  • In this video I will share with you my secrets to being able to recover quickly from intense training and exercise. In my sport it is imperative for us as professional athletes to be able to compete at a high level of activity on a daily basis. To do so, we need to manage our bodies to reduce the risk of injury and improve our performance.
Below are the benefits of each recovery method I like to use and why I like to use them.
Benefits of 9+ hours of sleep:
    - Curb inflammation
    - Allow for maximum muscle recovery
    - Improve memory
    - Sharpen attention
    - Aid weight loss
    - Lower stress and improve mood
    - Get sick less often
    Benefits of staying hydrated:
    - Boosts performance during exercise
    - Aids weight loss
    - Regulates body temperature
    - Flushes body waste
    - Helps to maintain blood pressure
    - Delivers oxygen throughout the body
    - Lubricates the joints
    - Boosts skin and health beauty
    - Prevents kidney damage
    Benefits of foam rolling:
    - Prevents injury and helps to recover the body quicker
    - Eases muscle pain
    - Removes lactic aid to and recovery
    - Increases range of motion
    - Helps to relax the body
    Benefits of glute band work:
    - Aids injury prevention
    - Cost effective
    - Easy to travel with
    - Comes with multiple levels of resistance for multiple levels of fitness
Benefits of Cupping (Must be supervised by a professional):
    - Promotes blood circulation
    - Provides a feeling of relief
    - Begins the healing and regeneration process
    - Warms the skin and softens tissue to regain elasticity
    - Reduces inflammation
    Benefits of graston:
    - Relieves tension and pain
    - Promotes faster rehabilitation
    - Reduces the need for inflammatory medication
    - In some cases, this treatment can be helpful in resolving chronic conditions
    Benefits of contrast ice baths:
    - Reduces inflammation in the muscles
    - Flush waste products
    - Increase fresh blood circulation
    - Jump starts the healing process
    - Ease sore and aching muscles
