It's unfortunate you got around to BK after they discontinued the Spicy Ch'King and swapped it for the Royal line. Spicy Ch'King was actually the best fastfood chicken sandwich you could get, even beating popeyes. It was super weird that BK of all places just happened to go so hard on their chicken sandwich. Their reason for discontinuing it was depressing, basically because they were reall chicken breasts fried on site and that process slowed down food prep, which I guess ultimately lost them money. The Royal Chicken isn't bad, to me it's more of an A than an A+, but the Spicy Ch'King was S+.

It‘s funny how the quality of those fastfood chains differs from country to country. Where I live, Burger King has way higher quality than McDonalds. The meat is way better and they don‘t put 30 little pieces of salat in the burger that all fall out when you take the first bite like McDonalds does. The Chicken Nuggets from Burger King suck tho, so seems like that‘s an international thing xD
The only thing I never understood is: Why the Hell does Burger King think their Whoppers don't need cheese? They literally charge you to put cheese on the burger! If you don't like lettuce and order it plain, it's literally just a hamburger.
I've also grown to prefer their Impossible menu options. They have more flavor, and the texture is different but not unpleasantly so. And yeah, they do pretty good with their chicken sandwiches, too. Also the only drive thru you can get SURGE at, to my knowledge.
Did they not have the Texas Whopper? That's by far their best permanent menu burger where I'm at (Ghost pepper Whopper is better, but I think it's limited time)
I am so sorry that you subjected yourself to this. Burger King has the absolute most greasy and vile burgers imaginable. I've tried to give them several chances, but every time their patties are dripping in grease that gives me heavy indigestion and agitates my acid reflux even if I took my medication.
For me, Burger King is not as readily accessible as McDonald's or Wendy's (it's further away from where I live), so it's a nice change of pace when I do get it. But other than that, yeah, I would rank it lower than those overall. The fake char taste is alright in small doses, but I don't like it that much. Once you mentioned it, I totally agree they're pretty mustard-heavy. Wtf is up with that?? lol
Burger King onion rings getting an F almost feels like blasphemy; has their quality really sunk _that_ low??? They used to be one of their best menu items, weren't they? Or do I just have weird taste?

@@thomasvnl I was just gonna say lmao, ultimate sign of a bad fast food place. "If you take the bun and add ingredients from your kitchen it actually tastes like a real hamburger!"
I used to work at a Burger King inside an airport terminal, I would always make myself a Bacon Whopper with stacker sauce instead of mayo and then grab a Hershey Pie for desert. Also, as far as any of the chicken/fish products, they are only good when freshly cooked, but we often had them sitting in the warming shelves for up to an hour, so if you ever got unlucky and ordered them and got that 50 minute old chicken sandwich, you were in for a bad time.
@@emiami458 they were still edible, they just didn't taste as good towards the end of that time. This is standard practice at most fast food places, they cook the food in batches then have them in warm containers for a set amount of time depending on the food. It takes up to 20 minutes to fry some of the product, and if they did that for every order it wouldn't be "fast food".
"Up to an hour" is more of a guideline. I have worked at burger king for about 3 years. People would just reset the timer a couple of times if it was slow. They would serve 2-4 hour old chicken/fish sometimes. I'm not saying everywhere does it, but when you employ literal teenagers who don't give a crap, they will just reset the food spoilage timers.
I love Burger King. But for me, it's not about the food. It's about the nostalgia. Growing up, my grandfather was the man I loved most in the world. I cared deeply about him. He was always my favorite person to be with. I adored him so much... Every Sunday, after church, him, my grandma, and I would all go out to eat at BK. I came to associate BK with hanging out with my grandfather. I associated the Whopper with him, being his favorite food. Their onion rings, their fries... My papa died a few years ago. Not to Covid, but just to old age. He made it... all the way to 97. He was there for so much of my life. He's gone now. But sometimes... I go to BK and I buy a Whopper. I bite into it, replaying those words of wisdom he'd give me, those random musings. The war stories from his time as a medic during WWII... BK isn't what it used to be. The food isn't great. But it helps me remember my grandfather. And to me, that's even more important than a few measly dollars. I miss you, papa...
Why do I relate to this so much? Growing up my grandfather was my hero. I didn't have a dad growing up so I called him dad. Even up until the day he passed away I still called him dad or "da". Every Saturday morning my grandparents would pick me up and we'd spend the weekend together. Saturday mornings would be consist of going to McDonald's or BK (but usually BK) and dining in for their breakfast. He'd always get the pancakes, eggs and sausage with coffee and I always got the the sausage egg and cheese crossiant. He'd tell me stories about his childhood and I wouldn't never get tired of listening to them. As I hot older he taught me how do mow a lawn, change a light bulb, use a screw driver ect. He was a great teacher. We didn't have the best relationship as I got older (for very complicated reasons) but I still loved him dearly. He passed away in 2019 and Bk's breakfast (though terrible) alway reminds me of the good times in life
so SungWon's S tiers were an appetizer (jalepeno poppers), 2 desert items (chocolate pie, oreo shake), and 1 burger (which might be a time limited burger? orange colour)
I can always appreciate BK for having vegetarian options, it makes road trips a lot easier and they're pretty good imo. If other fast food places would make non-meat nuggets, I'd be set. I mean the texture is usually so smooshed anyway, just keep the same spices
Not sure how it is in the US, but in the UK having McDonald's, Burger King, Subway, and KFC (i.e. the places that are at every motorway service stop, train station, and airport) all having vegetarian/vegan options has been a really welcome change in the last 5 years. I'd generally rather eat elsewhere, but sometimes it's unavoidable and BK's vegan nuggets are pretty awesome.
The paper it's wrapped with is better for you than those fake meat patties. They're loaded with terrible additives and don't give any of the nutrition of actual vegetables.
I love this series so much lol. If you want an idea for a restaurant with a lot of variety (and don't mind the price), I would say Cheesecake Factory! They have so many different meals and different genres of meals too so there's alot of try 😅
Burger King is good when you aren't paying full price. Me and my friends once got our hands on an army of those cutout Burger King coupons, and each one says you can only use one coupon per transaction, but our Burger King did not care how many coupons we used at once. Burger King tastes much better under those circumstances.
I just have to watch this after his comment in the most recent video (How well do my wife and I know each other challenge?) Something here caused you to never want BK again..?
Honestly, I love BK. That's more because my girlfriend is vegan and it's a place we can go where she can actually get something other than soda and a fries. I normally go for a whopper because they have a deal where you can get 2 whoppers/impossible whoppers(can mix and match surprisingly) and two small fries for $6, but the royal crispy chicken is also one of my go to picks.
I like watching these since I always have a hard time figuring out what to order. These videos are really helpful and I'm glad you make them! Even helps me find new things to order! ^^

