Thanks young fellah - like many folk I’m just about to start fitting out the canopy with my own hand built cupboards and fridge slide - I think the timber sprayed or satin black looks so much better than stained despite the fact I go for Cabots timber stain with all the indoor furniture I’ve made - I also finish off with a carpet exterior for a premium look - loved the little one’s critique and the makings of a cabinet maker👷🏻♀️
No worries mate glad to help. You’re not wrong she’s always keen to jump in and have a go 👍🏽 I’m happy with the carpet look and probably wouldn’t change it but I’ve caught myself wondering how the stained look would go instead 😂
Hey mate, how did you mount it to the floor of the canopy ? Also how did you figure the dimensions of how much smaller the drawer needed to be from the outer box. Cheers
Hey Izzy, I mounted it down with L brackets from Bunnings. When building the interior drawer, I matched the drawer runners for length and just subtracted the width of the drawer slides from the outside edges and cut the front edge to the size I wanted.
Plenty of lollies in her pay packet mate 😂 Carpet I got from Bunnings and the drawer runners from Dunn and Watson. There should be a few links in the video description 👍🏽
Love the work mate! Can’t beat a custom setup, only thing I’d recommend as a cabinet maker by trade, PVA is a lot easier and cleaner to work with than liquid nails 😂 besides that and predrill your screw holes she’s mint 👌
Haven't mounted it in the box mate. I made the box a tight fit so it doesn't move, also it's close enough to the canopy door to never slide out while driving.
Hey mate, just used a cheap acrylic from Bunnings. Definitely could’ve used some better quality stuff but figured it wouldn’t be seen much either way 😂

@@OutNAboutAustralia how did the spray glue work? Any good?
Worked great mate, just let it get tacky then stuck it down 👌🏽
You did a great job

@@OutNAboutAustralia thanks mate I will have a look later :)
Cheap, budget and bunnings to not align in 2024. hahaha
God I hope not, I'll be broke real quick hahaha

Thanks for the tips mate.
Looks like I may have to redesign the fridge box so I’ll be sure to use them.
How did you mount the fridge inside the box though?
Haven't mounted it in the box mate.
I made the box a tight fit so it doesn't move, also it's close enough to the canopy door to never slide out while driving.
@Out N About Australia does the fridge come forward at all, or does it stay put on the carpet with its own weight.
@@standupandskate It stays put mate.
I haven't had it move at all on me yet!
What spray paint did you use?
Hey mate, just used a cheap acrylic from Bunnings.
