In 1990, my mom bought a single wide trailer house for like $5000. She paid it off in two years. We are now in 2024 and that thing is holding up like a champ !!!!!
I have an early 90's up on 2 acres by the lake. I had a good metal roof put on it and it's still solid. I had intended to build a house but after a while I became disabled and for me and the wife we are pretty comfortable in it. I paid $7,000 cash and $1600 to have it moved 55 miles and blocked up. It's good to be debt free
I was recently in a mobile home manufactured in 1975 It was on a concrete crawl space with an addition. It had held up well. The only thing it needed was rewired
@@CeruleanSky1111, it doesn't matter when it was built because mobile homes don't always do well in certain areas, especially Tornado Alley and Dixie Alley.
Here in Florida, (Not sure about other states) after Hurricane Andrew hit Florida in August of 1992, they made the mobile home manufacturers build mobile homes to a MUCH higher standard, which is basically the same standards as a wood-framed house, so all the ones built after that time are built much better. But as for mobile homes period, as long as you keep them climate-controlled and keep water out of them they'll last forever. So just like all houses, a good roof, siding, sealed windows, and dry plumbing are a must, and if you have those things you won't have much to worry about.
half a million... for a mobile home... I know they aren't built like they used to be, but they also aren't going to be a generational home either... That's wild! I mean it's gorgeous, but I could build one for that price. Edited to add***. This is 100% a trailer- it’s on wheels in 4 sections. Oh my Goodness!! I want this home!! It's absolutely perfect!!! I love the barn style! 😍😍😍 Over $500,000 for this home!!! Wow! 😮😮😮 Santa bring me this s home for Christmas, please!!! 🎁🌲🎅
If you're in AL you aren't buying a lottery ticket. Straight outta luck unless you're traveling to GA or.... And you'd buy a mobile if you won the lottery? With spending habits like that, you'll be broke before you know it. You'll be in it $750k before it gets completed. No thanks.
So.. roughly $175 a square foot for this home and that's with an unfinished second floor.. There's no way. A barndo in my area of Texas will run around $124 a sqft so this is wild.
@@joshuamoore3846 but if you have the options to choose a regular home and this mobile home with same price same location right next to each other, which one would you preferred?
I have been looking and browsing for possible ideas from the modular factory built homes, and theoretically this modular home was the very first one that popped up and I've been looking at several, and I have become stuck on this barndomin home, i love everything about it
Makes total sense that the top unfinished part comes flat packed on top for bridge clearance - then they use a construction crane to hinge the panels into place at its permanent location. I have no need for a house of this size, but it is a great innovation in the industry.
0:35 I love Everything about that house. A Jack and Jill bedrooms upstairs, with loft. And storage. Deer Valley... I'm playing the lottery. Can't imagine cooling and heating bill.

Hi Chance, I've just happened to come across this stunning house. Not only is it spacious, but the attention to detail is exceptional. Based on the price for the square footage I'd purchase this home as a house rather than a mobile home. Thanks for showing this unique and special property. 🙏🏾❤️🇬🇧

Chance, Wow! This home is amazing! You knocked it out of the park! This is now in my top 2 favorite homes you've ever shown. One of my favorite parts was that the commodes weren't crammed up next to the shower & in the master the commode closet was actually an excellent size. If I had a family, I'd consider buying it. But it's a smidge too big for the Hubs & I. Fantastic video! 😊
It is beautiful, thank you to the lovely lady who staged it! You wouldnt even think its a manufactured home from the inside. I LOVE the master suite with that amazing bathroom and that closet is perfection! Not sure I'd even use the upper part since its unfinished plus so much room on the main level. Half a million dollars plus have to buy land to put it on and have electric, gas, plumbing put in. For all that could probably just get a fairly new house somewhere already established
Yes, Chance?? This unique house is going to change the way people see a Barn, a House, And a Condo, All Rolled Into One!! Very Different, For Sure!! It Has A Rustic Feel To It!! The Interior Is Very Lovely ! Like Farmhouse Looking!! This Is A GAME CHANGER For Future Homes Like This One!!❤😊
Don't wake up. Keep dreaming sweetheart. You think about this home all day every day. You'll get there if you want it bad enough. There's power in positive thinking. I hope you get it. Keep the faith.
And I have to be just as honest and transparent with everybody as well chance .... This is a nice home that is grossly overpriced at $600k + delivery and install + permits adding (this does not come furnished so bring your own appliances or add 💸💸) another 200k ( give or take) making this an 800k home all in.
