FAKE GLOBE: The video CONVEX EARTH THE DOCUMENTARY (on the Convex Earth youtube channel) has 7 types of scientific field experiments that prove the total ABSENCE of curvature on the surface of oceans, dams and large lakes. That's enough, it's conclusive, without curvature the globe and geoid shapes are impossible. With this conclusion, hundreds of questions arise, but obviously no unanswered question will create curvature on Earth.
The globe shape is embedded in the world education system so that there is no room for questioning. But how could the Earth be a globe if there is no curvature?
Engineering and physics faculties, for example, present calculations that start from the accepted premise of a globe, such as Eratosthenes' experiment, or images from space agencies that we have no way of going into space to redo and check.
There is NO scientific field experiment in academic science that proves the supposed curvature of the Earth for scientists, researchers, professors and students to redo and check. We only find theories or explanations that start from the accepted premise of being a globe, as Eratothenes did.
There are opinions and criticisms about the experiments in the Convex Earth Documentary, but no one in the world has managed to prove the supposed curvature of the Earth by reproducing the experiments.
Yes, world leaders know that the Earth is not a globe, but they have no interest in making it known to the public.
The technical data of the experiments can be found on the Convex Earth channel on youtube under the title:
      CONVEX EARTH TECHNICAL DATA
FAKE GLOBE AND THE ACADEMIC SCIENCE :
      - No scientist in the history of academic science has left any scientific field experiment proving the supposed curvature of the Earth for students of engineering, physics or geography to reproduce and check.
What exists are calculations based on the (wrong) accepted premise that it is a globe (as Eratosthenes did), and (fake) space images from space agencies. We cannot go into distant space and check it, it requires our faith that is true.
The total absence of curvature on Earth is proven with scientific field experiments, check out these videos :
      CONVEX EARTH THE DOCUMENTARY /
      CONVEX EARTH TECHNICAL /
Convex Earth UA-cam Channel / They are reproducible, measurable and observable scientific field experiments proving total absence of curvature on the surface of oceans, dams and great lakes.
Without curvature globe and geoid are impossible.
This is enough to prove that the globe or geoid shape is a lie, there is no need to discuss other topics.

    • @JMartJr
      @JMartJr 2 місяці тому +5

Interesting point. I know that the Bayeux Tapestry depicting the conquest of England by William the Conqueror in 1066 depicts Halley's Comet, which was visible in that year and is referred to in the histories. William did not have a lot of planes in his expeditionary force, even though air support would have been very handy, because they had not been invented yet!
Other early references to comets that I can think of are the one that was seen following Julius Caesar's assassination in 44 BC and another depiction of what might be Halley's comet in the Nuremburg Chronicle in 1493. The Chinese astronomers kept excellent records of comet observations.
The philosopher Seneca wrote a fascinating bit about comets. Most philosophers at the time believed comets were beneath the moon, Seneca argued that they were further away from us. As a flatterer of the Emperor Nero, how had to write a bit about a comet that had showed up during his reign -- comets were traditional seen as bad omens, but Seneca claimed that one showing up while Nero was emperor redeemed the reputation of cpomets, as there could be no bad omens at such a time! He concluded, “The day will yet come when posterity will be amazed that we remained ignorant of things that will to them seem so plain. . . . Men will some day be able to demonstrate in what regions comets have their paths, why their course is so far moved from the other stars, what is their size and constitution. Let us be satisfied with what we have discovered, and leave a little truth for our descendants to find out.”

The book was first published in 1879; my copy was printed in 1908. Page 5, in the Introduction, has "The exact shape of the Earth is an Oblate Spheroid, or a sphere slightly flattened at both ends." The next paragraph is titles "Proofs" and discusses the shadow of the moon, ships disappearing hull-first beyond the horizon, and (very neatly) "People are constantly travelling around it." Unfortunately, despite the widespread prominence of the idea that, in Greek mythology, Atlas is holding up the world, this notion is an entirely modern one with no basis whatsoever in any classical Greek or Roman sources. The ancient Greeks never believed that Atlas was holding up the Earth. Instead, they saw Atlas as holding up an entirely different celestial object; they envisioned him holding up the sky.
This was as punishment enacted by Zeus for Atlas having sided with Kronos during the Titanomachia. The modern misconception that Atlas was thought to hold up the Earth originates from the misinterpretation of classical sculptures of Atlas depicting him holding the celestial globe. People looked at these sculptures and mistook the globe Atlas is shown holding for the Earth.
Ultimately, myths are stories and stories are allowed to change. If we want to imagine Atlas holding up the Earth for the sake of contemporary portrayals, then we are allowed to do that. We must remember, however, that this is a modern portrayal and that this was never how the ancient Greeks envisioned him.

The 'modern' flat earth cult pretty much started when Samuel Birley Rowbotham released his book/pamphlet in 1849, well over 100 years before the modern internet and about 175 years before modern times. They however went mostly ignored and laughed at up until the rise of the internet which for the first time gave them an echo chamber where they could circle jer* all day long.
From 1849, the reason for flat earthers always were the same. Religion and specifically christianity. Even back then Rowbotham said that 'They' tried to hide god and are all worshipping Satan. Flat earth hasn't changed one bit. Now however they can enable each other.

"Most meteoroids that cause meteors are about the size of a grain of sand, i.e. they are usually millimeter-sized or smaller."

"firmament", you mean that latin word that means "expanse". The original Hebrew uses "raqia" which means something that was spread thin. A good example of this in the Bible was when gold was, "raqa'd", or hammered so thin it was then cut into thread. In the passage that flat earthers misuse, God spread out the heavens creating the earth's atmosphere, space, and the second heaven or God's dwelling place. All of this makes no sense as a dome, especially when the birds fly "on the face of" the firmament. The sun moon and stars are "in" the firmament. So a plain reading of the Bible clearly conflicts with the flat earth dome.
