i agree with you, but sometimes when you are given all of that info in one go you shortcircuit, most people arent really prepared to dealt with suddenly your partner telling you all of that after all. of course the right thing to do is to end it right there, but again, is easier said than done, and is easier when you are looking at it from outside instead of your own wife telling you. some people are more prepared for it and react at that moment, others get lost in themselves for a couple of months before suddenly realizing the deal, others sadly dont ever wake up.

@@arthaiser You’re correct. I guess I get irritated when someone goes along with something like this, because it reminds me of my earlier days. I never agreed to stay with a cheater, but I made a lot of stupid mistakes because my spine and boundaries were weak. But you’re correct - sometimes the hits are too much and (like this case) too bizarre to really take in all at once.

There's no such thing as a perfect marriage or relationship; each one is special. What makes one person happy might not make another person happy. But I've realized that there's always a way to solve problems. Five years ago, my wife and I were almost getting divorced because we had problems in our marriage, but we managed to sort things out. It was a difficult time, but we got through it.

She didn't get her chance to weave a story to make herself look better so she keeps blaming her victim for her pain. They want so bad to be able to tell a story that dumps their guilt so they can appear not as bad as it seems. So she'll spend the rest of her life blaming the guy who ghosted her for her pain instead of just accepting she did it to herself, taking accountability, and then moving on. Insane how cheaters always feel entitled to tell a story. What victim should be expected to listen to a liar make excuses and justifications for why they stabbed them in the back??

It always buggles the mind why a cheater wants to fix what they broke. They want to suddenly be faithful. But, it is too late. The amount of effort it takes to cheat on a partner and keep it concealed, is exhausting. If the cheater would have put the same effort into the relationship, there wouldn't be no cheating.

Harsh truths to remember. Women usually don't regret cheating, they regret being caught cheating. When she wants to open a relationship, she already has someone else and thinks you can't find someone selse or be happy without her. Don't forgive or stay, she'll see it as a weakness and permission for this behaviour. She won't change this pattern and go back to be the one you knew. As much as it hurts, when this happens, it's over and trying to salvage it will only prolong and worsen the pain. It's not wrong for her family to continue being there for her, but siding with a cheater, just like her friends, bad influence. Even worse, putting blame for the consequences on the one being cheated on. That's the same as enabling a drug addict.

Once he took control over the relationship and no longer cared about what she did, she noticed and he immediately became more attractive to her. The wife from story 2 wanted the emotional love and support from her husband and the sex from everyone else. Which she had the first few months when the husband was desperately trying to save his marriage, which is why she always seemed so happy. She had her cake and was eating it too. When the husband found someone else she found that the most important part, the emotional love and support , were far more important that the physical love. Physical love last mere moments in the grand scheme of things. Emotional love and support sees you through the turbulent ups and downs of life, especially the downs. She made her bed and now she can sleep in it. Also, since the marriage wasn't open BEFORE she slept with the dude from the office, she without a doubt cheated.

The thing about open relationships is that they can work and there's nothing wrong with them if the two partners agree to it. But sleeping with someone else before the subject is even brought up is not an 'open relationship', it's just straight up cheating. Story 1 - Why should he listen to her? He got closure the moment he caught her cheating. His commitment to ended why should he give her closure.

Gotta love when people try to force people to suffer infidelity just because it would make their lives easier.
The funny thing is, if the guy killed himself as a result of the cheating, everyone would blame her.
Either hold people accountable for their actions or just admit you don't really care and would prefer it if they worked it out amongst themselves

Every marriage and relationship is unique and special; there is no such thing as a perfect marriage or relationship. It's possible that the things that bring joy to one individual won't do the same for another. However, I have come to the realization that there is always a solution to a problem. We were on the verge of getting a divorce five years ago due to the difficulties that we were experiencing in our marriage; nevertheless, we were able to resolve the issues that we were having. It was a challenging period, but we were able to make it through it.

Open relationships are very popular right now? Fuck all that noise. They are super rare, just mildly less rare than before. That’s it.

In response to the first comment, she's human, meaning she knew all the bad things that'll happen to her if she ever got caught. Yet, she took the risk and is being punished for it. Before you cheat or do anything bad ask yourself, are you ready to handle the repercussions of your actions?
And for once, let us humans stop using the "he or she is human" lile to justify yoyr stupidity. It isn't fun and we won't grow as a race from so doing

Would be nice if you listed the stories you're reading either in the description or showed the username with the title.
Also, if you add commentary try coloring the commentary a different color. Sometimes the interjected commentary makes no sense to the story.