I know this video was posted a few months back but I'm finally getting around to watching it and WOW! Another one right up my alley. Now, I do have to agree with a lot of the other comments on here, the estimated price for this model is seriously rich for a manufactured/modular home and the fireplace downstairs is ABSOLUTELY without a doubt, in the wrong place. With all that said though, the possibilities with this particular model are nearly endless and were money not a sticking point...I could totally see myself living in this with my family (granted my other half would probably say it's too much space for us but I LIKE IT! and there's almost no such thing as too much space in my book). Btw...before you said anything about the smaller model next it, I thought it might be a matching detached garage option (something they should probably consider).
Perfect Chance, just perfect, love the 3 way fireplace and walk in pantry, especially the size, and I'll take some oreos and milk as well, the upstairs would make a great storage area too.
You've got the best personality and so fun showing us all these homes you do God bless you Chance this is such a beautiful home this is a true dream house they built it so beautiful love the kitchen well love all of it thank you so much for your amazing tour

Packing my bags...lol. Unbelievable!! Definitely the most gorgeous pre fab home on the market. Love, love it inside and out!! Fantastic find, Chance. As always, God bless you and yours and safe travels.🙏😀
But I've been watching this video over and over several times, and I have decided that I'm going to have to call and check on certain things, I guess over the years that drywall is required part of house building, I don't think drywall will burn, but between the 2'x6' stud work they've done for the wall support, it's even better, l have lost interest in having anything painted, I would prefer everything to be wood-panelling ,I guess I'm just different ,but this barndo is the one I want, I think I'm going after the cozy cabin as well
I see people saying it cost 1/2 a million? I live in Florida & there are block style construction homes with granite or other stone counters that are much safer, more sturdy to the elements in the $300's! This home is way over priced for a modular home! It may look pretty but will it hold up to a hurricane? And because it is a modular home, insurance is higher & some insurances won't even cover it! You'd be better off taking that 1/2 million & invest in the same home built out of block & wood. Sorry, not trying to be negative but realistic. Plus, the home values aren't as stable as a regular or block home as far as investment & resale.

Barndominiums are popular in Texas where I live, never in my wildest dreams would I expect this to be a $500k home when 1,000 sqft are unfinished. I really like it, only thinking of a couple of improvements or swaps, but I can have my land improved, and a customer home builder completely finish the build for this price, I’m literally shocked by the cost, really, however that was the best master bathroom set up I’ve seen in any of the dozens of videos I’ve watched of yours. The other expense I will have is adding a lifter small elevator to the 2nd floor for my husband, I’d make the top floor an office with a full bathroom, and yoga studio where my daughter can hold her classes, our land is beautiful so the view would be amazing
This is a beautiful home. Much too large for me and hubby. I might would consider it with the middle section with much higher ceilings. No second floor. Gorgeous!

This home is FANTASTIC! There's always something that makes me think, "naw, not this one," but, but, this IS the one! Hands down!
Haha, glad you like it!
So glad they didn't do something that went out of style 5 years ago, like black/white/gray modern farmhouse decor. Only 4x markup from an actual bardominium.
Unfortunately
I passed by this yesterday on 78 it's absolutely beautiful 😍
Oh my Goodness!! I want this home!! It's absolutely perfect!!! I love the barn style! 😍😍😍 Over $500,000 for this home!!! Wow! 😮😮😮 Santa bring me this s home for Christmas, please!!! 🎁🌲🎅
You're such a great tour guide. This home is absolutely amazing.
Thank you so much!
That’s it! I’m buying a lottery ticket. Chance u tour my home when I buy this one. 2 eggs over easy coming right up. Bring the fam.
You're buying a prefab home if you win the lottery??? What!???
If you're in AL you aren't buying a lottery ticket. Straight outta luck unless you're traveling to GA or....
And you'd buy a mobile if you won the lottery? With spending habits like that, you'll be broke before you know it. You'll be in it $750k before it gets completed. No thanks.
So.. roughly $175 a square foot for this home and that's with an unfinished second floor.. There's no way. A barndo in my area of Texas will run around $124 a sqft so this is wild.
Yeah this is a beautiful home but severely overpriced
Not to mention you still have to purchase the land.
@@atlantaga7053 mobile home to be exact. lol
@@Tempest.213doesn't matter, they hold their value and appreciate almost the same as regular homes now.
@@joshuamoore3846 but if you have the options to choose a regular home and this mobile home with same price same location right next to each other, which one would you preferred?
