Absolutely mate! I also mention cryo- and hydrotherapy as two recovery alternatives in the video. I just don't think that they should be the primary focus post-game in comparison to nutrition and sleep (at least, that's what science says!). Hope you found the video helpful!
Just saved the checklist to my photos, one thing I have not been doing is breathing properly and calmly, thanks for the reminder 😊 Also, how about a video series where you analyze 2-3 pro players in each position (a video for each) and state what they are doing better than other average players. You can make a checklist for each position, for example; say you’re doing a video about a center midfielder & it’s Jorginho -> you state his top attributes as well as his flaws and things he can improve on. What’s even more exciting is if you reference how WE, as learners, can work on such attributes and traits. Then you talk about the things that he does casually which every midfielder should do… like check the space over their shoulder, and always be available to intercept passes, etc… I think it would be awesome if you make a detailed video on players in each position (at least 2 players because not all defenders, midfielders, wingers, etc. have the same style. There are literally tens of styles). You can even use 1 or 2 or even 10’s of games’ highlights to showcase a repetitive action by the player.
Player/Position Analysis is definitely something that I wanna do in the near future. However, copyright restrictions make this a bit more difficult. I will try to work something out though lad as I definitely think these videos could offer clarity to many players in regards to their individual roles and duties. Thanks for commenting!
I’ve also experimented with taking ice baths after the game and it greatly reduces soreness if you do it properly
