This is exactly the type of lessons I've been looking for, not just learning songs but breaking down their style and learning the pieces. I'm definitely saving up for your online course, you're crushing it.
Mate I’m about to become your guitar apprentice, been learning from your lessons as well as your covers. Really helpful for a self-taught guitarist, you’re a beast.
If you were born in the era of Hendrix and Vaughan, You would definitely be one of the most recognizable and great guitarists in the world. Such an underrated guitarist on Insta And YT.
"I'm gonna play this slowly". Instinctively proceeds to rock out and then remembers he's doing a tuition 😅 where have you been hiding mate, you're incredibly talented! Love from UK!
The only guitar player I’ve ever found where they’ve got me to buy their online course. I’ve been working on the Stevie Ray Vaughan one for a few weeks now
I looked for a long time for just ONE good rhythm technique that’s not basic for blues, couldn’t find one, whole lot of clickbait with nothing remarkable. This is a great tutorial mate thank you.
Man I feel so greatful to subscribe your channel , please don't get disappeared from this channel once you get famous people like me always looking forward to learning from you . Thanks indeed . Namaste
This is outstanding. I bet if you do more of these lessons you will attract more to your paid course. I would love to spend all my money on you but cant at the moment. Are you self taught?
Whaooo !!! Thanks for the lesson, i've just found you and suscribe. Could you make a short solo lesson to associate with the first part of the rythm ? Thanks Keep it up man
What can i do to make my strat sound more clear in the higher tones like yours? The high E is by far not so clear to hear like yours. I have a Fender Classic Player 60‘s. Thank you for your help! Love your playing very much! 🙏
Just found and subbed. What a great lesson. Also, paying special attention to 12:15-12:54, the amount of variation you can get from a very small area of the fretboard is gold.
Totally milking the pentatonic for all it’s worth haha! It’s what I picked up from Stevie, trying to be as creative as possible with a limited set of notes
How do you get your hands so fast, and with such dexterity and accuracy? Is it just all practice? I am wondering as an intermediate level player and I am astonished by what you can do.
@@seanmannguitar do you have any tips and tricks to get better? Or just add more hours a day to practice. Man... I feel so sloppy and slow when I play. I'm currently practicing slow for accuracy and then fast to push myself into new technique
Hi Sean, I'm looking closely and listening.. you seem to be keeping the bass in the A7 held down slightly and trying to strike that separately? same with the other chords? thanks
I know the pentatonic, so do I play first position if it’s close to the chord for lead? Like I’m hitting a c minor chord and right there is c minor pentatonic, first position, then I switch to a B, and right there is first position b, so I play that? I’m trying to figure how to choose what position to of a full scale and when
Stick to the key to play lead lines. So if it’s in C minor use the C minor pentatonic, even when changing chords. That’s why it’s handy to learn all 5 positions, that way you’re aware of all the accessible notes over the full fretboard
When you play single note riffs, like from 8:02 onwards, do you try to target the correct string with your right hand while strumming (more or less) or do you just strum all strings equally?
" Hi Sean, Sorry for my ( Bad English ). Wath Use in the vdc - Model/Pick and Size/String. .. For Me it's Very Important. .. Thank for Your Eventualy Responce. .. Very Good Job on Istructional Video Lesson on Rithem Guitar Concept. .. Ni............ce ... ☺😊😀/🎼🎶💙🎸🎵/👍✌👌👏👋

the beginning s pretty similar to Wilko Johnson teching „she does it right“ 👏🏻🤗
Thank you very mutch Sean 👏💓🎸🙏
Awsome guitarist Sean
Great video. I found this practice to be even more effective if you count aloud with a metronome while playing.
We need more of this lesson please😊
Just awesome! Thank you so much!

Cool. 😎 Sounds like a cross between FUNK 49 & FOOTLOOSE. IMHO.

Good stuff brother!
Cheers John!
Dude you’re insane
Hell, yeah!!
HOw long have you been playing? Did you take lessons? How much do you practice?
I’ve been playing for 15 years. I’m self taught and I wouldn’t say I practice, I just sit and play. But I do it a lot 🤣
Whaooo !!! Thanks for the lesson, i've just found you and suscribe.
Could you make a short solo lesson to associate with the first part of the rythm ?

Keep it up man
Thanks man!
I wish if I were your neighbor to get lessons from you.
Nice

Maybe raise the pickups on the treble side
This channel has a future for sure
Nice lesson bro❤️❤️
Thanks a lot!
awesome video man, I see why your strat has that wear above the pick guard
Thanks a lot! I did the wear myself with sandpaper, regret doing it now so don’t recommend haha
Noice!👌🤙🔥
🙌🙌
will you be doing a vid on how to make your thumb grow longer?
😂

🎵Great stuff! But man I wish there was tab for we dyslexic folks. Would be a major help!!!🎵
🤩🤩🤩
Which pick up position do you usually use?
Usually 4th or 5th
Fantastic, Sean!!! Do you play other styles aswell?
Nah just this mainly. Thanks a lot!

Pls start writing songs, even if they are very similar to srv jm songs I would love to here them
Hi Sean, I'm looking closely and listening.. you seem to be keeping the bass in the A7 held down slightly and trying to strike that separately? same with the other chords? thanks
Yes, exactly
If People say that Hendrix is sloppy I ask about playing me Intro of kiling floor from Monterey 67. Rhythm is a Basic.
Hey any tips on how to land on the down beat of the chord after improvising?
Holy shit man, sign me up! Lol
If stevie ray vaughan was a guitar teacher
thanks! is this out of your course?
This one isn’t included in the course, but there are other rhythm lesson videos included oriented around the back catalogues of Hendrix/SRV/Mayer
What strat are you playing Sean? Tone is quality
This is a Fender Classic Series 60s
This lesson is basically "Skills and concepts to play 'Who did you think I was?'"

Sean, how do you transpose this when your guitar is tuned down to e flat? Cheers mate
How long have you been playing guitar bro?
14 years
When you play single note riffs, like from 8:02 onwards, do you try to target the correct string with your right hand while strumming (more or less) or do you just strum all strings equally?
All strings equally, but a lot of intentional muting going on with unused fingers on the fretting hand
@@seanmannguitar Thanks, it's definitely not easy to get reliably clean with this but sounds great :) Great lesson, cheers.
Just like cold shot intro and pride and joy shuffle and let's say must of srv music lol it's easy
HOW DID I KNOW YOU WERENT BLOODY AMERICAN MATE
What’s ur tuning bro here
Standard tuning
Is the opening riff original or is it a stevie song. Id like to have the tabs
It was just a jam
I really appreciate your response, despite it being an older video. Do you ever make pro tabs for your original pieces 👆
please tell me what song first
Just rhythmic improv, taken inspiration from Mayer stuff Who Did You Think I Was, songs like that
@@seanmannguitar this is very similar to srv. I originally thought it was his song
Can I like it twice???
👍👌🇦🇹🙋😃

It’s a Classic Series 60s strat MIM 2016. Swapped pickups out for Texas Specials. I use Elixir 11-49 strings
@@seanmannguitar action at twelve fret ?
you've long fingers that's why it's very very easy for you to play these stuffs and that kind of playing.
That and years of dedication, focus, and practice
