Just a few episodes ago penny told leonard he loved her. Remember in season three when penny told leonard in the she said the love word too soon and got hurt. So it is easy to understand penny being insecure since she has been hurt in the past after telling someone she loved them.
Yeah to me leonard was an asshole in this episode he knows she's insecure about learning and getting jealous but didn't care he should of told penny the moment it first happened
"I led her away from a life of sexual promiscuity by making her look at pictures of disease ridden genitalia." Has to be on of the funniest lines Sheldon ever says!
Hilarious 😂 btw if you have any open spots in your watch schedule coming up, may I recommend you fill it with Lockwood & Co? It's a really fun and spooky show, only one season, and barely anyone has reacted to it. Think you'd enjoy it!
13:33 -As far as the "Permanent" mascots go, true. However and to be fair, in 1981 General Mills did have a brand of _Strawberry Shortcake_ Cereals which featured that titular character as a Mascot on the box; there was also a Barbie (Doll) Cereal (Because: OF COURSE there was!) in 1989 (... I so miss all those great for the taste buds, though probably uber-bad for your health because of the enormous amount of added sugar to them, cereals, like Strawberry Shortcake, Boo Berries, Count Chocula, FrankenBerries, Pac-Man, Smores Crunch, Flintstones, Smurf Berries, Donkey Kong Junior and so many novelty cereals! Those were the days...)
The human resources scene was shown at a conference on autism that I attended with my mom. It was the first time I'd ever seen anything from the series. Before the scene was played, the speaker gave some context. They made it sound like Sheldon was just trying to protect Leonard and Penny's relationship, and I thought Alex was the one in the wrong here. How naïve I was. 😅 Also, because it was the first time I'd ever watch the series, I didn't know that it was the other lead characters that Sheldon was throwing under the bus.
@@ZukoHalliwell Actually, the writers have made it a point to not use any specific labels for the characters even if they likely fit certain diagnostic criteria so that people can connect and relate to different aspects that apply to them. Also, the thing is, while the show uses certain "stereotypes", the idea is to bring awareness and normalize these aspects, and show that these are just people all the same who have their own lives and relationships despite these peculiarities. The point was never to make fun or tell them to go "fix" it. There's an article that Mayim Bialik (Amy's actress) wrote on her website Grok Nation, where she discusses this topic. It's titled: "Mayim discusses the lack of psychiatric labels on ‘The Big Bang Theory’. It's worth a read for those interested! The last three paragraphs are basically what I was attempting to summarize, and honestly imo she explains it perfectly. Btw, I'm pretty sure she wrote this around the end of the airing of BBT so spoiler alert!
Ever seen '09 sitcom COMMUNITY...? Think you'd enjoy Ensemble cast like BBT. About a Community college study group and friendship. One character is autistic and often uses movies, tv and pop culture to relate. So that's a lot of fun that I think you'd really appreciate. Then there's the controversial figure, Pierce (Chevy Chase) who is an ignorant bigot, but not a hate filled neo- Nazi. He says offensive things that are ridiculous. But it is done in a funny manner. BBT often does this too...but very slyly. Howard will make Jewish jokes, because he's Jewish. Raj can complain that he doesn't want to go back to India because "it's hot...and there's SO many people" While true, it's not offensive coming from Raj. Community likes to play with your sensibilities on various subjects. But, it is one of the funniest, wackiest shows you'll ever see. Oh....and a whole lot of funny cameos by some pretty well known actors😁
Technically he wasn't right, but given he's got one bent chromosome, meaning he's not particuarly great at understanding things holisitically only simplistically, so he should be forgiven for being ignorant, callous and limited...
"im a what" always kills me no matter how many times i rewatch this show :D
Yeah her delivery is perfect!
I love how Eric thought Sheldon calling Alex a slave was insulting when it got much worse later 😂
Well, black people weren’t the only slaves in history. Every nation has contributed, there were even white slaves.
When he said Sheldon needs to go to HR, I was like be careful what you wish for 😭
“Is there an HR for the HR department?” was the exactly appropriate response to this interaction lol

@@kingseb2252 I agree
Congrats Eric! You are officially halfway done with the entire series! Looking forward to your reaction to the other half!
Not really a spoiler, but yes, we will see more of her in future episodes.
Didn't realize Regina King doesn't come into the show until this late, such a great character
Is there a HR department for the HR Department? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Eric that was a great one!
"I led her away from a life of sexual promiscuity by making her look at pictures of disease ridden genitalia."
Has to be on of the funniest lines Sheldon ever says!
This is one of the funniest episodes I’ve seen of Big Bang Theory
When Sheldon is in the HR Office, if there were ever a time for someone to facepalm themselves and exclaim, “Oh, Dr. Stupid!” this is it!
Ah, of course, the episode with Ricardo Shilly-Shally, Tondelaya della Ventimiglia, and Dr. Einstein von Brainstorm.
"2:13 Spock! Thiss...killinh....itt's......gotta stop."
"12:12 Vasz schie tha stein that tha bvillldr reffjvvszd?"
Molecules 🤓👌🏽

Good news for you, HR shows up a couple more times!
Lol Sheldon has no clue about women and his stereotypocal thinking is fun in a weird way 😂😂
And yet again Dr. Einstein Von Brainstorm done f'd up.
Nice Joey reference! The line is DEFINITELY a dot to Sheldon, LOL. 😂

In 1982 General Mills released Strawberry Shortcake's (a female character) cereal. Then in 2006 they also released Dora the Explorer breakfast cereal.
Yey! I'm waiting for this
Sheldon and Leonard are not ninjas at Jenga.
Regina King is awesome in anything she does.
Cant wait for Episode 18 😂😂😂😂😂
13:33 Did you find out in your research if that female mascot for the indie cereal brand happened because of this show brining it up?
01:53 Isn't Trix the Rabbit female?
13:20 Did I miss something with Sheldon's mother?
I forgot how sexist this show can be and how it goes to lengths to try and make the sexism not that bad... XD

Oh no 😬There are other, better scenes from this series to talk about autism sympathetically. This? Not so much.
@@kateorgera5907 Honestly, I find the idea of Sheldon being autistic a harmful stereotype.
@@ZukoHalliwell I agree. the writers when asked about this said he is not autistic or has aspergers.
Well technically alex and leonard were assholes but sheldon didn't defend anyone

Oooh, this one. I sometimes like to pretend this one doesn't exist. On the bright side, Regina King?
Sheldon messed up 😮

TBBT would've been cancelled.