@@waitselljones8068 I’m assuming he’s filming a bunch of these at the same time. So he’s filmed Burger King, Jack in the Box and McDonald’s in the last month. I agree with the mustard issue. I've had to order the burgers with no mustard because it overpowers the rest of the burger. that and it forces them to actually make them fresher and not been sitting under a heat lamp

@@robertthomas4633 I was exaggerating of course but I'll admit it was not in service of my point.
Damn, thanks for the story
He passed away in 2019 and Bk's breakfast (though terrible) alway reminds me of the good times in life
Thank you for sharing that story, hun. I'm sure your grandfather really cherished those times too
90s BK: God tier fast food.
Modern BK: would rather eat from a dumpster
I miss 90s BK so much. Them big kids meals were my shit. I remembered them being called mighty kids meal but apparently that was McDonald's
I worked at burger King for years, so this is gonna be great
do you agree with his judgment's burger king??
I'm sorry for your service
@@Taznixx yea, all of it is terrifying though, I'd avoid burger king at all costs, it's a trap, and will do nothing but hurt you
Taco Bell employee left like 15 tricks of the trade, you gotta step up your comment game here man
The grocery list plot line has me hooked. Needed trash bags, got the wrong size -- needed LARGE (underlined!). Love it!
"Chewing through a wall of mediocre meat" is a fantastic description of a triple Whopper
I love how the shopping list went from asking for trash bags to LARGE trash bags.
Environmental storytelling
His wife's comments honestly makes this more entertaining
The Chiking being removed is honestly the biggest issue with BK. It was actually amazing. Better than popeyes.
so SungWon's S tiers were an appetizer (jalepeno poppers), 2 desert items (chocolate pie, oreo shake), and 1 burger (which might be a time limited burger? orange colour)
tells you a lot about burger king
I'm glad he validated my opinion that the chicken fries are pretty good.
I'm 90% sure that the Hershey's pie is made by Edward's. It looks very similar.
@@riles_doodles got to admit, I'm not overly familiar with Edward's or Hershey's pie
I pray for your toilet
@Shoreline Fishing many of us want more options than just salads
Salad taste sad and are loaded they’re not even good for you
The paper it's wrapped with is better for you than those fake meat patties. They're loaded with terrible additives and don't give any of the nutrition of actual vegetables.

