that.
Could any of these characters become a Cardinals fan?
You mean Bernadette, yeah you will see her again, alot.
Why tell this? Let him experience it himself! We didn't know she'll come back beforehand. Why should he??

Kites ho!
The Cards were cheated in that Super Bowl... Santonio had only one foot touching the turf. His right toe never touched.

Regardless of sportsmanship and teamwork, you still need to know the rules

The same with Howard being a real jerk with Bernadette before she became bossy.
