Wow, the end screen sent chills up my spine. I lost my brother on July 4, suddenly and tragically. I, too, have been feeling many of the same things you describe. Empty. Unable to find joy in the things that so recently brought me joy. I think I am getting better, but I am not sure. I loved him, I miss him, and he took a part of me with him. His name was Dan. I know he wasn't the Dan you made this for, but forgive me if I pretend he was. Thank you.
Oh man, I'm so so sorry. The guys in the video are my brothers, that's who I went to see and spend time with. I don't necessarily believe in fate, but in some way, maybe I meant to make this video to help me heal, and maybe you were meant to watch it to help you heal too - if only a little. Whatever your own healing journey looks like, I'm sure you'll realise it when you're already on it. I hope you start to feel a little more like you again soon. If I can leave you with a quote from a Marvel TV series that really helped me. (I know, weird place to pull something significant from, but trust me)... “What is grief, if not love persevering?”
I'm very sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing this and being vulnerable with us. It is never easy going through something like this. What a beautiful way to grieve ❤
My thoughts are with you often. You know, making this video really helped me - helped me understand, process, and accept. And I really did mean it, Dan's beautiful positivity and outlook is now with me whenever I think of him. 💛
This was a heavy one Aidan. Felt the weight of every word. Losing somebody you care for is incomparable to any other experience. So sorry to hear you're going through it. I'm glad you had somebody like Dan in your life while he was still with us. Sincerest condolences my friend.
My condolences for your loss. I have too recently lost a friend but when i look back, its not a loss but a growth that we learn to understand ourselves and life better. Take care!
Aidan, I watched this video a couple days ago and haven’t stopped thinking about it since. This was so raw and real. Although you felt numb, I could hear the wave of emotion behind your voice. I’ve been appreciating life more ever since. Thank you for having the courage to speak about this so openly. Sincere reflections like this change lives. Sending you and your beloved friend much love and serenity 👐🏻
It was a tough one, I was crying in the edit 😅 But it also helped me make sense of my feelings, and it seems to be helping others too, which is even better. Thanks so much for your support 🙌🏽
I am sorry for this, Aidan. Recently, I lost a friend too. And I've realized the same: in some ways, he is still helping me and even teaching me lessons. It is a beautiful video. It has made me stop on this frantic day and think calmly. Thank you!
@@AidanBelizaire I am doing well, Aidan. Thanks for asking. I hope you get better about this loss. And keep going with your videos. They are truly inspirational.
Just wanna say I’m really sorry that this has happened to you man. This video was great and I wish you well on your healing journey, Jesus is always there wanting to listen, He understands it all
Aidan. This is quite beautiful, sensitive, and emotional. It’s straight from your heart, from your soul. Your words are more than perfect. Even the wrong choice of music could have broken the spell .. but the music was perfect. I think this is probably the best video you have ever written, produced and directed. Daddio x😢
So sorry for your loss my Amigo ❤ Grief is forever, it's a constant management of emotions, but remembering those we lost , reliving memories, we eventually get back on track! Sending you the biggest hug ever ❤
Gracias mi amiga... If anything I've learnt to feel everything as it's such an important part of the healing process some of us (me) sometimes ignore... Mucho love 💛
For those of us who are unfamilar with grief, a great short book titled "How Men Grieve" by Tom Golden is chock full of insights that both men and women can greatly benefit from knowing. Great for men to be validated, great for women to better understand the men in thier lives.
I'm sorry for your loss man, its tough. I just want you to know that your videos get me through my rough days, they are super uplifting, and teach me new lessons about life. Keep it up man🫶🏻
Thanks amiga. This video was actually super therapeutic for me. Writing the script helped me understand how I was feeling, make sense of it. Thanks also for your beautiful support. x
That's really not an easy video to make at all. We all go through this process with the loss of someone and it's very relatable to everyone. Major props to you for making this and I'm sure Dan will be proud of where you going, Don't look back, the only way is forward 👍
Thanks brother. I think along side helping me process everything, this video was a way to move forward with positivity and keep the lessons I learnt from my friend with me. 🙂
Hey Aidan! I'm sorry to hear about this. This video is really heavy! I hope you are doing as well as you can! Losing someone is always life-changing! I'm surprised you had the strength to make a video about it. Losing someone can really put your own life in perspective and give you a different point of view on how you see the world, for sure! If you ever need to talk, let me know. The video is well done! Thanks for sharing! I could really feel the emotion in this one!
It is quite a heavy one, I promise to resume normal programming soon haha. Seriously, thanks for your support man. Actually making this video was somewhat cathartic you know? It actually made me feel a lot better making it, maybe it's just how I can express myself best, or at least release.... Thanks for always being here mate 💛
Hey Cuz, so sorry you've had to make this video. Filming and sharing your feelings, or lack of, will hopefully give you something and potentially help others who can relate. Always here if you have some time to chat ❤