I’m so sorry you had to do this
For the love of god... BUY SOME RANCH!!!
Burger King is underrated. It's not like amazing or anything but I feel like everyone hates it but its not really too bad imo
Bro, never try anything from the kids menu, I almost died after consuming 17 pounds of mustard on one small cheeseburger
So how is it underrated then lol
@@thepants1450 because most people hate it but I don't
@@the9thinning1 if most people hate it it's not underrated
@@tritan1310 that's literally the definition of underrated. most people hate it but i think its not bad. i think its underrated
Great work as Ratatoskr in GoW! Such a fun character
Why do people hate burger King so much??? It's delicious
its trash here in NY
Its fucking aids where i live in guadeloupe
I love this series so much lol. If you want an idea for a restaurant with a lot of variety (and don't mind the price), I would say Cheesecake Factory! They have so many different meals and different genres of meals too so there's alot of try 😅
Dude if he did a cheesecake factory video it would be like 50 hours long
three months later he did it lol
ua-cam.com/video/WSCc1xAJ_-4/v-deo.html
I love keeping up with your grocery list
Burger King is good when you aren't paying full price. Me and my friends once got our hands on an army of those cutout Burger King coupons, and each one says you can only use one coupon per transaction, but our Burger King did not care how many coupons we used at once. Burger King tastes much better under those circumstances.
Someone gets it!
ProzD would be stoked to hear that Burger King in Germany just puts the Impossible patty on any burger you want it on. It's really nice.
They do that here but it's 4 dollars. Makes any burger overpriced!
@@retrocademedia-announcements That sucks. Here you just have the choice for the same price. Makes many meat eaters try it.
I’m so happy you don’t hate everything 😭 I’m surprised about the fish!! I’ve been wanting to try it but I’ve been nervous. Thanks for the heads up!! 💕
I just have to watch this after his comment in the most recent video (How well do my wife and I know each other challenge?)
Something here caused you to never want BK again..?
Honestly, I love BK. That's more because my girlfriend is vegan and it's a place we can go where she can actually get something other than soda and a fries. I normally go for a whopper because they have a deal where you can get 2 whoppers/impossible whoppers(can mix and match surprisingly) and two small fries for $6, but the royal crispy chicken is also one of my go to picks.
I like watching these since I always have a hard time figuring out what to order. These videos are really helpful and I'm glad you make them! Even helps me find new things to order! ^^
I have tried a few new foods that I wouldn't have because of these videos. It's awesome.
Bourgur
RIP The Ch'King sandwich. You left us too soon
Fun fact: The Ch’king is the exact same sandwich as our ‘new’ Royal chicken. We just changed the name because nobody could fuckin say it.
@@ItsSilverPride then the bk I went to used the wrong patty. It was completely different
Tbh the fryers are a huge thing. If you go two days without fresh oil it takes an S tier meal down to a F. Even if it’s fresh.
Damn the only reason I go to burger king ia because i love their onion rings
I’m just surprised that you manage to keep these “all the menu items at” lists from duplicating. Like I’m imagining being at the drive through open spread sheets to figure out what’s left.
Ever heard of making a list lol
Why would you need a spreadsheet? You just list them out and scratch them off.
@@waitselljones8068 I’m assuming he’s filming a bunch of these at the same time. So he’s filmed Burger King, Jack in the Box and McDonald’s in the last month. You also have to keep all the video separate, which wouldn’t be so bad if you edit as you go, but easy to lose files if you aren’t. A spreadsheet makes sense to me, it’s online and searchable, and tabs for each place. Pen and paper works, but multiple people can’t share said piece of paper etc. people manage work flows differently but if I accidentally had to eat two original chicken sandwiches from BK I’d quit.
@@H3110NU why would several people need to work on a list of menu items a single person has already ha, what the hell are you even talking about
@@namenotavailable6879 because he doesn't edit his own videos or at least not these big ones. AFAIK jayperior edits them and i assume it would be quite helpful for jay to have an online reference. maybe prozd shares a spreadshit or a list or maybe he sends him his handwritten notes. either way, i assume they do share a list some way
Not having breakfast at McDonald's or burger King is depriving yourself of their best food
Burger King's french toast sticks are fantastic
Amen
Every french toast sticks from every fast food place taste exactly the same.
The hashbrowns and french toast sticks are the only good thing.
ong, the egg-normous burrito with some picante sauce is goated. also BK coffee is S+++ tier, though I can understand why most people would hate it because I LOVE my coffee burnt and smoked to hell
@@arazec1014 The egg normous burrito is indeed delicious. The sauce makes it
I have a burger King in my work parking lot so I feel your fatigue.
That said the onion ring sauce has decent flavor. I used to get that a lot. I havent bought any burger King in over a year. Took like a month to get sick of it.
I haven’t watched one of this guy’s videos since like 7th grade. I’m in college now. I remember why I loved this guy.
I love the Korean sticker on your fridge whiteboard that says “don’t look at me, don’t talk to me, don’t touch me” lol
Groceries: trash bags
Next day: LARGE trash bags
Someone goofed.
Highly invested in the groceries list on the fridge.
The only thing I would suggest adding to this is the breakfast. They do some surprisingly good breakfast items
had to come in to the comment section JUST to say the onion rings are my favorite thing that Burger King offers lmao one of my true guilty pleasures for sure.
when this came up in the video i was like, easy s-tier 😂😂
Apparently after the first grocery store trip the wrong trash bags were selected...... 😆
I agree with the mustard issue. I've had to order the burgers with no mustard because it overpowers the rest of the burger. that and it forces them to actually make them fresher and not been sitting under a heat lamp
Is that actually a thing now lmao. I've never had issue with BK's mustard, they love drenching their burgers with mayo though. Was surprised he didn't mention that
@@phyxiuss could just be an issue with my towns bk. Mustard oozing out the side of the burger. But they sit premade a bit also and the bun gets a bit stiff.
I don't know if you enjoy doing these, but if you need more try everything videos: taco time, pizza hut, dominoes, little Caesar's, various different brands of Mac and cheese
