Omg, I’m a fish person and I don’t actually keep reptiles but this little guy is the cutest. His little tongue… so pink. Will be super cool once he’s settled into his new home and is used to you. (Enclosure looks really good by the way) Can he be kept with a mate?

Nice looking enclosure! Try some bamboo as I have a colony and they're super bold and inquisitive and have been from day 1. I personally don't like the look of it but as these guys come from bamboo forests in the wild it makes sense. A horizontal piece spanning the tank under the basking spot would bring him out of hiding I bet.

Can they be fed fruits and mixes like panjey [ don't know how to spell it sorry 😅 ] or is it MUST to feed them insects?