I have been looking and browsing for possible ideas from the modular factory built homes, and theoretically this modular home was the very first one that popped up and I've been looking at several, and I have become stuck on this barndomin home, i love everything about it
OMG I love it! It's huge! I could never afford it, and my arthritis makes a second floor useless. But this one is a delight to tour. Thanks, Chance.
Though if you insulate it right and use an efficient air/heat system, the cost to heat and cool this thing would likely be reasonable.
@@Libertaro-i2u solar? radiant heat?
I can understand the pricing with the economy and the newness of this in manufactured homes. In a couple of years this will be more affordable. Thanks, Chance!
This would be what I would want! Farm, yet modern! Gorgeous!❤
Glad you like it!
I'm smitten with this place! The moment You stepped inside, I knew I was going to ❤ it! I would absolutely buy this home in a heartbeat!
I Love the way you show & tour homes. If there were tour awards, u would win because you set the standard!! 🔥 🥇
He is a good videographer but I think he talks too much and acts goofy sometimes.
Yes Yes👍🏾👍🏾
I sure preciate that!
I love his tours too. I will be buying if not in the fall, early spring of next year. His tours give me ideas on what to look for and let me know what I do not like. I am actually looking forward to hitting the pavement now.
@@maryfarmer155 Good Luck!! I hope you find the perfect home!!
Wow! Just an amazing layout. Am i the only one who noticed that even the master bedroom closet had it's own closet....crazy !
Line closet
The mobile home has been reimagined. This is everything you never could have dreamed a mobile home to be.... Right down to the price! Transitioned into a new era. Definitely a game changer if you can afford it!
Yep.. I surely did notice that 😄
Love this home!!!! It does have a good vibe ! Different, nice change.
This granny needs this love the wood burner send it to the Texas panhandle
Love that cabinet area between the kitche and living room for a coffe station! Coffee for both areas!! ❤
That’s usually called a butler’s pantry but why not set up a coffee bar there? Great space for overflow of kitchen, like at Thanksgiving, etc
Hi Chance, I've just happened to come across this stunning house. Not only is it spacious, but the attention to detail is exceptional. Based on the price for the square footage I'd purchase this home as a house rather than a mobile home. Thanks for showing this unique and special property. 🙏🏾❤️🇬🇧
So Glad , they used real wood shelfing in all the closets!!
Thank you, Chance. This house is phenomenal. The upstairs open up myriad possibilities. It’s a Deer Valley! Nothing more needs to be said.
Keep talking Chance, your voice is a pleasure to listen to 💖🤗💖
500k-580k is insane, still beautifully done though.
I just figured out how much it was, too. Good Lord! Half a million is insane.
@@conniebrown6909that’s nothing by todays standards
This home would be on a crawl space
No garage
That porch would be on site
Lots of cost above the cost of the modular part
Bless it. I love this..i has tears in my eyes. No joke. So beautiful.
❤❤❤ So the home come already furnished 🎉❤🎉
Beautiful ❤️❤️🎉🎉❤❤
Location
That is so friggin amazing. I don't even need the second floor. 😍
Then it's no longer a barndominium
OMG! Just yesterday I was looking for small barndominiums.
If you got $480,000 you can have this small bar do 😂
Chance, Wow! 😊
Some of us like the rambling, we get lots of fun and knowledge out of it. Keep up the good work and God Bless you and yours. 🙏
I saw this home, but no one shows it like you Chance.
Impressive! Drove by it the other day and quite impressive. That said, for $500k.... you can get a lot of house.
This is my favorite home you have shown by far!!!
The home of my dreams! For sure. Unfortunately I have to wake up.
😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂 me too
Or... You could work towards your "dreams". You only live once, Shirley😉🥰
The home of you're dreams is a mobile home?????????
Don't wake up. Keep dreaming sweetheart. You think about this home all day every day. You'll get there if you want it bad enough. There's power in positive thinking. I hope you get it. Keep the faith.
I can build you one for $250k with much better materials on a foundation in probably half of the time that you'll be waiting for your delivery.
What's your contact information?
Where are you located?
where are you located?
Not 4,000 square feet. Not a chance
Much better quality and better stronger materiales for sure! ❤ The black stairs will be a huge problem!!
And I have to be just as honest and transparent with everybody as well chance .... This is a nice home that is grossly overpriced at $600k + delivery and install + permits adding (this does not come furnished so bring your own appliances or add 💸💸) another 200k ( give or take) making this an 800k home all in.
