Nice to see the master bedroom on the ground floor so you don't have to be running up and down stairs all the time if you don't want to. Plenty of room upstairs for kids or guests.
Hey Chance I just watched the video and the things in the floor in case no one has answered is Baseboard Heaters that are more geared toward colder climate areas. If you may have noticed they all had individual thermostats in the rooms so you could set your temps.
Exactly, however, the cost of using electric baseboard heating is very high, unless they were oil or gas or something. I wonder if forced air thru duct is an option. i am very surprised Chance was unaware what those were.
@@gacdogs8282duct isn’t that much cheaper than other options for ac/heat especially ac & takes up a lot of space in smaller homes. Starter home? It'd be a perfect empty nesters home after the kids are gone. Don't need much more than 1650 sq ft for me and wifey. Def gonna be looking for something like this after we buy land and throw a modular home on it.
Love the little house! Not crazy about stackable washer and dryer, would definitely put it on a basement, move the washer, dryer, furnace and water heater to the basement.
Putting laundry in the basement is from the dark ages! I love a stackable set - some are sets housed on the same floor as the bedrooms - I'm not dragging laundry to a basement!! As long as the utilities are hidden on the main level...I'd want them there. And I'd put this home on a concrete pad - not a basement...
@threedogslong you'll love it when it leaks and ruins more of the house as well 😂 joking aside, that's my biggest worry for having same level washer/dryer.
Very nice home especially the way the economy is. We have owned one home, a modular home, from the 2 of us, then 2 children and now empty nesters. Bought it and it went up in 1991: I have to say, modular homes are super strong because if they can be handled to drive on a tractor trailer. There are always added features to increase the price. Another big price that is not included to think about (in our case), general contractor to put in a foundation, land, permits, well water or cost of piping to town water. I love modular homes. This one is beautiful. The outside is a little different looking.
@aaronorr5586 Absolutely not! Laundry room can still be an option by removing the unnecessary half bath. You could then fit either a small freezer or mud room section as well as a full size washer and dryer with shelving.
@@raymccarty4612 The half bath is a bigger neccesity. It allows visitors a place to take a dump without invading the master suite or going to the family primary upstairs.
@seheabol yeah, a lot of wasted space for such a small floor plan. The house is pretty, but there are definitely a lot of things I'd do differently upstairs specifically.

This is such a cool structured house! These modular homes are really neat and as a young person who originally wanted to build my own home (now a fever dream) I'd actually look into these , especially since more lots are going up nearby
I agree that a laundry room would be nice and also the bed placement would be difficult in both the upstairs bedrooms because of the window placement. Love everything else!
Beautiful house. But just once it would be nice to have more separation between the kitchen and living room. They're practically one room. Which I hate all you need is a minor archway that lets you see into the kitchen. That way you have multiple places to mount a tv and be able to do more with the living room.
This is honestly everything a small modern family of four needs, given the housing market circumstances right now even I would easily go for it! Great video as always, I'm getting a lot of inspirations for my house I wanna build before I hit my 30s, haha!
I love this layout. It’s comfy and spacious where it needs to be. The kitchen being separate really opens up the space beautifully. The bathrooms are well placed and spacious for the house. I would switch and change walls and keep the 2nd full bath as makn bath and the other bath wirh shower only as guests baths and divide main bedroom into guests by myself. Built walls. As Bachelor I would do that. I need my bath!
I'm just the opposite! Who wants to sit in dirty water??? But I do think that at least one bathroom in each house should have a tub. Plus, now that I'm disabled, I wish I could have adhered to my 'rule' always to have a full bath on the main floor. 5.5 baths and not an option in my TH, so 4 years and counting with sink baths. Even a tub might be better.
For your knowledge those floor things are Baseboard Heaters. An improved version of those huge cast iron radiators in the old homes but you don't need to run HVAC ducts like in central systems. The older ones do run off of a boiler but new ones run off of electricity and are easy to install like a mini split but it's just for heating. Like a permanent space heater attached to your baseboard.
