Eric, I'm the same way! I have surprised myself that the more I get to know a guy, the more physically attractive he becomes to me. I think it's an emotional thing. So Yeah, I agree that initial physical attraction is super low on the priority list for me because I know that the more emotionally invested in him I become, the more attractive he will be. But I'm also with you that my bar for other things is much higher so I still haven't found anyone.

I never understood how the show only verbally pushed the idea that penny is the one settling. Leonard has a great career, can afford his own stuff, has a car and a place, and enjoys what he does. Penny is a waitress and failed actress. The show quickly have up on her going to community college for unnecessary arguments.

I don't know why this episode was trying to tell its audience that it's normal to have sex after just 3 dates. Usually people date for months before having sex.
I don't think it's really fair to use the word "usually" because it entirely depends on the person. For the number of people that wait months at a time, there are just as many who like to go out to bars or clubs and hook up with a person they're never gonna see again within an hour of meeting them.
