  • This is a guide for Charge Blade in MHGU, excluding the intro and outro. It is a condensed tutorial that should contain all of the necessary information to learn the basics of charge blade. It is by no means a complete guide that can make you a master at the weapon, it is strictly to get you started on charge blade. I plan to do an advanced guide at some point before MHRise gets release. Motion values will be included in the advanced charge blade guide, I didn't forget about them!! Time stamps down below if you want to skip around the video to watch just the parts you want to watch.
I currently have no plans to do a video for another weapon in MHGU, but if this video gets 20 likes, I'll do one other weapon that is just as complicated as charge blade. Comment down below if you want me to cover a specific blademaster weapon.
If you enjoyed the video, consider subscribing to the channel to see more content like this, as it motivates me to make more content for you, the audience. See you in the next one.

NGL, this guide is so much easier to follow than other videos. Amazing work!! I love that instead of just explaining combos and moves, you helped explain the "flow" of the weapon, and the tree of options that branch out. Definitely helped me understand it easier.

Extremely good video. You were to the point and very good at explaining the CB. It was good to watch even though i know a decent amount but you taught me a few things i did not know. Keep on making these amazing videos and i am excited to see you grow as a MH youtuber. That outro was unexpected and it gave me a chuckle. I am too excited for rise and it will be the perfect MH game for me. One question, what do you use to capture your switch? I would like to start recording some stuff and maybe doing some collabs with you for rise when i have the confidence to do youtube but dont feel obliged to do anything for my sake. Happy Hunting!

Most people recommend elgato but thats a bit pricey for me. I use the cheap capture cards on amazon. They cost around 13-30 depending on where you get it. Of course they have an overheating problem, but that just means you can only record videos and not stream. Also you need to learn the basics of obs to even make a video. Hope this helps!

@@greadyknight Thank you very much for the info. As you said capture cards are a bit pricy but i would go with anything as long as it works. Thanks for the help and i have used OBS a bit before but i have never really used it properly. Thank you!

My mannn im just starting out in mhgu I came from world then iceborne now rise im maining cb at the moment and did alatreon with cb back in iceborne so I guess I can say im familiar with this wonderful weapon, which style do you suggest I should try out or get comfortable with and any suggestions for armor and cb starter weapon? Thank for the video man 😁

In terms of playstyle, there is super spam and savage axe as the most prevalent styles. If you favored one of them, I would probably stick with that while getting accustomed to rise controls.
I have armor set videos on the channel. For early game, I'd watch the first one (the version 1.1.1 vid) before even looking at the end game version 2 and 1.1.2 videos.
For Early game cbs, i stuck with the kaiser line, upgraded it until i got access to the magnamlo line. Use that until you get nargacuga and later rajang.

@@greadyknight ooohh no not rise, in rise allready have like awesome saed and savage axe sets but I like to play mixed so I also have a mixed set, but my question was actually about mhgu since im starting out in that one :) thank you for the reply and trying to help me awesome stuff man !

@@tuigg8 i just realized this wasnt a rise vid. For mhgu, I used adept and valor mainly. Adept for safety, valor for end game stuff. For most of the game i rushed to get seregios cb and then stuck with it until i got the rustrazor charge blade. Hope this helps! Sorry again!

@@greadyknight mhgu update i to got the steve cb and play striker and valor style have rathalos armor now making my way to g rank, only 4 quests left including the 2 urgents also made the pizzaxe because its just the best weapon in the whole franchise xD man i think i love old-style monster hunter better then the newer versions

@@tuigg8 I really wished transmogs for weapons were in mhgu, so many cool designs, but some weapons were just bad stat wise. If I recall correctly one of the pizza cbs get to purple and white sharpness pretty early, so its a good mid game option

Hit back relative to your character and mash x simultaneously before your hunter slams the axe down during the u/s/aed animation

WHY IS THERE NO VIDEO OF DIABLOS VS CHARGE BLADE? i've been strugling....

    • @greadyknight
      @greadyknight  Рік тому +1

Sorry but i wont be posting any mhgu vodeos anymore.
As for matchup advice for mhgu:
Diablos charges around a lot. Let him come to you. Guardpoint/style evade as necessary. Stay by the feet to stay safe and force him to turn in your direction. Focus the head to get the ko and break the horns for an extra flinch on break.
Use ice charge blades for extra damage.

This is before i got a mic. I had to record with background noise so i toggled the muffler settings on my recording app to cut that out from the audio. It was either really bad + loud audio or quiet + clear audio
