If you have to fix a product to make it work it's a valid complaint. If it's so cheap to fix, why didn't it come with it?
I love the badge but I don't know how Bluetooth works. Never used it.

It doesn't have a biometric scanner? It should sense my vital signs and in the event of an emergency, automatically initiate a transport to sickbay.
it,s a no sale for me. the star tng bluetooth combadge should be slimmer in design with a stronger magnet clip that you don,t have to buy and the audio response needs improvement.
As far as the magnet goes, just get the combadge from Star Trek.com which is the same size and that magnet is seriosly strong. That'll work.

I like the thoughts of it but at our current level of technology it should be perfect. It's too thick and it should be touch sensitive and the audio should be louder and crystal clear. I understand why they cheaped out so it would appeal to not only diehard fans but also casual fans at the right price point. If they make one like on Voyager and it was perfect I would spend some serious gold pressed latinum.
N2tech the device is too small for a louder audio, but it could for sure be thinner, especially if they remove the micro USB port and use wireless charging

They are also coming out with a new improved one. Better paint, stronger magnet, simplified operation and even 1mm thinner. I'm waiting for mine in the mail.
