For people looking for an affordable home that's a big improvement in design. I can however see where they're doing minor cost cutting to keep the price lower and improve profits. If they're keeping the house modern or contemporary in design then they need to carry the Shaker cabinet designs across the rest of the trim in the house such as the doors, which I'd also like to see higher quality solid core (A big quality of life feature in a small home). Upgrading to a basic quartz for the counter tops would match the look in the rest of the home. The fiberglass shower would be tiled with just a fiberglass pan to maintain the quality at a minimum. That tile in master bath like you suggested looks 10x better if you opt for the glossy white version. The deck is a 10/10, along with the cedar accents. Nice tour, always interesting to see what's changing in the different areas of the home market.
Dark Blue is the best. I just bought a Champion and did all the cabinets in dark blue. It turned out great. Nice change from the white cabinets that EVERYONE puts in houses.

Hi Chance. I am the one that spelled out your words a couple of years ago and you called me out for it. I don't comment much but I still watch your videos. I am glad you kept doing this. I happen to like the idea of manufactured. I do wish sometimes they used better quality lumber, such as actual plywood and less plastics. Thanks for all the reviews.
Excellent design in a small footprint! The offset roofs, cedar trim, front entry and back deck are all really attractive... way better than other manufacturers I'm seeing. Interior with the Great Room on one side, bedrooms on the other, is ideal. I wish this was for sale in Washington State!
I like the shotgun profile. We have a long narrow property, and something like this would work well out here. The number one thing I think most buyers of manufacturer homes should consider, is roof overhang. I would add an extension on both sides, to keep down mold.
I absolutely agree. My biggest pet peeve is no roof overhang, no type of covering over doors. I see it all the time on cheaply built homes, let alone prefabs or modulars. It's too important to be left off.
The house looks really good. Actually excellent. Only couple of things occur : Are they eavesdropping resistant or I have to invest in anti eavesdropping gadgets? It's weird, I did not like that countertop in the kitchen at all, but it actually works in the bathrooms. Also LOVE that blue sandstone tile in the shower of the master bathroom

It's a very cool design, and I love the porches and hall closet. Question: what are the differences between prefab, mobile and tiny homes? I'm new at this, not really clear on the distinctions other than tinys are about 399 sq and are either on wheels or a foundation. I'm researching now with the intention of finding a tiny/tinyish place in about two years. Thanks again, I'll share this with my friends in Washington!
I did my architectural thesis on underground homes in 1977. Unfortunately, the idea all but died. Here's hoping there is a rebirth of the concept. It is needed now more than ever. It will take some progressive people with money to break through the barriers and get the movement going for today's world. Anyone out there willing to take the leap?
This one is nice. I'm not a huge fan of open concept, but the way they arranged the furniture looks good. Love the entire exterior from the deck to the different sidings. And my road still has ice on it since they don't salt in my neighborhood but the main roads are good.
Hi there. Not bad but the living room looks like a doctor's waiting room. It's not relaxing I feel like I have to check in. Maybe use different furniture and work on placement too. Thanks for the tour. Stay safe out there. Take care and God bless
This home is beautiful. Im really thinking about buying some land and purchasing a prefab home!!!! Yeah it may be manufactured but its a way better investment than buying someone old house for $300k. I rather help manufacture my dream home, on my own land. Sounds like a dream...cant wait!
Hey Chance, I totally agree with your decision to stay put - especially down south. This isn’t an insult… you guys just don’t have the same experience us northerners do. I live in the Canadian Arctic right below the Arctic circle, so driving for us is completely different. First of all, you cannot drive to your town except for the two months that the Ice Highway is open (after that, it’s fly-in/fly-out only). And no, that’s not a euphemism; our roads are actually just made of ice to get here. On top of that, for the eight months of winter, we drive on the packed down snow that turns to ice.so I looked out the window with you in your hotel room and it looked like early June to me! Hope you had a safe drive home. One pro-tip: keep a bag of cheap kitty litter in your car’s trunk al winter. If you are stuck on ice and your tires are just spinning, it provides excellent and inexpensive traction. 😃

I'm new at this, not really clear on the distinctions other than tinys are about 399 sq and are either on wheels or a foundation. I'm researching now with the intention of finding a tiny/tinyish place in about two years.
Thanks again, I'll share this with my friends in Washington!
I like white with silver pulls.
Gold pulls don't do it for me, either. The gold peels off over time and ends up looking terrible. I like nickel.
Loved the dark cabinets in the kitchen. The contrast is perfect for my taste.
I prefer the bedrooms all together and (personal opinion) every master bath needs a nice deep stand alone tub! ;)
Not mine. Wait until you hit 60/70/80 trying to climb in and out of one.
Beautiful house. Doesn't look prefab! Excellent design. Wonder how much it costs?
Anyone ever thought about building these types of underground homes for the future? Wow underground Cities by 2032 🤔 Interesting
We had an underground house that was built where I grew up. Eventually, the elements got to it. They knocked it down.
This design is on point! I love the rustic modern farmhouse look it inspires me to paint my home matte black with the natural wood.
There should be a construction team to install it after you buy it, otherwise you won't dare to buy it.
Good job to the people that built this and to the designers as well
This one is nice. I'm not a huge fan of open concept, but the way they arranged the furniture looks good. Love the entire exterior from the deck to the different sidings. And my road still has ice on it since they don't salt in my neighborhood but the main roads are good.
Whats the price tag on one of these?
Hi there. Not bad but the living room looks like a doctor's waiting room. It's not relaxing I feel like I have to check in. Maybe use different furniture and work on placement too. Thanks for the tour. Stay safe out there. Take care and God bless
I like medium grey cabinets with black pulls, composite sink, white quartz countertops and backsplash. Stove centered in a long row of cabinets.
Stainless pulls should have been put on the dark cabinets to match the appliances
Take ALL of my money 😂😂😂 this is just fantastic!!! Extremely beautiful. Its just what my dreams ordered lol. Thanks for sharing.
Would love if they would make something that looks similar to this but around 800-1000sqft
That would be perfect
One less bedroom but a big walk in closet for the primary bedroom 😊
Cheaper to build you think?
Wonder the price difference
This home is beautiful. Im really thinking about buying some land and purchasing a prefab home!!!! Yeah it may be manufactured but its a way better investment than buying someone old house for $300k. I rather help manufacture my dream home, on my own land. Sounds like a dream...cant wait!
What’s the price tag on this?
The best thing about this home is the Main bedroom it’s nice roomy nice👍👍
How much does it cost?
Too much 😂to list
175.000-250000
16:25 pricing: 175K to 250K
Thanks!
