A question, the blue light is recommendes mantaing it on in the 10 or 12 hours of photoperiod or just red and led uvb?

I am looking at this light for dart frogs, does this system give off heat or do you need a separate heat source.

I had a couple of these over the years and thought they were overpriced trash, the uvb bulb always stopped working on them.