This is perfect for a couple who are getting older and need great first floor bed bath yet want space for the friends or rent a room or have kids or grandkids come visit. Or a couple who needs separate bedrooms because one snores the other out of the room. 😂
Nowhere to put or hang a TV in that living room. NO Fireplace, where would you put my 10 foot Christmas Tree. Beautiful home if don't want tv or fireplace. Sure creative, kitchen is Gorgeous!!!!!!!
I really like the office nook as well. I like the layout. I'm blessed to be in my little dream condo home (by the grace of God), but the video of this home is wonderful. Too bad it is 2 story (as some seniors *like me* would not be able to get up/down steps so easily. Otherwise, buy it while you can and stay in shape so you can continuously get up/down those stairs. Keeps the hiney toght too! 😘😁🥰👍 Having the Master Bedroom on the 1st floor is smart. Nice video, nice tiny home. Looks way bigger than the outside.
Chance I don't know why they put those metal bars to hang clothes in the closets. I would much rather have wood and the same thing in their manufactured homes.
As seniors, I love the bottom master, 2 bedrooms up with a bath. Makes good resale value. However, that master is mighty small, we have an adjustable king that will never fit, let alone any other furniture. Almost a win.
My bedroom is slightly smaller than the master in the video and my adjustable king bed, dresser, nightstands and even an ottoman for the dogs to look out the windows still leaves the room looking and feeling spacious. The bed has PLENTY of room on either side of the bed and the foot of the bed. Those master bedroom dimensions are pretty standard for an average sized home.
your comment about the baseboards made me chuckle. I didn't realize that they weren't universal across the US! Very popular up here in the NW, baseboards are an efficient and inexpensive way to heat homes. heat rises, so they're in the perfect position to heat up the place, and it also makes dealing with heating simpler when you have to ship the home and plant it. I know that Heat exchangers and split A/C units are more common in warmer climates, but they are also pretty expensive. I'm also sure that the manufacturer would replace the baseboards with a heat exchanger on request (or leave it open for you to add yourself later on). This home is amazing. It really is the perfect setup for someone like me. I think I'll be keeping an eye on this one moving forward.
instead of the first floor roof being slanted, knowing me, I would make it straight and put a roof on top but keep it completely open and use that as an entertaining area. Have a couple of access points to it
The vents on the side of the floors are for circulating heated air throughout the house. This house makes me wish I were not disabled. It is a beautiful place. Thanks for showing it to us

It's better than having a bathroom outside
You wouldn't if you had mobility issues. Those useless little tubs are very hard to climb into if you have stiff knees...
Slaps means AWESOME
I love that Home never seen a two story. Love the Kitchen. They are Heaters
This is perfect for a couple who are getting older and need great first floor bed bath yet want space for the friends or rent a room or have kids or grandkids come visit. Or a couple who needs separate bedrooms because one snores the other out of the room. 😂
Bro, it's a heater. i can't believe you did not know that good video any way
Nowhere to put or hang a TV in that living room.
😘😁🥰👍
Having the Master Bedroom on the 1st floor is smart.
Nice video, nice tiny home.
Looks way bigger than the outside.
Those were heaters. I didnt see any floor vents. It had a dial on the wall.
Have a couple of access points to it
It looks like baseboard heaters which are common in PA. Nice home. Thanks Chance for the tour. God bless. 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
I like it because my parents can live on the main floor & I can have the upper level. But needs a bigger laundry room :)
Make the 4th bedroom into a laundry room.
The vents on the side of the floors are for circulating heated air throughout the house. This house makes me wish I were not disabled. It is a beautiful place. Thanks for showing it to us
I love this house and Wow 3 bedrooms...Thanks for showing this house.
Glad you like it!
Live in the pod and eat the bugs
Lots of unusual shaped windows. The first room upstairs had 3 different windows on one wall! (and a fourth on the adjoining wall)
Love the natural light and the lighter floors. 👍🏻
Beautiful home 🏡
Very nice layout and a good combination of open floor plan and sperate rooms with doors. Nice storage areas too.
JUST LOVE THESE 2 STORY HOMES. VERY SWEET CURB APPEAL AND NICE INSIDE AS WELL
Very nice! The interior designer did a great job.
