    And in this video, I show you how to make an inexpensive outdoor table using some cedar fence posts I picked up a the home improvement store.
    Combine this great looking table with the fold down option and you have a simple custom feature.
    You may also be surprised at the natural beauty hidden under those rough looking fence posts.

    MAD SKILLZZZ! I am loving the holding brackets rather than using legs in front that I could see me kicking out easily

    Excellent idea! I've been needing to build a fold down table I can use for finishing and painting that would be right under my exhaust fan, then fold out of the way when not needed. Your idea for the braces to come out at 45 degrees is just the ticket for the configuration I need for the wall. Thanks!

      That would be nice. And with the wood in the back, there might be enough room for storage.

      Around kids I would add some type of spreader spanner with eye hooks to keep the supports from being folded back to the wall from kids playing under the table. One that unhooks easy for the grown ups.

    Great video! Good pace, informative, family, friendly, clear a consice. For me, it's perfect. Can you add links or descriptions of the tools used? Or maybe just one video of a tour of your tools: make, model, why you picked that one (price, availability, etc).
    Really appreciate all of your efforts producing these. Nice to watch. Thanks to our Father and to you.

    nice fold down table. FYI, I use pocket hole toenail technique when doing 2x material or plywood. the joint is much strong when toenailing the pocket holes on both sides. I did a video on that subject if interested in a new technique of joinery. enjoy your channel. keep making them.

    This is cool... I'm curious if i could use this design with a bed frame? 🙈 We have a platform base bedframe but with our old mattress, we grew accustomed to sleeping on it sideways and our Labrador in the middle.. now that we're coming closer to finishing the bedroom, we've started sleeping the correct way & our poor dog isn't enjoying the limited space. He's used to stretching out between us... So to solve this, I'd like to build a board that we can prop up for our feet & be able to hold the weight of our 100+ lb special needs Labrador. I also plan to make a bench pillow for this addition 🙈

    • @SpecificLove7
      @SpecificLove7  Рік тому

      It might work, but I would definitely test it out with a lot more weight than expected because there's always a good chance that a couple people might try and sit on it at one time. Or if somebody falls on it, could it break? I always lean on the side of extra strength rather than appearance.
