      @@PaulEsteves28that would be amazing, I’ve had it for a while and I know there’s so many features I don’t know how to do. Like queuing up multiple renders. So I can wake up with all the shots rendered instead of just one ☹️

    Definitely much more satisfying than MPM setups.😅 thanks a bunch for those tutorials.

    Always such a pleasure to watch and follow. Love how you are using Soft Peak here. Big fan of Soft Peak and Soft Transform.

    Sick! I had not used the mops clip by attribute yet. 🤯great stuff!

      Houdini 20.5's Clip SOP actually added this behavior built-in via the Clip Attribute. I'll still leave MOPs Clip by Attribute alive for a while but the built-in option may be faster.

    Really cool setups, thanks for sharing ! Quick question : What technique do you use to get such a smooth mesh & render with the growth effect on the cube ? I am getting unwanted mesh detail on hardsurfaces, like rounded micro edges.. I've tryed using VDB dilate smooth erode but i can't seem to get a clean result !

    Hi, thanks for this. I use the mops falloffs quite a lot (mainly shape and spread) and not really looked at other mops nodes, but having the seen the mops clip node in action I'll have to dig into Mops more. Hopefully you'll do more stuff like this.

      Yeah, the mops toolkit is so massive, hard to remember all the nodes!

    Thank you so much for the video, Paul. May I ask if you still actively use Vance tools? Cheers from Rosenheim :)

    the growth effect can be done with pyrosorucespread too right?

    • @PaulEsteves28
      @PaulEsteves28  14 днів тому

      Sure! I find the pyro source spread to be a bit more involved to get it to work as you want, but it can definitely do it!