That’s just sad😢
OMG, I'm blown away by this house!!
Perfect Chance, just perfect, love the 3 way fireplace and walk in pantry, especially the size, and I'll take some oreos and milk as well, the upstairs would make a great storage area too.
Chance ...this house is "Breath taking!!"❤😂🎉
You've got the best personality and so fun showing us all these homes you do God bless you Chance this is such a beautiful home this is a true dream house they built it so beautiful love the kitchen well love all of it thank you so much for your amazing tour
Love the house ,, positivity criticism don't linger to long in one area. ,,, Awesome Home. Thank you
This is absolutely beautiful. We just got inside. I can’t wait to see the rest of. It is beautiful.
This is an absolute buy so incredible
I would really like for you to tour the cabin that was next to this house!!!!
It will be coming soon!
Freakin Sweet 🤩🤩🤩🤩🥳🎉🎊🎉🎊🎇🎆🎆All The 🔔 bells and whistles are going off ‼️Thx Chance
Chance you are so funny. You make me smile when you walk into a nice pantry. I love touring these houses with you. I really do love this manufactured home. It's gorgeous.
That's a beautiful home it looks amazing😊
I’ve seen a lot of items overpriced, but this one takes the cake!
Thank you for showing us❤🥰
2 families could live here comfortably
Living room kitchen..... I'm loving it so far
You did a great presentation of this home!😊
Thank you!! 😊
Those pocket doors should be automatic with voice recognition & make that swooshing sound like on Star Trek
that would be awesome!
I love it. I don’t need the the top story. I would want a wood fireplace. ❤❤❤
I would never pay that for a manufactured home.
What a beautiful amazing home! Thank you for sharing it with us Chance! It's on my favorites list!
Our pleasure!
Packing my bags...lol. Unbelievable!! Definitely the most gorgeous pre fab home on the market. Love, love it inside and out!! Fantastic find, Chance. As always, God bless you and yours and safe travels.🙏😀
But I've been watching this video over and over several times, and I have decided that I'm going to have to call and check on certain things, I guess over the years that drywall is required part of house building, I don't think drywall will burn, but between the 2'x6' stud work they've done for the wall support, it's even better, l have lost interest in having anything painted, I would prefer everything to be wood-panelling ,I guess I'm just different ,but this barndo is the one I want, I think I'm going after the cozy cabin as well
Such a fabulous home and they put the microwave over the stove? This home deserves a beautiful vent hood.
I said the same thing, I really dislike the microwave over the stove that's so 2000
I almost passed out when I saw the stairs and fireplace. Imagine having an adjoined barn type home gym. 🔥🔥🔥
Have an amazing vacation, Chance 😊
That would be awesome! Thank you!
I was thinking the exact same thing!
Absolutely love this home . I would definitely live in this home, this would be my dream come true
Tornado: hold my beer , watch this.
500,000$ HELL NO
Everyone needs to stop overpaying and the prices will come down to reality
I see people saying it cost 1/2 a million? I live in Florida & there are block style construction homes with granite or other stone counters that are much safer, more sturdy to the elements in the $300's! This home is way over priced for a modular home! It may look pretty but will it hold up to a hurricane? And because it is a modular home, insurance is higher & some insurances won't even cover it! You'd be better off taking that 1/2 million & invest in the same home built out of block & wood. Sorry, not trying to be negative but realistic. Plus, the home values aren't as stable as a regular or block home as far as investment & resale.
I like the pantry-under-the-stairs idea. This place has everything.
I can't love this one enough! Wow!!!
Two words for the upstairs...model trains. .lol
Homes on Wheels beat you to this one.
Chance does a more in depth tour. Much better.
@@philipdessert1972 Much more annoying.
@@philipdessert1972 Actually from what I gather Chance doesn’t work a job this is all he does for money is make Mobile home videos. It’s too many different woods for me
I think this is the best one you have ever shown!
I always cook listening to a nice podcast with in ears. That’s even better cause cooking can be loud too!! So the way too your and your children’s happiness is in ears!!✌🏻
$145 a square foot for this HOUSE TRAILER? God help us survive the Inflation King in the White House! 😳😳
The farmhouse sink in the guess bathroom was wild. I love this barndo
That shower is so nice! Size is big enough for adult play time. 😉
I fell in love just with the outside, the layout is amazing and the closet in the master is a whole different room, the only thing I don't like is the AC vents in the floor. the decks need to wrap around on the back to the side door. I'm sold on this home
Gorgeous!
